jullkein: you have been busy defending Buhari as if he is infallible .I wonder if you are paid to do it ,that would be understandable . Let me tell you a secret-Never defend anyone in life. The same person you defend is the onethat will kill you . Never trust anyone ,not even your mother and yourself . at the end of Buhari's tenure nothing will change . both Buhari and Jonathan and the next president after Buhari are failures . Do not put your trust in human beings . Do not say that you have the best partner or team in the world or " till death do us part" or put you trust in anyone to be loyal and faithful to you. you will learn the hard way in life. negative Nostradamus I see u but u shall b disappointed IJN. amen. |

Sweetlemon: Oh so just because dollar rate is unstable now and some criminally minded Nigerians are taking advantage of it to rip us off you claim you can't see change?
Just because PHCN is still not where we want it to be, not forgetting that last year we had the worst case ever during GEJ/PDP rule where even the biggest hotels, hospitals, telecoms companies, banks, schools, radio/TV stations, etc were shutting down due to both fuel scarcity and epileptic power supply? I remember then there wasn't even expensive fuel to buy and PHCN wasn't even flashing at all. You say you can't see change?
Just because BH are still throwing uncoordinated attacks here and there, despite the fact that they no longer release daring videos or have LGAs under them, you can't see change?
So you can't see change because Buhari has been "junketing" around the place since he became President? You are not aware that OBJ also did a lot of international relations and got total debt relief as a result? You are not aware that since Buhari came in African countries have shown a lot more respect to Nigeria? Look at big foreign firms now bowing to FG pressue and paying up fines or compensating customers. Look at the respect WA countries are now according us, we used to have ordinary Egypt, Morocco calling our bluff during GEJ, now can they dare?? Haven't we seen Buhari take prominence in very critical world issues during his numerous trips? Hasn't USA now agreed to send troops to us and even sell us weapons? Now we are seeing Buhari strengthen ties with the biggest players in the oil business. Now tell me all the junketing is a waste! You still can't see the change?
When was the last time you heard of ear-bursting sums of money disappearing? When was the last time looters like Dasuki and Moro (who held sensitive positions during GEJ despite their mind-bogging criminally-natured looting that caused the deaths of thousands of people) been sent to jail like the common criminals that they are?? Don't you think it's a good sign for future public officers that they too could go to jail if they don't handle our national wealth with the fear of God? Are you still looking for the change?
The FG has banned a list of commodities to be imported into the country and will still ban more. Does that not give hopes of a better economy ahead if we Nigerians can just play our own part? Usually the Nigerian customs generates over Billions of Naira every year but remitting only a paltry sum to the FG. but For the first time, in the seven months of Buhari's administration, Nigeria Customs is said to have generated N903billion and the new Comptroller-General, Hamid Ali, remitted all the N903billion. Please tell me that is not a perfect way of setting a new record for future Comptroller-Generals! Are you still looking for the change?
So just because you're not yet seeing roads being done, and other big FG projects being executed, forgetting that Buhari is yet to implement his first budget, you can't see change? Be patient Nigerians! The projects will soon start rolling in when Baba has done enough ground work. Before moving into a new house, you first of all clean it up. I know we are still largely in pains, but try put on a pair on binoculars and see that the future is bright ahead.
God bless The Federal Republic Of Nigeria! Never knew lemon could b sweeter than melon.......I can't even hug sweet u cos u are just too hot! u pass trinocular s..... ipobicide! yeeeeee! |

The picture depiction are also misleading, the completed picture is somewhere around gwagwalada while the before picture looks like Okene (not 100% sure) which by the way still looks exactly like the picture. last weekend my driver bringing birds from Ibadan to Abuja nearly ran mad cause of the pain he suffered from okene to Lokoja express road . the road is hell on earth n whoever says that Abuja - Lokoja is completed is a bastad liar ! so no one should b surprised dt Okupe who has no qualms about speaking untruths is at his game again. |

