Reading this thread, I noticed how the Ijaws are a major reference point. Why?? "OIL!!!!". Some people still want access to it. They fail to realize that this same Oil is the reason we're in the situation we're in today. That natural resource is a curse to the African man.

@ OP. Did u expect to walk out of the plane into New-york city? Of course things can't change so quickly as you expect it to, your write up might have some truth but its exaggerated, things aren't as hopeless as you potray it. Look, its easy to complain but what have you contributed??

Car Talk › Re: Molue Buses Rebranding For A Comeback by ba7man(m): 8:44pm On Nov 28, 2012
sammhi: Are the BRT buses not glorified Molue?. They are not better. The BRT buses are most times dirty, worn out and break down and overloaded especially the blue ones.
But because it is Lagos government buses, no one will complain
Why the exageration?? They aren't even close in terms of comparism.
Car Talk › Re: Molue Buses Rebranding For A Comeback by ba7man(m): 8:18pm On Nov 28, 2012
Rebranded Molues, that's like lipstick on pigs. Let's face it, those vehicles belong in the past not the future.

Politics › Re: A Tribute To Ojukwu: One Year Remembrance by ba7man(m): 9:24am On Nov 27, 2012
Zeus I: Every brave man lose a battle as did Napoleon, Ceasar, etc, but wins the war ultimately. And so has world powers like Rome, America, Britain etc. Personalities like Winston Churchil lost the initial battles in the WWII and never commited sucide. Yorubas avoid real confrontation as they avoid cleanliness and commits sucide as a sign of hopelessness, that was how Awo, Abiola, and all of their ancestors has been doing, dying hoplessly. Ojukwu's policy will haunt yorubas till they totally become our slaves.
Daft talk, who's slavehuh....Roadside trader lookin for slave.
Politics › Re: A Tribute To Ojukwu: One Year Remembrance by ba7man(m): 9:08am On Nov 27, 2012
kcswat: Thunder fire moderators nowner of this site for allowing bigots insult Chief Ojukwu.
1,Chief Ojukwu have never speak ill about yoruba race or even awo,
2)he fought white man who assaulted a yoruba woman at the age of 13 in Lagos, 3) he speaks yoruba language more than manyyoruba bigots here.
4). He rejected. Gowon and insisted that ayoruba man ogundipe Be made head of state but ogundipe out of fear fled. 5)He said awo is the best president nigerarea never heard. He never blame awo for betrayin him during d civilwar. So what all d hate.
Wow!!!...As a Yoruba man i wasn't aware of these actions of his. It says a lot about the person he was. But i don't get how Awo betrayed him.

Politics › Re: Lagos Sued For Proposed N500 Toll On Lekki-Ikoyi Bridge by ba7man(m): 6:31am On Nov 27, 2012
They are probably charging for not only the convenience but the beauty of the bridge. When has such project been carried out in Nigeria of recent. Well, if I can't afford the N500, I'd probably just arrange my N120 change for the Lekki-toll and enjoy the view as i drive-by, there are cheaper optional routes.

lagerwhenindoubt: you figure? most Men are potential r.apists given the time, opportunity and means
Speak for yourself. I have sisters and I'm aware that every female is someone's sister, daughter and she has loved ones. I was invited to join in a gang rape when i was young and dumb but even then, I discouraged the whole action and we let the girl go. If you have the fear of God you won't rape. To me its a turn off and it means you don't have "game" to persuade a girl to sleep with you. Can't you seduce a girlhuh

Ujoatu, the people that liked his comment and all those that agreed with him are potential rapists. #FACT# . Damn!!!...from some comments I'm also reading on this thread there are a lot of potential rapists on Nairaland.

I doubt if you really are more comfortable than Davido. Have you fully paid for a house in the UKhuh Can you afford 2 cars that cost over £50000 ( He said his Range Sports was too common in Nigeria so he bought an Audi Q7 too), can you dash out £2000?? Can you pay for an all expense trip with your friends to 3 countries around the world in a week?? If "yes", then you might just be as rich as....No!!....Your dad aint a billionaire in Nigerian currency, I "know" you aint close.
Politics › Re: Do Religious Centers Have The Power To Change Nigeria? by ba7man(m): 6:43am On Nov 26, 2012
Churches can never change Nigeria. It's only Nigerians that can change Nigeria. On my way to work. will do a write up on this interesting topic later
The people that attend these Churches are Nigerians. Churches are supposed to provide a Moral foundation for individuals but we choose to dwell on the mundane things. Who shouts d loudest "Amen", who drops the most offering, who gets to sit in front, who's closest to the Pastor, Pastors are now so rich b'cos people want to pay for blessings and they ignore spiritual development. Churches aren't the problem in this country...its the people within that are.
Politics › Re: Do Religious Centers Have The Power To Change Nigeria? by ba7man(m): 6:12am On Nov 26, 2012
A man once said that in the 70's, the only sermon that was preached in Churches was "Give your life to Christ, the end is commin soon!!!". But now there's so much information extracted from the bible, relationships, money matters, motivation, spiritual knowledge, teaching people to liberate their minds and belive. YES!!!...they have the power to change this country....If only people that attend would stop sleepin or showing off in Church and listen deeply with their hearts to what is being taught.

This would probably have been goin on for a long time but we're just finding out in d news b'cos mayb d Airport officials upped their stakes and somone refused to settle. This is obviously a Northern politician's money laundering route.

The only thing worse than having a problem is not realizing one has a problem in the first place. Ignorance is bliss.
Politics › Re: 20 Ladies Killed In Maiduguri For Wearing Mini-Skirts & Trousers? by ba7man(m): 12:25am On Nov 24, 2012
Ezeufi: Well, Im willing to give you the benefit of the doubt and educate you a little bit. I am not condoning the killing of the 20 girls if indeed that is true. What Im against here is associating any wrong doing up north with islam.

George Bush said that he was waging crusade. Tony Blair said that the decision to invade Iraq was made by God. Anders Breivik said that he is sorry with the state of sweden and europe and the are filled with muslims. All this murderers have indicated that they are killing in the name of christianity, yet no one of you condemn christianity for that. Some of you even say that christianity stoped violence 400-500 years ago.

So, when hausa man kills, islam has killed. When a crusader has killed, christianity did not kill.
Those retards you mentioned don't represent Christianity in any way. The first two want acess to Middle eastern oil and the 3rd is a psychopathic killer. They don't represent christian values.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not bashing Islam, I'v got Muslim friends but even they themselves feel bad when things like this happen in the name of their religion.

Ezeufi: That shows lack of knowledge madam. Im yet to see a verse in my book which tells me to strap a bomb on anything. In fact my book forbid killings of innocent people. And the same book orders us to fight back when attacked.
Lol!!!....They were attacked by 20 mini skirt wearing girls, right??
