This man would have been a disaster to the Nigerian Army had he not been dismissed. Now he wants forgiveness...smh! |
Well deserved! ![]() Nigeria government has been seeing these boys for years, yet they are not recognized nor sponsored. |
AtikuIsSure:How do you know an account has been banned ? |
radautoworks:Yes ma. |
radautoworks:Oh okay. Now I understand your pricing better. 2004 Honda Accord |
radautoworks:Please don’t get me wrong ma. Some people are used to the Kazeem way and may find it a bit hard to pay 5k per hour. Let’s say a repair will take upto 3/4 hours that’s 15-20k on service charge alone. The last time I was at Oyingbo to fix steering rack and some other stuffs, the guy started working on my car around 9am, he finished around 3pm, that’s about 6hours, I only paid 8k for workmanship. Good thing about your place is that it won’t take that long to have everything I did there done. You have enough hands and power tools to make the job easy. Might not even be upto two hours if all the parts are readily available. ![]() |
sportFX:Affordable is relative |
waks1:RadAutoworks... You can visit them for diagnosis and go fix somewhere else if you can’t afford their service charge (no offense pls). Diagnosis is less than 3k |
mabeni:Better! As for your transmission, some symptoms don’t manifest when the tranny is still cold or yet to reach its optimum operating temperature. If you experience same symptoms again today after extensive driving, know that it’s time for you to visit a transmission expert for proper diagnosis. Meanwhile run away from that mechanic that told you to use HOLTS in your tranny. Gracias |
mabeni:Did you find the cause of the oil leak? Or you just replaced belt and ignored the leakage? |
mabeni:Wrong oil |
mabeni:Which oil did you use? |

He further said any App company that has done the needful should give their drivers a Tag which will be provided by the government based on the number of their drivers on government API.* *_Question: Concerning the 10% commission that will be charged by the government, will this not add to the suffering the e-hailing drivers are already going through?_* *Answer: The government official detailed the explanation. He said the government will charge 10% commission NOT from drivers, but from whatever commission the App companies is charging their operators (Drivers). For instance;* *If a trip is #1000 and the App Company charges 20% on it, that mean the App company has taken #200 as their commission on that trip! The government will then charge the App company 10% out of that #200 commission. That means the government's commission will be #20.* *_Question: Why will the government charge the App Companies commission?_* *Answer: The government has put in place an enabling environment for the App companies and their operators to carry out their businesses. Such amenities includes:* *1. Good road system* *2. Street lights* *3. Safety and security* *4. Emergency services.* *The government representative further stated that if the App companies can charge their operators 20% from their earnings, then the government is justify to charge the App companies too for making use of government infrastructural amenities in the state.* *_Question: What can be done since the giant App companies are absent in the meeting?_* *Answer:* *The government stated emphatically that there is no Giants or small players here, everyone is Equal and will be treated the same. Arrived!* *He was briefed on what has being discussed so far and he took over chairmanship of the meeting.* *He said he is not surprised that the so called giant App Companies (UberBolt) are not in attendance, because they have never seen the government as a serious entity in the Past. Frantically speaking, the government is now ready for Full Enforcement. And the government is not going to be at their mercy. He also warned the Director of VIO not to circumvent the enforcement.* *_Question: Can the government not find a means to shutdown the defaulting App companies instead of using physical enforcement on the Operators (Drivers)?_* *Answer:* *Drivers should stop enslaving themselves under Uber and Bolt. Because for government to recognize any App in the State from now on, such App should be able to submit their Drivers(Operators) details to the government, and as we speak, Uberbolt has not done these! Meaning that they are not yet recognized. The government will use both technology and physical Enforcement on any violators of these Guidelines.* *The President of PEDPA, Comrade Idris Shonuga Oluwaseun commented saying he frown strongly at the way some government officials addressing Uberbolt as a big player, when in actual sense the so called Uberbolt have taken the industry to 17 years of straight backwardness. Comrade Idris Shonuga Oluwaseun further emphasized that as a result of Uberbolt inability to comply with government REGULATIVE guidelines, that led the Vehichle Inspection Officers (VIO) to be empounding the cars of e-hailing drivers before PEDPA stepped in to address the issue!