Politics › Re: Security Beefed-Up In The North Over Movie On Prophet Mohammed by babestella: 10:16pm On Sep 12, 2012
If Islam is a religion of peace, I can see it is quite the opposite, they are just all terrorist. Big time terrorist. Cowards. What are the northeners waiting for now, they should also take to the streets of Kano, sokoto, Abuja and see what will be left of them when the confront the security agents. What happened in Libya, Denmark, Iraq, etc easily sparks off violence in Nigeria. It is a pity and a big shame on the followership of mohammed. Islam is not a religion, it is just a blood thirst club run by mad men who claim to known God. Even if mohammed was a true prophet, must people be killed because he was called some sort of names?

there are laptops sold for up to 400K bro. Visit any apple shop and ask for different config, you'll be shocked. You asked what country makes the best laptop, and i assumed you actually want the best laptop made in those countries like USA, JAPAN, or Canada. not china.

What is the source of the story? How did Samsung count the coins to ensure it is complete. The same time, money, manpower and resources that will be spent by apple in counting the coins has already been by Samsung too. They also have to spend resources to count the coins and ensure it is complete. Cunny man die cunny man bury am.
what fact are u facing, have we not experienced cross fire also in the bank premises, around the bank and point of delivery of money. Pls that does not justify disobeying traffic. And for your information most of lagos traffic probs is lack of discipling and impatient driving. it does occur here at Abuja, until someone deems it fit to come down and direct traffic. But in lagos even if someone volunteer the people wont obey unless u treat them in an harsh manner. I notices this at my first visit to lagos around berger, they wont wait for themselves, everybody wants to pass the a tiny road at the same time. I came down to direct traffic cos of my experience in abuja but they wont obey, until an army officer came down to joint me and start using is belt on some of the danfo drivers. so pls it more of indiscipline that makes most of lagos road traffic.
WHY do robber go to banks? Because they are sure to cart away millions, say money attracts them to bullion vans. If the economy fully goes cashless, then we will not need bullion vans around us that much.
Car Talk › Re: New Lagos Traffic-Law Catches First-Victim - Bullion Van Driver by babestella: 10:11am On Aug 30, 2012
seanswitch: Even though the one year jail term for traffic offenders sound draconian, I must confess the attitude of some drivers warrant this draconian laws. How on earth will some1 drive against traffic because he's in a hurry or because he doesn't want to be robbed. If banks cant cope with Lagos traffic, I think they should make use of Helicopters.
Very good thought, I think it should be legistilated and passed to law, no ore bullion vans in Lagos state.
Car Talk › Re: New Lagos Traffic-Law Catches First-Victim - Bullion Van Driver by babestella: 9:49am On Aug 30, 2012
kunletiwoo: Regardless of the life of people using the pedestrian? Between LIFE and MONEY which one is more IMPORTANT to you?
Life of course is far more important. With proper safety measures put in place in bullion van, the risk of losing any life can be averted. It is more deadlier having bullion van being robbed in a traffic. More people are bound to lose their life. After all, it didn't start today, bullion vans have always ran one way, how many lives have been lost, though few accidents may be recorded no doubt, but how many lives are lost. The point is this, the only solution is to have good roads, and road network. By so doing, you don't have to bypass traffic or run one way, because you know that even though you are in traffic, you'll soon be out of it, so the urge to take one way for whatever obvious reasons will not come to play.

We talk about traffic law, what happens when a part of the state is totally shut down just because a politician is in town, does the traffic law apply too?
Car Talk › Re: New Lagos Traffic-Law Catches First-Victim - Bullion Van Driver by babestella: 9:25am On Aug 30, 2012
profola2be: please, tell us how it is in advance country.
if it were in advanced country, them born you well make you because of traffic go follow ONE WAY?
you talk as if no one has ever been to an advance country before.
go try am for UK and come and give us feedback.
I wonder why people come here to tell us how it is done in UK and USA. It is ok to copy what is done there as we see it as the right thing to do, but where in UK or NY do you stay in a hopeless traffic for 3 hours unless there is a natural disaster, we are talking about Lagos where a journey that should ordinarily take you less than 15 minutes now takes you more than 3 hours to make, and you are asking us how it is done in UK. Have you asked the government to provide good roads and convenient alternative routes, just like it is in UK and NY. So there naturally will be no need to run one way and when that continues for a decade or so, things naturally fall in place.

In that UK USA, how many times do bullion van carry money around? Most transactions are done through cards, and credits. But in Nigeria, it is 100% cash making it a very viable environment for armed robbers to operate.

Please stop talking from the left side of you mouth, may you not be caught in a cross fire between police and armed robbers trying to rob a bullion van, then you will urgently ask that bullion van even fly on that one way.

