John Obi Mikel not good enough at the highest level John Obi Mikel rose to prominence at the same U17 World Cup as one Lionel Messi as an attacking midfielder. It is a position he still occupies when he represents Nigeria. Mikel was converted to a holding midfielder by Jose Mourinho and it is a role he undertakes with diligence – Guus Hiddink is a huge admirer. However, at the highest level - and a Champions League fixture against PSG is said level – he falls short as a holding midfielder. Chelsea badly missed the presence of Nemanja Matic on Tuesday. His return for the second leg could prove crucial as Chelsea attempt to make the quarter-final stage.

mourihno destroyed Mikel ,but u can see changes in his games under this new manager .I have always known Mikel to be a game killer ,he doesn't push attacks ,u give him pass at the midfield and he sends it back to the keeper,but now he gives accurate passes,opens up to receive passes and even tries to score. Under hiddink I think we are going to see more of Mikel.I rest my case

Governor Akinwunmi Ambode has taken his Light Up Lagos Project to the next level, the roads which are currently bright and beautiful at night include M.K.O Abiola Garden inwards Oworoshoki, Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, Independent Tunnel, Ikorodu Road, Maryland inwards Ojota, Ikorodu Road and many more roads across the state.

With this initiative from the governor, life and property will be greatly secured at night.

I'M SURE THESE ROADS WON'T REJECT REHABILITATION IF OFFERED TO THEM.

Most Nigerians will agree with me that among the current ministers,Fashola is one that that stands out and with him in this current cabinet, a lot of us have great optimism that at least he will deliver.
In fact, Buhari's exclusive trust and believe in him made him to attach a combination of portfolios to him,believing that once he can deliver, then his administration would receive a lot of applause. It is worth mentioning that Fashola's success can earn Buhari a return ticket.

However,the recent increase in electricity tariff is not only shocking,but heart rending.
What went wrong?who advice him?who has brainwashed our guy? is there something at the presidency that makes people with good intention to begin to think upside down? Would Fashola in his smart reasoning ability have taken this, if it has been proposed in the last administration?does it make sense at all?
How on earth will the government increase Tariff for no light?are we not already paying more than what we get?Why don't the tell us that once we start receiving light on an average of 12 hours per day,then the Tariff of that area,region or Zone will be increased.?

Something has gone wrong!If even Fashola can confidently think like this,then we need an emergency prayer.






They should deliver service first before increasing Tariff. We are currently paying more than we are getting.And yet they are forcing us to pay more again for a futuristic promise. We need to occupy Nigeria for this.

It is indisputable that Oba is a titular position and belongs to Yoruba culture, not Benin.

So why is King of Benin a titular Omo n'Oba (the descendant of Oba), can the Benin palace give us clarity on this?
