Ok, Buhari knew Emefiele was destroying the economy and ruining his legacy. Buhari knew he was a mole and he loved Emefiele for that. I even heard Buhari told him "Thank you my boy for ruining the Nigerian economy, I love the way you wrecked my legacy"...I believed it sha.

Tinubu also lied about Buhari because he knew Buhari would retain Emefiele and he would eventually ruin the economy with his policies which will almost ruin his own Presidential aspirations which made him excited.

How much did we have in our national reserves by then to subsidies the Dollar?

Because oil sold at $70 per barrel for a few months doesn't immediately translate to a lower exchange rate, it takes a longer time for it to reflect depending on how much you're able to stack up and make available.

Also put it mind GEJ was already borrowing to pay salaries at $65 per barrel so why are you expecting a sudden boom in the economy at $75 per barrel ??

Nigeria's present economic woes begun when Buhari started dictating exchange rates to an independent central bank because the governor lacked the backbone to tell off the president. That's why today, the official rate is 461 and black market rate is 750. The World Bank has said a differential greater than 5% is not good. The new president said he will work towards uniting the exchange rates. That basically means the fifferential will be small. It may be 630 eventually.

The Naira redesign and swap seemed to attack Tinubu but I am sure all the presidential flagbearers were affected even though Atiku claimed otherwise.

I have 2 opinions regarding the Naira redesign and swap:

1. The bullion van incident of 2019 when 2 bullion vans were seen entering Bourdillon greatly embarrassed the CBN and he wanted it checkmated. That's why Tinubu kept saying he felt the Naira swap was to target him.

2. After the outcry against him contesting, he sought revenge by depriving politicians of campaign funds through this policy.

(1) When did Buhari ever dictate exchange rate to CBN??

Dollar was already scarce due to low oil sales and low oil prices but emefiele made it worse by limiting the official sale of forex to bureau-de-change operators which gave CBN the sole power to manipulate it's availability and sale.

(2) What is CBN's business with Tinubu's money?? Did he pick up the cash directly from them like Diezani and G.E.J used to do??

(3) I agree with no 3 but he has been accused of being in cahoots with Governor Okowa who linked him with Atiku and planned the whole move to frustrate Tinubu. He did it with a political target in mind, Tinubu.

I heard Atiku promised to retain him on them winning but that one is hearsay for now.

Take it as it is, if you know how many young Yoruba boys have farms on acres in these areas seizing on these opportunities, you'll know you're sleeping.

An aspiring farmer will seize the opportunity ASAP while you guys are still claiming ancestral lands and evil forests are unavailable to outsiders.

Some parts of the southwest, middle belt and North will even give you free land to encourage you to invest your funds in their communities.

It's a way of stimulating economic activity from land and nothing else. Go to Akure, ask for the same acre and see if they won't slam price on you.

I knew something was wrong when Arise tv, Peter Obi and Atiku supported the Naira policy close to elections.

When your enemies applaud your move, be very wary. They knew it's implications on the people but they encouraged and supported it.
