The Ibadan-ogbomosho 4oute has always been a death trap. So many administrations have turned a blind eye to the ever prevailing problem. Even the FG has acted as if it's non of their business. I have seen scores of people die on that route and it's as if no one cares.
I think we should all lend a voice to end this carnage, especially those heading towards the Ilorin axis too, it even more troublesome when u consider that there is a federal institution in that vicinity. I smh for naija.
To all those with a voice please save this route oh. Time for Cherry Mangoes don dey reach oh.

It's a shame on our leaders the manner with which they play with the lives of the citizenry... It is well with our souls.
Travel / FG, Please Save Ogbomosho Road From Further Calamity by babs84(m): 8:29am On Apr 02, 2018
Save ogbomoso road from accident, the federal road safety ogbomoso has failed to remove obstructions trucks on ogbomoso road and this has sent many to early grave because there's no tow truck to remove obstruction off the road to smoothens the movement of road users and those that used the road as means of business. Formally, there was a tow truck that was used to remove obstructions from the road by FRSC but suddenly they took the tow truck away without replacement of another tow truck thereby causing gridlock on that portion of the road.I want to let you know that this is the only road that leads to other part of the country like Ilorin, Niger, Kano, Abuja....we call on the federal government to intervene on this matter because the federal road safety corp officials have been working tirelessly to saving the lives of the road users until now that they have been rendered so useless by God knows who? Please save us.

Trailblazer1:
Here comes my prayer:
*please do the usual by going on your knees with your hands raised as a total surrender to God*

Almighty God and creator of the heavens and earth! You alone enthrone kings and also depose kings at your will and none can challenge you.
You alone searches the heart of men and all their thoughts and intents are bare before you.
You know the thoughts and intents of our president - If they are for good may You prosper them, but if they are for evil and against the interest of Nigerians- may they be thwarted.
If you are guilty of the bloodshed in this nation- may blood never cease to flow in your generation but if otherwise may all your accusers be disgraced.

Concerning 2015 elections - oh God! may you ordain the best candidate. May you rig the life of any candidate that will attempt to rig the elections.
Any godfather, group, cabal or political party supporting or sponsoring violence in this nation will die of the same violence.
May the sword of thr wicked never fall upon the lot of the righteous.

And we all say!!!
This is the sweetest prayer on this forum.God bless Nigeria....Amen

Alot of our graduates out there without jobs. Nigerians are suffering. See our billions circulating within these heartless politicians. We are also planning on voting the same people to power....oh God! please intervene in our matter. Lets keep praying for Nigeria.

http://www.punchng.com/news/joining-apc-not-about-2015-presidency-buhari/

Gen. Muhammadu Buhari (retd), has frowned on the emergency rule in parts of the North.
Buhari speaking during a Liberty FM Hausa Service Programme, Guest of the Week, on Sunday in Kaduna said that Boko Haram members were being killed and their houses demolished unlike the “special treatment” given to the Niger Delta militants by the Federal Government

Buhari, who also blamed President Goodluck Jonathan for failing to tackle the security problems in the country, argued that the challenges started in the Niger Delta.

He said, “What is responsible for the security situation in the country is caused by the activities of Niger Delta militants.

“Every Nigerian that is familiar with happenings knows this. The Niger Delta militants started it all. What happened is that the governors of the Niger Delta at that time wanted to win their elections, so they recruited youths and gave guns and bullets to them to use against their opponents to win elections by force.

“After the elections, they asked the boys to return the guns, and the boys refused to do so. Because of that the allowance that was being given to them by the governors was stopped.”

Buhari said his joining the proposed All Progressives Congress was not all about securing the party presidential ticket for the 2015 elections.

According to him, the formation of the APC and his joining the group is to help effect the needed change in the polity and not just about his presidential ambition.

He declared, “If APC fails to give me the ticket, I will remain in partisan politics and in the party. Anyone the party picks as its candidate, I will support him because I will remain in the APC.”

Besides, Buhari noted that the problem of the country was that of bad leadership, which the APC was out to change.

This is the man APC leadership is presenting to take over the affairs of this state. Well let's wait and see.
GMB is just being human and to the best of my knowledge, he is a Nigerian. Putting sentiments apart, this is a man whom in his track records was never labelled as being corrupt but a no nonesense person. Nigerians needs a straight forward individual who will deal with the corrupt cabals perpetrating themselves as leaders in this country just the way some leaders were treated in Ghana some years ago. That lead to that revolution in Ghana today which they, their citizens are reaping the gains. We cant be fooled anymore.

Our over-dependent on crude oil is taken toll on the country right now but let us not loose hope because, i believe we can set the record straight as we go back to our farming days. This would definitely help to boost our economy. A proactive government and a collective effort of Nigerians at home and in diaspora would be a key to winning this war against austerity policies.

Politics / I Believe In Change! by babs84(m): 5:28am On Dec 19, 2014
Over the years, since independence till date, alot of evil deeds have been perpetrated by our so called political moguls under the pretence of governing its people. We can not fold our hands to allow these acts continue to fadeout our destiny as a people who are meant to unite under one God. There is always a force of change that would eventually prompt the very patriotic Nigerians to resist being enslaved by the so called government of the day. Let us change the way we live, eat, drink, and think so as to channel a cause for a better tomorrow. We know what is best for this nation at a stage we found ourselves. I want to believe that CHANGE has to be the order of the day, so as to make our lives better as a people and to also make our country an envy of other countries of the world. For One Nigeria, I recommend CHANGE!!! by Babatunde Benedict from Ondo State.
