Oh i see. Okay i got your sentimental view of the topic. Madam becoz nollywood na we get am ,abi?
No be "na we get am" talk. Like I said:

"Nollywood is actually more realistic than Hollywood . The only thing is execution-wise, Hollywood has the resources needed to "reinforce" the "fakeness".

yorke:
Hey, for u to say u know what will transpire in 95% of hollywood movies by mere seeing the trailers is far-fetched.
You never jam. Well, it's very true. Why shouldn't it be the truth? Do you watch Hollywood movies atall?

Haha babe, Some of those 'nna mehn' guys can be quite charming,
Check on youtube for a warri accent i'm sure you will change your mind, Or i will post one when i get home!
Quite Sharming indeed. grin Change my mind gini? I think not.

Are those warri guys speaking English or pidgin? If it's the latter, then that's ok. I wouldn't even consider it as an accent.

But, if it's the former; warri accent in English, then it's a NO. It sounds whakitty whack.
RomanceRe: Hottest Nigerian Accents by BABE3: 8:49pm On Nov 01, 2011
The answer is NONE! Listening to a man with a thick Igbotic accent speak English is not hot.

"I'm Peter, I'm Paul. And togeydah, we are P Squay." <--- Hot not. lol

We always DESIRE a "Bad Girl" level of Exposure as wife/house material and at the same time want a "Good Girl" with no sexually promiscuous past i.e. Clean babe. Its NOT possible.

Lets face the TRUTH.

I'm out,

I disagree with all my heart. Pls come back.

What do you mean by a "bad girl level of exposure"? Do you mean her skills in bed?  She's a "bad girl" doesn't mean she's good in bed  o--

If you did it before the pregnancy then you can handle it. I still worked my regular job until a week before my son was born. It was a very stressful job and I was on my feet sometimes 10 hours a day. I did not change anything until towards the end when I started wearing my uggs because I was swollen and not resting enough. If you did not wear heels before your pregnancy then why should you wear it when you are pregnant. To be honest I never even thought that maybe I might trip and fall. I just kept doing things as normal
Hmm-- I like the spirit! lol

Outstrip:
I am happy you are happy for me. Now I can go celebrate grin

Tell me this is a joke. Realistic in what sense? In all ramifications HOLLYWOOD is far better than Nollywood. That explains why they are the best. Is it not the same Nollywood you know what transpires in most of their films before you even start watching by mere looking at the bill.
I never said Hollywood wasn't better. Realistic in the sense that you can relate to the stories --lol.
Errm Sir, mere seeing the trailers, I know what will transpire (95% of the time) in Hollywood movies.

Hope this thread doesn't change to a 'Is there a God' thread, we're on the borders now,
It shouldn't. The topic is "Can we change our destiny?", not "Do you believe in destiny?"
FashionRe: High Heels: How High Can You Go? by BABE3: 3:38pm On Nov 01, 2011
^^Simple enough. Lower Back Pain.

Wearing heels can affect your posture and put a strain on your spine/lower back. That's why they're never comfortable; you're hurting your body by wearing them.

When you're pregnant, you need your lower back on it's best behavior. lol. The baby is already putting enough strain, so the last thing you need is an already existing strain caused by wearing 10'heels prior the pregnancy.

I wear high heels a lot, I go from 5 to 6 inches and I walk around in them. Some say this is not healthy, especially when pregnancy comes. Is this true huh
Forget health issues sef. Wearing heels while pregnant is quite dangerous. The chances of you tripping and falling is increased when you walk in heels; high heels.
Lols. . .so what makes you think we arent similar to the i-robot thingy. Robot by definition means a machine capable of carrying out complex series of actions automatically as programmed by a designer.

Now tell me, what makes you think Man is any different from this robot carrying out complex series of actions. Robots are made of metals {not all though} and Man made of clay, robots function by the codes in them, Man(christian or sinner) functions by the breathe of God. . . are we then any different?

P.S Genesis 2:7 says the clay was called a MAN before the breathe came into him. . . meaning the breathe did not make the clay become a MAN rather the clay was a MAN before the breathe. Just like robots are robots before the code thingy. . . understand? wink grin grin grin

Humans are just too afraid to admit the truth! I understand, its a nAtUrAl thingy! grin grin grin grin grin
What's making you laugh, and why are you shinning teeth and winking? lol.

Errrm sweerat, let's get one thing straight. The divine script/robot theory is your theory; it's what you believe. That doesn't make it the truth.

There's nothing to be afraid to admit. I wouldn't mind the idea of God controlling my every move. Who am I to complain?

What does your reference to Gen 2:7 have to do with being a robot? God made the shape of a man from clay and his breath made it a living being----how is that a robotic reference?

Anyways, God is powerful and far too kind. He has good plans for everyone. He gave those chickens in Eden freewill and that messed his plans up. That caused a chain reaction till he had to bring his son to the world. Bringing his son solved parts of the "problem" (like Noah's ark) and It proved something; he loves us.

Through all these BS he still proves that he's God. That's the joyful part.  cheesy
The word 'robot' on the issue of 'destiny' has been bastardized by many. As far as i see and understand man in the scheme of divinity we are nothing more than robots. . .yes robots with ability to take decisions and choices that IMO still add up to the 'divine script'.
I disagree. We are not robots. I don't think you know what a robot is. lol. Im not talking about the robots from the movie "I robot", I'm talking about robots that are totally controlled. They have no power to do their own will.

If robots can make their decisions, then that defeats the whole purpose of them being robots.

So in short, you think everything to going according to God's plan/script? The world as it is now is God's initial plan?
Christianity EtcRe: Can We Change Our Destiny? by BABE3: 1:59pm On Nov 01, 2011
^^ Exactly. I wouldn't know what his real/true destiny/fate is. But if being great is his destiny, you'll agree with me that he changed his destiny all by himself.
Christianity EtcRe: Can We Change Our Destiny? by BABE3: 1:53pm On Nov 01, 2011

Lol, So Mr. A's actions were more influential than his supposed 'destiny'. If destiny were real, he would survive and get on with his life.
I don't know if destiny is real or not. However, I know we, as humans can make choices. God gave us that freedom/liberty. He could have made robots instead of the first man and woman, and controlled them to do his will. BUT, he didn't. You're not forced to live according to his will and plan. He can force you, but he chooses not to.

So yh, I believe if destiny is real, we can change it.

Man-the-changer: Pls explain?
Jeez-- grin Aight.

Mr. A is destined to be great--like super, duper, great; President-great. That's "God's plan" for his life.

Mr. A got into the high school/University and rolled with the wrong people. As a result of that, he deviated from his christian ways, and became a hardcore alcoholic.

Mr. A is got hit by a car due to his drunk state, and died.

We clear?
Christianity EtcRe: Can We Change Our Destiny? by BABE3: 1:32pm On Nov 01, 2011
If there really is something called "destiny" then;

I believe it can be changed by two means; "God/some form of higher authority" and "the individual".

God is a changeable changer, so yh, he can bring himself to change his plans for us. He's that powerful.

An individual can change his destiny by himself. (that's self-explanatory).

I used to be a huge fan (I'm still a fan) of WWE/Monday Night Raw. The older I grew, the more obvious it became that the whole shebang is staged, so I hardly watch it anymore. Plus, SnowWhite Sheamus is now in the "spotlight"-----and I don't like seeing his face.

Real Pain though-- Real Injuries--Real flyKicks-- Real "attitude adjustment"-- lol.
