This looks like a citizen obstructing and interfering in the discharge of the duty of an officer of the law. Looks more like disrespecting the police
I don't think any celebrity has the duty to regulate the police. O wrong now
What about cases where the police don't respect themselves? This one might be of them.

Lol, funny story. But according to Wikipedia it was nothing but a mere rumor that his genitals were severed. So whatever is in that bottle must belong to someone else.

It's the fuel subsidy removal effect. Coupled with the ever rising inflation we've been experiencing on a monthly basis. It shouldn't be more than 25 or at most 30k.
Yeah, I guess so. I'm kind of getting averse to buying heavy electronics from online stores nowadays. Especially Jumia. They hike the price of everything as if there's no tomorrow. I'm pretty sure the price will be way cheaper in physical stores.
PoliticsRe: What Is Your Take On The Fuel Subsidy Removal? by Babtunz: 1:15pm On Jun 01, 2023
Worriedwife:
It is good. The problem is we do not trust the government to plough back this money into the betterment of the country. That is why we would rather have subsidy as the only thing the common man gains from Nigeria
I beg to differ. Subsidy is for sure not the only thing the common man gains from being Nigerian. There are a host of other benefits we enjoy, for example, the freedom of misbehavior.

Ken star. I bought it 19k last year. I don't know how much it would be currently.
Thanks! But it's currently #50k+ on Jumiawl, which I find really absurd.

If you work from home, I'll suggest you get a laptop with very strong battery, that way you can still remain online for hours after power outage. Also, get a rechargeable standing fan. The one I bought lasts up to 7hours when fully charged. This would help you at night so you can preserve your fuel and won't have to put on the gen if the weather gets hot. That way your gen would only be put on when you want to work and have low battery. With the new fuel price, one has to adjust in order to survive.
Please what's the name of the rechargeable fan and how much did you get it for? Thanks.

Designer babies.
Very soon they will be able to make babies without any physical defect. Like for example if you want blue eyes on a black kid, or a super brain or if you don't want him to be ever interested in penis enlargement. Like there's almost nothing. Very soon, they will give expectant parents a catalogue to choose what they want and don't want from their child.
I love the name. Designer babies. grin

JohnPortar:
I don't see a problem here, as long as you have an active contract on Upwork and you are getting paid on the platform, you are good.

If any issue arises, they will reach out to you and ask for prove of work.

I once had a client I worked with for about 6 months, the job was customer service and there was nothing to "submit" on Upwork.
Oh really, thanks! This has calmed me down.
BusinessRe: Upwork Thread (Questions/Help/Advice) by Babtunz: 9:43pm On Apr 12, 2023
Hi all, please I need your inputs. So there's this client I'm working for at the moment, we agreed they'll be paying me by milestone for the contract.

However, the work I'm doing for them is totally off Upwork and is not something I can submit.
I basically do my work on my PC and push it to their version control infrastructure (think GitHub).

Since the contract started, they've released payments for two milestones so far. And each time the milestone is approved, I do not submit anything (reason above), just a simple message to maybe say thanks.

I'm worried Upwork might think there's something off - that I'm being paid without doing any work (which is false) - and could lead to them suspending my account.

What do y'all think I can do about this? I really hope I'm not breaking any of their rules.

Thanks for your feedback! I appreciate it.

What is the recommended background color for the passport photograph we're going to submit. Red or white? Or it doesn't matter?

You are in order except for that number 4. You do not need go with your documents if you have done documentation process earlier. Some do carry out their documentation on the day of capturing but I will not advise such.
Thanks for your response! I just want to add step 4 to avoid any sorry story. I have read it here where people who submitted their documents before the capturing date were told their docs couldn't be found anywhere on the capturing day
TravelRe: Cost Of A Nigeria International Passport by Babtunz: 11:15am On Mar 28, 2023
Hello all, I'm trying to get my passport and I want to be sure I understand the process correctly.

Here's what I think the process entails.

1. Pay for whatever type of passport I want on NIS website and get a capturing date.

2. Get the required documents - NIN, passport photographs, stamped guarantor's form, local government letter of identification, birth certificate.

3. Submit these documents to the NIS office where I'll be having the capturing.

4. Go to the NIS office on the day of capturing with extra copies of the documents above.

5. After capturing, wait for a message to confirm the availability of my passport or track it on NIS portal.

I'm not sure if the above is exactly how the passport application process works, so I'd appreciate any inputs from the community.

Thanks all!

The GP6PRO, might be older....... But it's still a much higher spec, than the GP7......

Plus the GP6PRO, comes with a battery extension pack.......

It's like wanting to buy a Mercedes S class 2022 model vs Mercedes E class 2023 model.......

The S class is more superior.........😂😜
Ohh, I get it. Thanks

My Opinion..
WHY ARE YOU INTERESTED IN THIS POSITION
I read about your Job descriptions, your company's mission and future goals and it's something I identified with...Since your company( mention the name of the company...It will look like u knew it and what it stands for) aspires to be the world class in customer service ( just take career of your choice to replace customer service and find what the company does) As a customer service manager, I believe in giving the best services, Hence, I want to contribute my own quota to make sure that the goal is achieved. also since your company believed in career advancement, I want to grow with it.

2 WHY ARE YOU GOOD FIT FOR THIS POSITION
Though you may have met a lot of professionals, but I believe that I am a perfect fit for this role. I have a masters degree in ABC and a Bachelor's degree in CDE. My analytical and customer service skills are topnotch, my communication skills have never failed, and I am a problem solver. The ability to figure out what the customer desires and provides a quick solution is the key to this role smiley
Best reply so far. 👍
PoliticsRe: Nairaland Presidential Exit Poll: Who Did You Vote For & Why? by Babtunz:
Still at the polling unit waiting to vote...
I'm number 256 on the queue and they're still on 80. 🥲

Update: 4:20 PM and I've just performed my civic duty. There's this feeling of fulfilment that engulfed me after casting my vote for the first time. I truly hope we can salvage this country from the ruins we have reduced it to.

I voted Labour Party. Presidential oo, Senatorial oo, House of rep oo. Even though I didn't know the candidates for the last two I voted LP all through.

As to why, let's say I'm gambling on the lesser evil.

I have done my part, now let God's will be done.