* *Speaking further, Comrade Idris emphasized and demand to know what the government plan to do about price regulation, which has led the industry into backward position. He further stated that the regulations should not only be centred around revenue collection, but also putting adequate mechanism in place to ensure satefy and security as well as moving the industry forward from the present backward position* *He further elaborated on irregularities of these App companies and recommended that the government put adequate measures in place to protect the interest of the OPERATORS, who are NIGERIANS youths that has choosing driving as a means of sustainance, due to high unemployment rate in the country. Most importantly, the E-hailing drivers partners have United under the umbrella body of PEDPA and we Have MYKAB as our TECHNOLOGICAL TOOL to restore the glory of E-hailing industry* *Buttressing on that, the SA, Strongly Advise the E-hailing Drivers should fall under one umbrella Body, for us to be strong enough to protect the interest our services on any E-HAILING platfroms. He also lay emphasis on appropriate profiling of E-hailing operators to ensure adequate security measures in the state* *Mention was made about how many association in existence at the moment. PEDPA was then INTRODUCED as a National Association* *An Observation was raised by Mykab representative. He refuted the the public illusion about the so called supper powers, saying that we Indigenous can also do better than them if we cooperate with ourselves* *He also ask the government REPRESENTATIVES on what are they giving back to the App companies that will comply with these Regulations guidelines.* *The SA responded by saying that the Government will definitely give back to any App company that comply with the Lagos state government regulations business sustainability, enabling environment and friendly government policies for the business to thrive. Expanciating on the need for App Company to carry their Drivers along through their Union before starting their Operations.* *Speaking further he said, drivers should endeavors to ask questions from any app companies they intend to render their taxi service. if such companies have really acquired necessary operation license from Lagos State government* *_Question: Can drivers come directly to the government for all these requirements._* *Answer: Yes! government will give such driver documents based on what he want to do with his Car, if it's normal taxi, driver will have to paint the car to Lagos State Color, with a Red number Plate, in short everything about the car will be commercialised.* *Speaking further he said, the Government will not short changed anyone in this regulative process. Anyone using a private car for Commercial purpose is at his own risk except if it has to be through the App Company.* *The meeting was brought to a close by the SA in the Absence of further questions!* *Thank you All.* |

ndubuis:Few days before Sallah, I did a delivery (diffuser) from Alpha beach road to the last estate on Chevron drive, I asked sender who is paying, she said the receiver. Got to destination, asked receiver to pay before I hand over the package. Guy said “shey you they whine me ni”... I told him to sort himself out with the sender because I’m not going to drop the package unless I get my money. The babe later did transferred, meanwhile the guy was already shouting, saying all sorts of words. I remained in my car with doors locked while refreshing my bank app, when I confirmed payment..rolled down the glass and gave him his property before I waka. |
toomush:No lie. I’ve been feeling really down these days. Can’t even sit for long without my Butt paining me. What has been saving me is the heated seat in my car, it helps massage my back and butt. Bolt decided to block me again for one week on Thursday for passenger not showing up. I go just lock up make I use the period rest. Fortunately for me, while I was going home that Thursday evening thinking of how to survive the one week of been idle, I got a call from one girl I picked earlier from Novare mall to Diamond estate. She wanted me to take her to the Airport on Friday morning around 5, we agreed on 6k. Immediately after that call, my friend from Abk called me for a car delivery to Abeokuta. I they Abk like this they relax. |
ndubuis: Putting this scenario into perspective. God bless BOLT for this feature sha. Me I no they accept them.Meanwhile, on Sallah day, at the COB I set destination to Sangotedo, I was on Buordillon road, all the request coming in was from Admiralty area meaning I have to go through the bridge (Ikoyi toll gate) to get them. I would tell them where I am and my terms for coming (they have to add my toll gate fare to the total fare). They all declined asides from one old woman. I called the number on the app, the lady said she ordered for her Mom, okay, She sent the woman phone number and I got to know that it’s a delivery. Okay now. I got to the pick up, they packed jollof rice and plenty chicken for to deliver to Lekki County homes. I collected the package, started trip and proceeded to destination. Note: I didn’t call the old woman I’m delivering to since she already gave me instructions before leaving Ikoyi. The real drama... The moment I hit Lekki-Epe Exp the woman called, Madam: Hello where are you? Me: I am already on my way to your place, I just got to the express from Admiralty way. Madam: What do you mean? You mean you have taken the package without taking pictures of it and sending to me before leaving the place? Me: I don’t understand you ma. Madam: You are supposed to take pictures, send to me so I can confirm before you leave there. Me: Oh really, Madam: Yes, I’ve been using Taxify for years and they all do this Me: I’m sorry ma, I am not a delivery driver , I’m doing this trip because it’s along my destination. I will call you when I’m approaching your estate. Drops call sharp sharp
