Religion / Re: The Training Of The Spirit - Pastor Chris by Azibalua(f): 10:32pm On Aug 17, 2011
na wah oh
some people are just so smalll minded,
jesus could use his saliva and clay to heal a blind man, leprous naaman was told to wash in a very dirty water, these all sound stupid but yet this was the mind of god at work, whats now wrong if a pstor says all should stand its possible someone with a back pain could just be receiving his healing at that moment or something else, whatever the case is the issue is thats the mind of the spirit at that instant
the issue is not standing when the pastor says so but rather being responsive to the spirit of god.

Pastor Kun:

Is it becos of wife beating that Oyak's wife is seperated from him? That is apart from him wanting her to personally oversee their lucrative london branch were they generate a lot of hard currency.
Are you sure you don't beat your wife, you seem to think you know the qualities of those who beat their wives?

Religion / Re: What Is Your Opinion On Paying Tithe. by Azibalua(f): 5:58pm On Aug 12, 2011
Your tithe is not a free will offering it is what you pay to god,as a result of your being blessed by him,it is not optional. It is for God and no other person

Religion / Re: Tithes - Does God Want The Tithes Of Money? by Azibalua(f): 11:11pm On Aug 10, 2011
Febup:

What has this passage you quoted, got to do with fasle pastors collecting tithes:
Romans 14:1-6
3 The man who eats everything must not look down on him who does not, and the man who does not eat everything must not condemn the man who does, for God has accepted him.
4 Who are you to judge someone else’s servant? To his own master he stands or falls. And he will stand, for the Lord is able to make him stand.
5 One man considers one day more sacred than another; another man considers every day alike. Each one should be fully convinced in his own mind.
6 He who regards one day as special, does so to the Lord. He who eats meat, eats to the Lord, for he gives thanks to God; and he who abstains, does so to the Lord and gives thanks to God.

You thinking that these pastors are false just because they teach the principle of tithing to bring knowledge to the saints shows how myopic you are

So they are all God's men, even the thieves, intimate perverse and liars among them ?

I have an English friend who is a a pastor and he told me how disapointed he was when he visited Nigeria , an all he heard from Nigerian pastors was about MONEY , MONEY , MONEY , MONEY.

Yep, that's it, the MONEY GOSPEL.

No more holiness, just MONEY.
No more getting sin out of your life , just MONEY.

No more loving your neighbor as yourself , just MONEY

No more dying to self, just MONEY.

Shocking !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Even if it hurts it's still not for you to handle,

80% of Nigerian Pastors are opportunists and wolves in sheep clothing.
Shame to them !!!
The way some peoples mouth can get them into trouble, if you can speak such about people anointed by God,you are one heavy nepios anyway thank god for his grace and mercy.
Here's a little advice
1 Peter 3:10
10 If you want a happy, good life, keep control of your tongue, and guard your lips from telling lies.

Meanwhile.
Romans 14:4
4 They are God's servants, not yours. They are responsible to him, not to you. Let him tell them whether they are right or wrong. And God is able to make them do as they should.

Religion / Re: Tithes - Does God Want The Tithes Of Money? by Azibalua(f): 9:24am On Aug 10, 2011
Febup:

You and your pastor friends that collect tithes are not collecting it for God and you do not care about the people giving you tithes from thier income but you are thieves in charge your church's money bag just like Judas Iscariot below:
John 12:6
He did not say this because he cared about the poor but because he was a thief; as keeper of the money bag, he used to help himself to what was put into it.

Is this not what you tithe collecting pastors are doing? Helping yourselves to what is in the church's money bag.
angry angry angry angry
you speak as tough you have witnessed this firsthand,
Tithing is a principle of prosperity, every Christian must function in this light, even leaders in the house of god,
The idea that pastors are feasting on the tithe of individuals is nothing but just talk to gain sympathy,
Even if they are I don't think you are their boss why not leave it to God,since you are not in the right position to judge.

Romans 14:4
4 They are God's servants, not yours. They are responsible to him, not to you. Let him tell them whether they are right or wrong. And God is able to make them do as they should.

You know what the best reaction to render to him is to ignore him especially when he begins to get silly (becos sometimes he actually begins by really making a sense or having the potential to make a sense but almost as always is the case he spoils everything with just one wrong word or statement).

Só where have you being all this while becos l can hardly remember youre last contributions on any topic you seem to me as one returning from a vacation hahaha
Had some serious work to do that took a lot of my time sir,
It would be nice to have a vacation though

Jesus came to save us from SIN, not from failing exams or interviews, or businesses. God is able and willing to help us in everything we do though, if we involve Him. Note though that there're natural laws and standards already set for ALL. Anyone who sows corn would reap corn.

Religion / Should Christians Fail? by Azibalua(f): 11:38pm On Aug 08, 2011
It's important to know the life we have been called into as Christians,it's a life of prosperity and victory, yet we see some Christians fail in various aspects of life, even if this ought not to be
The question is why is this so? And what can be done to help the situation?

What is the ontology of the origin of God's origin? That is another big question, btw. wink
If God was created by another,he ceases to be God,because he was not created for he is the creator, the self existing one.

These 10% income robbers will stop at nothing to make sure they continue to deceive those who are gullible onto handing over 10% of their income to them. Giving tithes to pastors is worthless, the pastors are the ones receiving it and not God. The Bible tell us clearly how to give to the work of God in:
2 Corinthians 9:7
You must each decide in your heart how much to give. And don't give reluctantly or in response to pressure. "For God loves a person who gives cheerfully."

I'm sure these 10% income robbers have torn this verse out their Bible.

Tithing is not a giving, it's payment

Mr Newmi,

Not many "Non-Christians" believe in the Bible, so dont you think it is "Folly" to use that same bible to support your argument?   undecided
The bible contains the infallible word of god, whether a Christian or not this is truth.same way Jesus is the only way .

Religion / Re: Tithes - Does God Want The Tithes Of Money? by Azibalua(f): 10:26am On Aug 06, 2011
Tithing is nit a law, it is a principle, we don't give our tithes, we pay our tithes,it is gods own and does not belong to us,all Christians ought to pay their tithe.
