I love that part where you said in a course that doesn't require it. Second year in most schools is for placement. And securing a placement in a reputed company can land you a tier 2 visa if you are lucky.

A school like Teeside that he's intending to go also allows students to pay in installments for 2 years. So, this could be a good bargain for someone with limited budget. So, it all depends on individuals plan

Please friend I want to ask a question. I just joined the PTDF conversation. I have a admission from Canadian University and I have some assistantship support but I have to pay tuition fee. If I'm among the winner list of PTDF, can I present such admission to PTDF knowing fully well that Canadian Universities are not among those Universities where PTDF ask us to seek admission

In some schools, professional certification and experience will give you Masters admission directly. You dont need to have any tertiary education.

You dont need to have any tertiary qualification to do ACCA.


To gain an excellent job in UK, USA and abroad, you must have experience and competence. No one cares about your MSc and PhD.

Without experience, you will start from graduate trainee.

Stop mocking the visa applicant with OND and you are just displaying ignorance. She deserves praise for letting people know and understand that being a registered professional is renowned.

They gave her admission because she is a Registered professional with Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria

If you are a registered nurse and you went to the college of nursing, you will still gain Masters of Nursing admission directly.

Experience matters and being certified as a registered professional shows prowess and competence .

Not all these theoretical people we have in Nigeria who arent competent and are unemployable.

Honestly I totally don’t mind them having a separate list beside they are the contributors of the fund which PTDF uses. Without them NO PTDF SCHOLARSHIP. Last I heard Priority visa option is not available anymore for Tier 4 visas, so you'll need about 3 weeks or more from submission date to get your visa.

Yeah! The earlier the better.
I received an offer of admission from Uni. Of Liverpool with a partial scholarship. And if eligible, will be automatically awarded more internal scholarships. Was requested to upload evidence of PTDF application and apply for accommodation immediately which I did.

May God answer our prayers. Hoping for the best

I spoke with one of the PTDF staff today who told me that the list of selected scholars would most likely be out next week or highest upper week. So let’s just keep praying to be among the list,

Please I need help, intially before I joined this platform, I was making use of the agent, I have applied for a direct master's through them in public health with my HND certificate, for direct master's in public health. Since January this year, information reaching me now is that UK schools don't accept HND for direct master's again, mostly Sheffield hallam university. Which is my main target.

Please I want to know if there is another school I can get with my HND for direct master's in public health for January batch 2023.

How do you expect her to know all the US and Canadian universities that waive app fee, GRE and English tests? Even if she knows them all, where do you think she got the list from? Is it not the same Google she's directing you to? Do you expect her to do the research, write down the schools for you and post them here??

Today I also watched a video of a courtesy visit paid to PTDF by the French ambassador to Nigeria, MADAM EMMANUELLA, and I also saw the PTDF Chairman quoting that even this year they have more than 50 scholars that will be sent to France. Does that mean each country will have just more than 50, not even up to 100 scholars?

Do they forfeit their slot or PTDF gives it to somebody else?

Because I spotted one of them still adding it that she was a PTDF awardee/scholar, which is making me ask if they switched their funding to US

Hello all.

I have an HND but i applied for a MSc Information Technology from RGU, but was advised to go through their premasters programme at ICRGU for 10 weeks, afterwards if i pass that, they'll automatically enroll me for the master programme.

I applied for the premasters yesterday and got a conditional offer today.

I don't know whether to accept yet because the fees for the premasters alone is 7500.

But what do you guy think about this pathway.

n.b Visa will cover from the start of premasters to the end of the masters.
