@OP, the solution is simple. Go inside the bank, tell the cashier again and if they are still adamant,sit on the desk of any of the officials,disturb the peace inside for 5mins. If the Manager does not attend to you in 2mins with your money that means,your voice ain't loud enough.

Try it,it works perfectly fine and thank me later..!!!

I also have d same problem.Then it was 75k.Your account is a tier 1 account u need to migrate to normal savings account,if you don't have all they requested for you can do identification by proxy in which someone who own an account with Access bank will do on your behalf.Twz my dad that did it for me but in the case if you wanna use proxy d person will either use:National I.D card International passort or voters card.

What I plan to do is get my mom to open an acct with them....she has a voters card....so when her acct is active she'll help me...is it possible this way?

I had the same problem with UBA in 2006, but it was 1 million naira not 20k

After threating to withdraw all the money and close the account,they just told me to withdraw 10k out of the money to make it 990k then they reactivated it

The OP opened an account called Tier 1 or 2 in Access bank, these accounts can be opened without I.D or an invalid one. What can be done?

(a) Go there with your friends and create a scene in the branch, solution will come. The teller that collected the deposit is to be blamed here 'cos there's a restriction on the system for these accounts. You can also speak with their contact Centre or take it to twitter.

(b) Look for someone that operates with Access bank to reference you with his/her valid ID card, with that your account can be upgraded to Standard savings account or the Student savings account.

Note that you cannot close the account without a valid means of ID and making any plastic ID card outside will not suffice.

I don't have friends....I only have like 3 friends....and they are all at SCH
