Politics / Babachir Lawal's Millions And Stella Oduah Millions...a Tale Of Two Presidents by babyhrt(m): 2:56pm On Jan 26, 2017
Babachir Lawal's DIGITAL GRASS and Stella Oduah's BULLET PROOF BMWs....A tale of two president

Some times in 2013, the country media was awashed with public anger and rage with a disturbing discovery that the then minister of Aviation Stella Oduah, had bought two Bullet proof BMW cars for a whopping 250 million naira in the midst of an economy already showing signs of distress. From the media to the national assembly, to civil right organisations, to all well-meaning Nigeria and especially the then opposition party (APC), the consensus was general and the verdict was clear....Stella Oduah must go. The government responded by constituting an investigative panel to ascertain the culpability of the minister

Vividly, the then spokesperson of the APC Alhaji Lai Mohammed had questioned the rationale behind Jonathan's Panel and accused him further of being an accessory to corruption because Stella Oduah as the substantive minister of Aviation was among the President's entourage to Israel.

For weeks this matter remained at the front burner and was a major topic of discourse ahead of the 2015 general elections.
Following the unprecedentedness of the public outcry that followed the whole saga, the president issued a query to the minister and eventually sack her.

We had thought that with the coming of this present government and their stand on the issue of corruption and looting of public funds, cases like that of Stella Oduah will never be heard of...Unfortunately, it seemed we were only hallucinating or better still, we simply slept off on a moving bike

Babachir Lawal N220 million Digital Grass saga is another case of Stella Oduah 250 million bullet proof car saga....just that the players, the year and the Presidents are different.

Facts upon fact have emerged on how the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, SGF, Babachir Lawal, allegedly awarded spurious contract of N220 million for the removal of wild grass and the provision of 115 hectares of simplified village irrigation in Yobe State and how the company allegedly subsequently transferred the money into another firm, Rholavision Engineering Limited (An IT firm), said to be owned by the SGF.

Chisos!!!! An IT firm clearing grass? The grass must be some kind of DIGITAL GRASS brought by the FULANI herd’s men from LIBIA AND MALI

The document are in the public domain, the nation's highest law making body has investigated and indicted the SGS but the action of the president was equally unprecedented....he simply clear his SGS of any corruption and in turn accused the Assembly of not doing a thorough a job….of not given his man fair hearing.

I think I would love to stop here…..I just wanted to do a simple comparison

Romance / My About-to-be Girl Friend And The Myth About Female Virginity by babyhrt(m): 10:44am On Nov 01, 2016
So i have been wooing this cute lady for a while and all the signs proves that we are gonna be dating pretty soon. I like her a lot and the signs are there that she likes me too. She is presently out of Lagos but will be coming back this week or nextweek and we will be kicking starting things afterwards.

Just some days ago, she said she wanna share an info with me about female virginity, this happened without pre-empting, i never discussed anything with her regarding virginity or anything related to sex or sexuality....the closest i have gone was when i told her, i liked her hips.

The long and short of the info she shared is that female Virgins may necessarily not bleed when they have sex for the first time for a number of reasons as indicated in the attached broadcast below. I agree with some the reasons and disagreed with the rest

What got me thinking however is, why will she share such an information with me unsolicited?? what could have warranted such a move? what message does she want to pass across and for what reason? This is a girl i am asking out, we are not dating yet.

My mind is running around with different thoughts so i decided to put them here for your candid advice

I dont want to start a relationship full of troubles..am a cool guy when i want to be

