1. Make friends with Yorubas in your workplace
2. Ask them meaning of words you hear repeatedly
3. Start by learning the simple ones like take, come, go, sit, eat etc

If you don't understand the point I have been trying to make oga waka. What's wrong with the name? We have other brands with name you can't even pronounce correctly,and nobody is calling them to change their name.

What about points 2 to 5? Oga, don't take things too seriously here, this is a forum where we all share diverse views. I love innoson as a Nigerian brand, I wish the brand can phase out every other brand in Nigeria.
We are all concerned because we feel Innoson should be in every corner of this country, but that is yet to happen. Someone re-designed the logo some weeks back and I'm sure if he came to Nairaland, people would talk him down and bully him. He felt the logo needs re-branding and designed one.

The reason he's like that is due to the thought that someone wants to ask him for money or some other favour.
If he sees that you guys don't send him and you're all doing very fine, he'll be the one trying to connect with you by telling you his kids wants to come for holidays.

I think innoson needs to do the following :
1. Change its name to something shorter, of 1or 2 syllables(bi). E G I-son, hero,
2. Have a show room in every part of the country especially Lagos, kaduna, Abuja.
3. Reduce the prices of cars or partner with banks and dealers to give loans or higher purchase
4. Make friends with influential people in Nigeria
5. Do more of advertising by signing celebrities to use its Cars

Dont feel Entitled to his money. He has an immediate family to feed as his top priority. The fact that he works in a multinational doesn't make him a multi millionaire.
I made a decision never to depend on any family or family friends. I trusted them for my IT placement then, but was highly disappointed.
