Reasons:
1. Your card is not probably activated for international transactions, call the number at the back of your card to activate it for online transactions (Please note: I've not done this before) or go to your bank and tell them to activate it for you.

2. If you've been paying with it before, how much are you trying to pay? If it's more than $20, it won't go through(this is the monthly limit). I even tried using one GT card yesterday, I was only able to make $15 payment

3. If none of the above, make sure you have #492 × the amount of dollar you want to pay in your account. If you want to pay $10, make sure you have at least #4920 in your account.

Turns out the issue is my account type. I was told I'd need to upgrade my acct and then be issued a new card but I don't have much time for that process.

I have heard about virtual cards. Do you think I can register a domai/n with one? If yes which one do you suggest I use?

I really appreciate your comments.

I'm not much experienced but I can contribute.

I haven't used them before (for domain investing) and I don't think I will ever use them.

Why?

1. Higher prices compared to reputable registrars

2. Low reputation when compared to other reputable registrars

3. Not really sure they offer privacy on their domains.

It's better to stick to registrars such as
Name-(-)-Cheap, name silo, GoDaddy, Epik, Dynadot, Porkbun and so on.

Thanks for the very good insights. I think these are enough to make a decision.

To the experienced ones, what's your experience using Nigerian domai/n registrars and would you recommend using one?

Thanks for your prompt response. I'm quite aware of 2 & 3 and I have no problem with those.
I think the problem is number 1. I'll try the customer care as you've suggested.

Thanks once again!

Hello everybody,

Please has anyone been able to use GT/B Master/card to register a dom/ain on Go/ daddy or Name/ cheap?
My card is being declined every time I try to register a domai/n name using one of theses registrars. Please kindly suggest a possible solution or alternative.

Thanks for your help.

Okay. Please stay safe!

I think people have answered you already but to buttress their points I think the styling method to use in a react app boils down to personal preferences. I'd suggest you try each option and settle for the one that suits you best. Personally, I use styled-components because I enjoy writing plain css and other times I use TailwindCSS or Material UI.

Also every company usually have a style-guide they follow so you don't have to worry too much as long as you know your onions in writing plain CSS.

I don't understand why it took NLC this long to speak to the FG in the language they understand. Bunch of useless fool.s

Beautiful suggestion but owing to the fact that it was created in the programming section, it would be hard to broaden the scope of who and what is covered

it might also dilute the information if it becomes general purpose as the original idea was a go-to thread for getting into remote roles foreign companies in tech

Oh. It's okay then if that's the original idea.

You CANNOT learn DSA without learning a programming language.

Hi DrLevi,

Thanks for starting the thread. I have a suggestion that might help improve the thread. I think you should explicitly point out this thread isn't for those who work in tech only. We can have people from any career who work for international companies share their work tips and experience and this will probably help get this thread some traction.

The same applies, I guess.

I'm not senior yet but most times I watch movies on my PC or stream music channels on tv.
