@aguyemd with this your big grammer, one would wonder why u didnt study law grin

The crisis Delta is giving me concerns too, and i know a whole lot of other people feel d same way, from what i read in the papers, the soldiers would soon conclude their assgnt there. As we speak sha, Warri township is peaceful,

Concerning the document we signed,,, its kind of strange , but like u said, they're probably trying to shield themselves from litigation. But if what the nurses during my meds said is anything to hold on to, then doing ur med is as good as u gettin in,

We gat to continue praying, those waiting for offer letters and those waiting for medical call ups,

@Med hopefuls, keep praying, if u browse through the log on this thread u'll find dat some people got their medicals after some of their colleagues had collected offer letters, There's nothing God cannot do, Like someone had earlier mentioned, God can influence the most influential of the bosses in th HR department in your favour

@Jisolar Mar,,, congrats on d conclusion of ur med, did u pick up any gist on when offer letters are likely to start flying, any info on the notherners stuff some people have been talking about,

[quote ]@Uduak_Mot  well spoken, i'm almost getting apprehensive over the military onslaught in delta state at the moment,  I made a call to a friend who works in warri about 2days ago and he told me dat warri was relatively calm, dont forget dat the fighting is not really in warri township, never the less, its a course for concern, But i believe God is in control,

It's in shell's interest to start the SITP.  They've laid off so many staff and they've committed some money into the recruitment excersise already, dont also forget that the SITP program is jointly funded by Shell and its JV partners, so a lot is at stake,

God de, @ Uduak_Mot i guess ur one of the secret disciples of this forum, don't behave like Nicodemus who never came back, hope u'll stay with the forum grin

@nkenke congrats on ur meds, and also the timely info,

@edoblakky, i can understand how u feel, given the fact dat u were in the game for the SRD of 2008, I'm sure nkenke's story will strengthen ur faith, it wont be like last year , this year is your year man(by the grace of God), u don try,

@others still waiting, calm down and pray, u need ur bp to be normal, its quite important, just wait patiently, if SITP starts in july like i hear, then there's still more time for medicals,

wutz of guys, To all those still waiting for medic letters, I think there's strong reason to be hopeful, tomorrow will mark exactly 7 days after the first batch of medical letters were sent, My gut feelings tell me, the second round of 7days will begin tomorrow the 12th for second batch of medical letters,

I'm usually not bothered about the number of people they want to take because I believe that even if they want to take only 20, our names go join!!!
So, dude, claim it o!!!!

opensesame:
Speaking of which, sorry for taking us back, but does anyone know how many people did the test!
I have always wondered, partly due to plain curiosity and partly to REALLY APPRECIATE God's blessing in my life (not that I don't over-appreciate him of course).
If you consider the fact that the test was written in at least 3 centres. Also, it took at least 3 days per center for the conduct of the test, I would estimate that at least about 4500 people wrote the shell test. I guess a lot of people did the SRD too, i'd estimate 600 or thereabout,

My problem however is how many people do they want to take, I heard that 80 engineers were taken last year. I dont know how many non engineers,

it is still d same thing it is showing since dat time

Another info is those guys who said they received letters 4 meds. dont mind them, shell never start send msg for meds, i investiated it yesterday, na only unsuccessful mails dem dey send since tue blive me though in batches

Well , what i can say is if it was useless it wont be on their site, by the way my status changed from shortlisted to Final assessment, so im wondering if its d same status for those dat av gotten their medical callups, I must admit however, that the status thing is not really realtime, meaning it takes a while b4 they change it,