like an economy prophet the former CBN governor had warned of serious economic crisis beyond the 2015 elections . Let Daily post be our guide:
Soludo, in his new article, released on Sunday, said if the prices of crude oil in the international market failed to rebound, Nigeria would face an unprecedented level of economic crisis with horrible attendant hardships for the citizenry. “Our public finance is haemorrhaging to the point that estimated over N30tn is missing, or stolen, or unaccounted for, or simply mismanaged,” the former CBN governor stressed. In the piece entitled, ‘Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala and the missing trillions’, Soludo said the sharp decline in the naira-dollar exchange rate from 158 a few months ago to 215 currently showed that trouble was already at the doorstep. He added that “unless oil price recovers, this is just the beginning,” adding, “For the sake of Nigeria, I won’t keep quiet anymore!” “Part of my frustration is that five years after, everything I warned about has come to happen and we are conducting our campaigns as if we are not in a crisis. As a concerned Nigerian, I have a duty to speak out again,” he said. The former Ananmbra State guber aspirant, who x-rayed, how N30tn allegedly stolen under Okonjo- Iweala’s watch, said, “Under you as the Minister of Finance and coordinator of the economy, the basket of our national treasury is leaking profusely from all sides. Just a few illustrations! First, you admit that ‘oil theft’ has reduced oil output from the average 2.3 – 2.4 million barrels per day to 1.95 mpd (meaning that at least 350,000 to 450,000 barrels per day are being ‘stolen’). On the average of 400,000 per day and the oil prices over the past four years, it comes to about $60bn ‘stolen’ in just four years. “In today’s exchange rate, that is about N12.6tn. This is at a time of cessation of crisis in the Niger Delta and the amnesty programme. Can you tell Nigerians how much the amnesty programme costs, and also the annual cost for ‘protecting’ the pipelines and security of oil wells? And the ‘thieves’ are spirits? “Secondly, my earlier article stated that the minimum forex reserves should have been at least $90bn by now and you did not challenge it. Rather, it is about $30bn, meaning that gross mismanagement has denied the country some $60bn or another N12.6tn. Now, add the ‘missing’ $ 20bn from the NNPC. You promised a forensic audit report ‘soon’, and more than a year later, the report itself is still ‘missing’. This is over N4tn, and we don’t know how much more has ‘missed’ since Sanusi cried out. “How many trillions of naira were paid for oil subsidy (unappropriated?). How many trillions (in actual fact) have been ‘lost’ through customs duty waivers over the last four years? As coordinator of the economy, can you tell Nigerians why the price of Automotive Gas Oil, popularly called diesel, has still not come down despite the crash in global crude oil prices, and how much is being appropriated by friends in the process? “Be honest: Do you really know (as coordinator and minister of finance) how many trillions of naira self- financing government agencies earn and spend? I have a long list but let me wait for now. I do not want to talk about other ‘black pots’ that impinge on national security.” Soludo added, dailypost.ng/2015/02/02/soludo-blasts-okonjo-iweala-claims-n30tn-stolen-watch/ |

The Vanguard article above most probably written by Adeyanju Deji? suggested in his conclusion, after tactically putting the blame of our present economic mess at the door steps of PMB's policies while at same time exonerating the real culprits - rogues in government and bad administration s ,that rational economics be practised. Whatever that means, why wasn't it practised by their administration for six years while they held sway? The answer is simple : they lack character. A rational or whatever economics without character is useless. Nigerians sacked the PDP last year for its lack of character. All over the globe leaders with strong characters have helped their nation out of socioeconomic abyss- Ghandi, Lee kwan Yong, Nyerere, Mandela, Abe Linc etc PMB's over -50 -years- untainted- loyalty to the Nigerian state earned our trusts to lead again the most populous black nation on earth to glory when we willingly submitted our sovereignties to him during the 2015 elections. It was clear that our major problem - corruption was his headache too unlike the PDP administrations that were madly in love with it. It doesn't take eternity to fix an economy but when the managers of such economies lack character, eternity may not be enough. Eminent Nigerians who could no longer bear the profligacy of the GEJ administration started going public to warn us of impending economic hurdles the country would find herself especially with the crash in the international market prices of crude oil- our main source of revenue. For example, Hear Soludo in one of the media wars with GEJ's coordinating minister of the economy and minister of finance, Ngozi Okonjo Iweala, last year: “Buhari Vs Jonathan: Beyond the Elections”; and (2) “Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala and the Missing Trillions”. In particular, I insist that over N30 trillion has either been stolen or unaccounted for, or grossly mismanaged over the last few years. This figure does not include the estimated $40.9 billion (N8.6 trillion at parallel market exchange rate or nearly two years’ Federal Government budget) which the African Union’s (AU) recent report claims to be “stolen” from Nigeria each year. www.bellanaija.com/2015/02/soludo-claps-back-at-okonjo-iweala-again-alleges-additional-n8-6-trillion-missing/ |
