The Ambassador really crossed the line of Diplomatic Etiquette. There is a distinct difference between delivering an official report and outrightly insulting not just Trump, but an entire Administration of a strong ally like the United States. Such should have come from Iranian Ambassador and never from UK Ambassador.

Ofcourse, he is free to mock/insult Trump and his administration amongst his friends and other colleagues privately but simple decorum should have prevented him from delivering such as an official communication.

Meanwhile, those words Trump used on him were really not an insult, they are facts. Especially, the word "wacky". Seriously, which Ambassador delivers report on a Strong Ally in such demeaning way?