Mod...help pls

The myth about female virginity - why most women won't bleed the first time they have sex.
There's a very common myth in South and Central Asia (Pakistan, India, Bangladesh, Afghanistan etc.) and Middle East (KSA, we're especially looking at you) that you can tell if a woman is a virgin, by whether or not she bleeds the first time she has sex. There is zero truth in this. Not all women bleed the first time they have sex, as we'll explain in this post.
To understand why some women bleed and some don't, it's very important to understand what the hymen is. The hymen is a membrane that tends to cover part of the vaginal opening (it does not always block or cover the entire vagina, as some people mistakenly think). NOT ALL WOMEN HAVE A HYMEN. The hymen also differs from woman to woman - like all women have different heights and weights and features, all women also have different amounts and types of hymen. Some women have thick hymens, some have very thin hymens, and some women have no hymens at all. Some women have larger hymens, some women naturally have a very little amount of hymen that covers only a small portion of their vaginal opening (and hence does not really get in the way, during first-time sex).
In addition to this, the hymen wears away on its own as you grow up. For most women, the hymen wears away on its own with exercise, bicycling, horseback riding - it can wear off with pretty much any other physical activity, even dancing! - or from using tampons when menstruating. Especially if the hymen is very small or thin, most of it tends to wear away on its own as a girl grows up.
If a woman is born without a hymen, she won't bleed the first time she has sex. If a woman has a small or thin hymen, she might not bleed the first time she has sex. If a woman's hymen has worn away on its own (which is very common as girls grow up), she won't bleed the first time she has sex. The result is that the overwhelming majority - at least 63% of women - will NOT bleed the first time they have sex, according to a study published by the British Medical Journal. Women who do bleed include:
- Women with thick hymens (who constitute a small percentage of the population)
- Younger girls. Because the hymen wears away on its own with time, a 16-year old has a higher chance of bleeding than a 25-year old. By the time a girl is of or above the legal age of consent - 18, 20, 24 years of age, for example - most of her hymen is likely to have worn away on its own, meaning it's unlikely that she'll bleed a lot, if at all. However, even a young girl can be physically active, have a thin or small hymen, or have no hymen at all, meaning she might not bleed during first-time sex.
- Most often, women who bleed tend to be women who are dealt with roughly during sex. If the guy forces himself inside the girl, when she isn't ready, relaxed or aroused enough, he is likely to cause injury or bleeding. Because most people think it's normal for women to bleed the first time they have sex, they don't realize that this bleeding is a result of the woman having been hurt, and not of the hymen 'breaking.' Painful first-time sex is generally because the woman is not relaxed or aroused enough, and gets hurt as a result; it is rarely ever because of the hymen breaking.
The bottom line is that there is no way to assess female virginity. Bleeding does not have anything to do with virginity - it has to do with the kind of hymen a girl has, and hymens differ from girl to girl from birth. The result is that only a small percentage of women bleed the first time! (Only 37% bleed during first-time sex, according to the study published in the British Medical Journal.)
Why is this so important to be aware of? Women all over the world get abused, injured and even killed due to the myth of 'virgin bleeding.' Because most people (men AND women) think that bleeding is a sign of virginity, women who don't bleed the first time have been divorced, suffered from suspicion leading to domestic violence and abuse, and even killed for honour. Educating people that a girl does not necessarily have to bleed the first time she has sex - because not all girls have thick hymens, and some are born with no hymen at all - is important because it can literally save lives.
P.S: We understand that not everyone is able to share material like this, even if they want to. However, the only way we can educate people regarding this issue is if it goes into the newsfeeds of as many people as possible, if as many people as possible read it. So please consider sharing. If you can't share, please like, leave a comment, or forward this to your friends. We need to make content like this visible to increase its reach, to educate people, to have impact. This tells me one thing, that Magu is an attention seeker, no wonder there are more media trials than courts trials and convictions

The other day i saw a house in Lekki with bold inscription..."Under Investigation By EFCC" and i ask myself why this charade. the word invstigation literarily, in context and even in reality connotes secrecy but not with EFCC

What then happens if you find the man not guilty after you have boldy written in the wall of his house that he is being invstiagted, you subject him to ridicule for nothing.

Finally.

Helen Ogunleye was the last piece missing, and now game on.

Helen Ogunleye will sing like a Canary to save herself, and all these Judges will be thrown under the bus so fast, it will be like an hungry man swallowing a morsel of Poundo Yam with Vegetable Soup.

What the Government needs to do now, is cut a deal with Helen Ogunleye, granting her some immunity of sort to spill all the secrets of the Courts, and how all illegal dealings are done, which is not limited to JUDGEMENT FOR SELL to the highest bidders only.

Nigerians complain of Power Supply, and that is why Buhari should re-visit the MIKANO sharing of Generators worth Millions of Naira each,to High Court Judges in Nigeria as a gift under Goodluck Jonathan to use at their homes.

Judges are not even suppose to accept gifts.

Since the sharing of those Generators, there have been an effort to sabotage Nigeria's power supply, by agents of Mikano Generators, and Judges have been bought already just incase people decide to pursue a legal redress.

Something tells me Governor Wike's wife who is also a Judge, will soon be getting a visit from the DSS soon, as there is no way she could not have been a GO BETWEEN for her husband, and those he paid for the Judgement to make him remain as the Governor of Rivers State.

Our Judiciary is very corrupt, and it needs to be cleaned, sanitized and made to be impartial to everybody.

