Chief, research is very very important in any business you want to do if you are truly serious about making money from it.

When registering names, always work with historical data or trends to get ideas, unless you want to keep guessing.

Have you seen a sales report containing "Emergency Electrician" before? or is it a current business trend?

For any business to thrive it has to have the ability to prefer solutions or meet the target's needs, and that is why it is essential to search for end users before registering any name or starting any business at all.

See below a simple google search for that term and what result it brought forth.

Look at the right side of the screenshot and see other suggested search terms, nothing like "EMERGENCY ELECTRICIANS"

I hope you get the point I am trying to make from all this.

Remember, The purpose of knowledge is action, not knowledge.

I did make my research before registering the name, but thanks.

Dear bosses, please help appraise these names (these are my first buy):

moorrealestate.com ( picked from ED)
AustinEmergencyElectrician (Handreg)

Making money via Web Dev, this is based on my observation.

1. Fulltime Job - Getting paid monthly from employer 100% Guarantee
2. Side-gigs: Upworks/LinkedIn and contractual jobs
3. Platform consulting: Being a Partner to a platform and consulting for their customers. e.g Shopify/Moodle
4. Saas - Building products and collecting monthly
5. Commission/sales: Selling a temaplte/plugin in a market like placeor Shopify commissions from Apps/Theme
6. Startup - Own a Startup or business
7. Tech Writing: Writing articles to promote tech products
8. Content Creator

I have listed everything, not to sound pessimistic, I don't think everyone might achieve this, because of the attitude, and unseriousness. I've seen a moniker learning how to code for months and just insulting others. The serious ones will ignore the comments and move on.

But this is how you make money online, and also these things are hard, it involves constant reading, and constant comprehension.

airsaylongcome , DrLevi and tensazangetsu20 have all mentioned it, you have to code and practice daily, there is no shortcut. Tech is not as rosy as people paint it, it's brutal, you don't meet up and you're sacked.

A word is enough for the wise.

because in this programming section, if indeed there are smart devs here, it shouldn't be hard to discuss the OP's topic without insults.

This is very apt. Thanks chief

Is it possible to use a local bank account that isn't yours to withdraw from Geegpay?

Made a mistake while funding my account

Sent #2050 instead of the #2070 I chose and the money didn't reflect in my balance

They've not respond to my chat on the website and also email

Someone also lost #5k and they are not responding

Seems like a scam platform to me

Well, your issues may be related to this email I received from geegpay yesterday

callmemakaveli:
Yes!. It is a mandatory fee you must pay to activate an account with Wise. It's just like applying for an Africard with UBA, You must pay card activation fee. And with Wise you can't pay in naira because it is not a naira account/card. The easiest way is to find a legit Wise funds exchanger here on nairaland who will send the required amount to your wise account via the Email you used while opening the account and you pay the equivalent in naira depending on the exchanger rate per dollar....

Thanks for the detailed explanation.

azizsystem:
I found it bro, thanks... Pls I would like to know the processes involved in getting it. Was it issued at the bank, NIMC office or cafe. Thanks

You can get it at any NIMC registration center. Just make sure you show them a sample of exactly what you want.

Pls I would also like to know what time(,month) your Identity was verified by upwork

Sent. You might need to check your spam folder if you can't find it in Primary.

qtguru:
Yes it was required, I can't even remember how I paid, but you can use virtual cards *Parallel rate*

Alright. Thank you

I'll send the mail soon. I got verified this month.

.
Bro pls where could I get this. Pls a screenshot of this slip would help me a lot... Thank you so much for this lifesaver information.
If you don't want to reveal too much, pls contact me through 08148680882 Whatsapp... I already have a digital NIN that I printed through the NIMC app but still upwork refused to accept it. So I wonder which one they approved for you . Pls bro don't hesitate to contact me. I have been battling with this since June pls

How about through email instead?

azizsystem:
Bro pls how was it possible for you to verify your upwork ID using your NIN slip.. it's not just working for me. I have been trying for over two months now, in the absence of PVC and Plastic ID

Try to get the Improved NIN Slip (it's very small like an ID card but it is paper and has a Barcode on it). That worked for me.

qtguru:
I use it to keep money and send it to other countries, and I use it to receive money from Upworks,

Is the 10k payment required for account opening? I can't even pay in Naira.

Boss, you once said you use Wise for payments. Can you please explain how it works? I'm trying to create an account and they said I have to deposit 10k.

Lol. I'm not a pansophist. I just like knowing more about my interests (DS is my preferred tech career).

Wow, that's good to know.

Lastbornbuns:
To go far in Data Science, you need an advanced degree (Masters or PhD). Interestingly, all the Meta DS roles I've seen so far for the UK ask for a PhD in econ/stat/math etc. Most others ask for at least a Masters.
DS is extremely Stat-heavy. In my opinion, it is far better to do a masters in Statistics than in DS because I've noticed most DS Masters are still new and don't really have great math or stat component. They'll just teach you python/SQL/ML which you could learn on your own.
Beside DS is not really an entry level role; that's DA. Most DS have like 2/3 YOE in DA or something related or an advanced degree.

You seem to be a pansophist, and I admire you for that.

Cuppy see where you and Buhari have led the poor guy

Can we just stop all this sh*t once and for all? No sane human would want to experience war.

May the dead rest in peace. But it feels good when people get a taste of their own medicine.

HIScraziness:
I can’t mention the registrars so I don’t get banned but the card works on all major registrars.

Virtual card.

Once u create they’ll give u a NGN account, fund it then use the money there to fund your card. It’s very simple.

Thanks boss

HIScraziness:
Use geegpay or Sudo card to buy names.

Hello boss, a newbie here. I need clarification on a few things.

1. Please which registrars accept geegpay cards?

2. What type of card will I create on geegpay to purchase names on the registrars?

3. How do I fund the card?

Thanks for your time.

PLEASE I NEED REVIEWS AND CRITICISMS ON THE COMPOSED MAIL BELOW. IT IS MY FIRST ATTEMPT.

Subject line: Where is my car?

Hello (name),

You may be wondering what car this mail is referring to.

Well, the subject line was chosen so because many have asked the same question on circumstances they didn't understand.

Truth is, it can happen to anybody and he/she will be left with no option than to ask "where is my car?"

Now hear this...

I was at a hotel's food and beverage section to meet a client when I heard a man shouting all over the place as if he wanted to bring down the building.

What constantly came out of his mouth was:

"Where is my car?"

That continued to a point his voice caused people to gather in number in curiosity over what was going on.

I later found out the man's name to be...

This is apt. Kudos to you. If I were a recipient of this mail and I owned a car, I'm definitely clicking the CTA.

Selena tested. If you know you know
