Rochas is selfish. It is a team that makes a party but Rocjas killed the team spirit when he could extend the power influence to other members of the political team but insisted on his son Inlaw only. The party leaders who have always stood behind and by him begged him to see the impending political storm in IMO if he won't think twice about his 3rd term ambition through his son Inlaw Nwosu ,that many of his cabinet members and APC chiefs in IMO prefer Nzodinma or any other imolite to okorocha again in the person of Nwosu but Anayo was recalcitrant. It became so bad that under Oyegun especially few weeks before the APC convention in 2018, Okorocha had lost the party structure before Oshiomole gave it back to him on a platter with the caveat that he should either support Hope or shop for another candidate but Nwosu . Okorocha played God and landed in political ditch. Do you know the far implications of his selfish actions on himself,the party and the country? Only Okorocha can save Okorocha, and I don't think he is even sobber enough yet.

The work Okorocha has done in IMO is monumental but for being blind and selfishly stubborn he is throwing everything in the ditch. I mean everything including the high prospect of becoming president in 2023. I'm not just happy with Rochas for being so shortsighted.

Really?Apart from clearing the stinking mess Lagos was for any meaningful foundation to be laid subsequently and for which he has always been available to nurture till date, Tinubu's vision of a better Lagos as a workable model for the nation ,and the passion in the strategies to achieving it is what is still playing out in Lagos. Who knew Fashola until Tinubu stuck his political neck out to present him? Truth is From Osinbajo, Akabueze, Fayemi ,Ambode and several others, Tinubu provided the sane environment to showcase themselves. There is something in him that identifies and encourages good credentials. From generating huge IGR that PDP green with envy and yellow with hatred;advocating for political autonomy to the people through the local government, supporting the Independent power project which truly liberates the power sector , to resource management for the benefit of the host community which is making the Niger Delta relatively calm in recent times, and others too numerous to mention for now the awesome contributions of the political deity called Tinubu to the nation's march to development cannot be overlooked.

Very interesting and informative write-up. I too share your disapproval of Islamic radicals, and all religious extremists.

However I don't see why you should stop being sympathetic for the loss of innocent lives simply because they happen to be of the same religious affiliation of the extremists on another side of the world.

You forget that Christianity wasn't always a religion of peace, and if christians weren't always choosing parts of the bible they want to follow, it would still be a violent religion.

I see no difference between the god of Islam and the god of the Torah/Old testament. Abraham was willingly going to kill his son simply because his god told him to. So hows that any different from what BH and ISIS are doing. So if you can say Christianity is a religion of peace, then so can moslems.

So many atrocities have been committed in the name of religion, not just Islam and Christianity but others too. The common denominator here is religion. IF we solve that problem, everything else will fall into place.

bitter truth. once told a guy who authoritatively said Muslims would go to hell because of sharia to shut up! Moses ,long before Christ, practised Sharia e.g by instituting the stoning of women caught in adultery but claimed it was from God . Only God knows how many had suffered that painful injustice before Christ came and diplomatically denied it by the ' let he without sin be the first to cast the stone' caveat.

If God could wait and send Christ to correct the decades long sharia , then he can also wait to 'save' Islam at his own time which makes any human judgements or conclusions invalid.