Politics / Feyi Fawehinmi & Deji Yesufu: It's Not A Time To Gloat By Bayo Adeyinka by babyhrt(m): 5:34pm On Aug 12, 2016
Feyi Fawehinmi & Deji Yesufu: It's Not A Time To Gloat
Since the day I came across Feyi Fawehinmi, I've always devoured everything he writes. I still recall very clearly that Oyewale Oyewole was the one who introduced his articles to me during one of our conversations. He is very cerebral and one to be taken very seriously. He even influenced the choice of some books I have bought and read over the past one year. Our only point of departure was his support for Buhari. I just couldn't understand why he couldn't see through the smoke screen and his inability to know that no matter how bad Goodluck Jonathan was, Buhari is never an option- emphasis on the word NEVER. Now, the chicken has come home to roost even as Nigeria is being roasted. I read his article with a tinge of sadness and regret at what could have been. Feyi does not need to apologize. He held on to his conviction just like some of us held on to ours. Many friends have fought me for not supporting Buhari. I recall a very precious friendship which has been damaged almost beyond repairs because my friend alleged all sorts just because I supported Goodluck Jonathan and refused to be deceived by the 'packaging' of Buhari.
Deji Yesufu is also someone I deeply respect. He is very opinionated just like I am. I read all his articles even if I don't agree with quite a few of them. He is very brilliant and very articulate. Deji can write up a storm without caring whose ox is gored. I couldn't almost believe my eyes when a friend asked me if I'd seen Deji's update renouncing Buharism. Deji renouncing Buharism? I know the extent to which Deji went in support of Buhari. I recall the altercations both of us had during the elections. As far as I am concerned, Feyi and Deji are both courageous. It takes courage to face up to your initial errors and admit you made a mistake. That is real manhood.
Truth is, there was nothing like Buharism. Buharism is an empty concept which even the espousers cannot properly articulate. Buharism is as empty as Buhari. He may talk like a messiah but he is not one. He has always been part of the Nigerian problem. A problem can therefore not be the solution. And those who think Buhari is fighting corruption should look a little closer. Why is Buratai still the Chief of Army Staff in spite of the mountain of evidence against him? What happened to the overwhelming evidence on the illegal recruitments in CBN and FIRS? What happened to the asset declaration promise of the President or he thinks we have forgotten? Why is Saraki a villain while Dogara struts around like a peacock? What is the business of EFCC arresting a blogger for cyberstalking? Is that a financial crime?
I would have loved to say 'we told you so' but sincerely, this is not the time to gloat. Buhari is a real disaster that unravelled faster than most of us thought he would. The Buhari myth was just that- a myth. That a whole bunch of educated people were deceived into supporting the contraption that is Buhari is even tragic enough. Buhari has thrown the economy to the dogs by his ill-thought out directives: you want foreign direct investments in Nigeria and you ban money transfer operators who are responsible for about 50% of the inflows that come into Nigeria! Western Union is responsible for less than 20%! He reversed his initial ban on domiciliary deposits when he saw the economy was hurt. Does he have advisers? He can subsidize personal pilgrimage with scarce forex but people who need the same forex to pay for education or for their manufacturing plants can't get! And polio that was once eradicated has now returned to Nigeria! Under him, elections have been inconclusive. Inflation is now double digits and Nigeria has lost bragging rights to the biggest economy in Africa. You claim you are diversifying but you're still spending hundreds of millions of dollars to look for oil in the Chad Basin- when the whole world is moving from oil. Just watch the 'Mr Chido' video and understand the feelings of the 'common' man.
Unfortunately, we have almost three years to contend with this government. And those who have been deceiving themselves into thinking that they will vote out Buhari in 2019 like they voted out Goodluck Jonathan should have a re-think. Buhari is not Jonathan. Jonathan is a gentleman- Buhari is not. In spite of his weaknesses and there are quite a few, Jonathan understood the nuances and norms of democracy- Buhari doesn't care. Jonathan listens to others- maybe a little too much but Buhari listens to only himself and no other. Jonathan will be the last President that will ever lose an election in Nigeria. Truth is-Jonathan warts and all was too decent and maybe naive for the entity called Nigeria.
What shall we then do? We must insist on restructuring this nation. We must demand for true federalism. We have to put pressure on the lawmakers to revisit the 2014 National Conference reports even if the President claims he has archived it. We must insist on a loose centre because the Presidency is too powerful. We all must continue to speak out because the opposition is dead. Olisa Metuh was very vocal until he entered the gulag. Senator Ben Bruce has almost virtually disappeared from tweeter land after his economic 'pot of oil' was visited overnight. Only Femi Fani-Kayode has refused to be cowed into submission. We must join voices like his to demand that the proper thing is always done.
