In as much as I have my own candid opinion,i noticed that other people`s opinion differs.
I personally think that an elected senator is more powerful than an appointed minister(with all things being equal) but also I figured out that here in Nigeria, things are somehow different with regards to a minister having more than one portfolios.

Good decision by the APC by not conducting fresh primaries as that would have improved the PDP's case in court.

He was the 2nd runner up in the primaries and by retaining Faleke on the ticket, can lay claim to the votes already accrued to that ticket.

Faleke has a strong case too. He should head the ticket in an ideal situation. However it would be best to withdraw his case in court and take one for the team to consolidate his political capital for future use.

APC have just confirmed that there is no need for deputy Governor and from their own position of reasoning, deputy governor candidate add no value to outcome of elections. They should at best conduct a new primary or appoint a replacement from Audu's caucasus.

APC has made a mistake. Coming second at the first primaries doesn't guarantee he will be most popular now. If APC doesn't want to vote again, the best i think they could have done is to give the ticket to Faleke, then nominate a kin/tribe of Audu as the deputy governor