Bullion van should be allowed to run one way as far as there is traffic grid lock. Let's face the fact.
Car Talk › Re: New Lagos Traffic-Law Catches First-Victim - Bullion Van Driver by babestella: 10:24pm On Aug 29, 2012
I believe when the roads are fixed and good, there will be free traffic flow and people will not have to run one way, even when there is hold up, it wouldn't be a hopeless situation where you are not even sure of getting out of the traffic.

Apart from the over rated purnishment for traffic offenders which should be reviewed, I still reiterate the fact that having bullion vans trapped in traffic poses a lot of danger to the public and other road users. We all know the sorry state of security in Nigeria.

All these should be properly considered and necessary amendments made to the law.
Car Talk › Re: New Lagos Traffic-Law Catches First-Victim - Bullion Van Driver by babestella: 7:42pm On Aug 29, 2012
The bank should contest the case up to supreme court. 1 yr is too much for a traffic offense, let's be realistic and reasonable here. However, bank bullion van should allowed to run one way if there is heavy traffic the same way other informed personnel run one way even in Lagos.. Nigeria is a country where robbers can rob for hours and no police will show up. If the driver had stayed in the traffic and get robbed, he will sure be facing charges of conspiracy, robbery and stealing now.

When GEJ resigns, who takes over na? Hausa man? Fulani herdsman? And they stop throwing bombs and the killings.
Please give GEJ a break. BOKO HARAM is only trying to break the country into some serious war, they are only trying to tell us that it is only a northern religious bigot that can be in power and there will be peace in this country.

GEJ willnbenthere for another 4 years after this first term.
Politics › Re: Northern CAN - GEJ Has Failed Us, He Should Resign by babestella: 12:58pm On Aug 13, 2012
I personally do not and will not support a failed government now nor in future. Now one thing should be clear to we all as Nigerians, Nigeria as a nation has very seriuos foundational problem. That has led to a factbwenall know today about some tribe of men, or some group of religious bigots bogusly making claims that the country's leadership position belongs to them. These same bigots have unequivocally made strong statements swearing to make this country ungovernable for Mr. GEJ.
Lets imagine what this country will look like if these same group comes out and swear that they will make this country governable for Mr. GEJ and say with with all sense of responsibility. I will leave you to romance the feeling of being secured in this country even in a place of worship.
These bigots are only interested in breweing chaos in the country so to discredit GEJ administration.

Now I ask, is it because GEJ is not a northerner, is it because he is a Christian? Ponder on this, or is it because some people where not able to snatch the seat of power even through the game of balloting which ultimately goes to the best rigger?

Listen up, all those calling for GEJ's resignation should stop that nonsense. For all I care, GEJ should remain in power even beyond 2015, and let's see what those who have sworn to make the country a living hell for him will do. GEJ is not getting it right, but could a northerner had done better? Leadership positions in this country is not an exclusive right of any tribe in this Nation much so for a region that has nothing to contribute to the economic development of this nation. I think then, that the South east deserve to lead this nation for another 20 years because much of the resources of this ill fated country is from the SE.

Mind you, I am not in support of his cart before the horse policies, but I will not support the promotion of terrorism just to discredit GEJ's administration. Let's call a spade a spade.
Politics › Re: Much Talked About Onitsha Mosque Demolished! by babestella: 12:06pm On Aug 13, 2012
The governor is only trying to ensure that his state is fully secured and not prone to terrorism perpetrated by our Muslim brothers in the name of boko haram.
It is a fact that not all Muslims are terrorist, but as we all can see right now, Islam is only an instrument of terrorism. Yes, it is theoretically said that it is a religion of peace, but practically, we see terror in everything and everywhere that has the fabrics of Islam.
Muslims are free to live in any state in the country, but they must do so by the laws of the state with respect to ensuring security in the state. It is even for their own security just as church's are being closed down in the north so that the lives of worshippers are not endangered by any chance.

I think if a Muslim wants to live safe in this country, he or she must relocate to Borno, Kano, Kaduna,, adamawa etc.

IT IS ALWAYS SAID THAT A MUSLIM BROTHER CAN NEVER BE HANDED OVER TO UNBELIEVERS, INFIDELS FOR JUDGEMENT. SO YOU ALL CAN SEE WHY OUR GOVERNMENT MAY NEVER BE ABLE TO FISH OUT THESE EVIL DOERS MUCH SO PROSECUTE THEM.

Crime › Re: Banker Kills LASTMA Official In Lagos by babestella: 5:33pm On Aug 11, 2012
This 3 year jail term will see more lastma officials losing their lives. It is better for governor fashola to adopt the option of fine because no one will ever want to go to jail for eating snacks while driving.

More lastma and police officers are still to lose their lives if the law is not amended to reflect reality in the society.
