Hey guys,

I posted earlier asking if anyone knew of any good sites that i could check out regarding online currency exchange. well i found one. http://www.cfd.tradeviewforex.com has worked with Nigerians before, and i think it would do all us who are seriously considering doing some online forex trading. Let me know what you think!

Anyone interested in Forex dealing should be very careful. Don't play a blind man's game. If you don't know technical analysis inside out, and be breathing chart patterns you will lose your hard earned cash,

bawomolo:

Politics is now an investment or business?

People that go into politics go there to secure a profession like your own. They get paid based on what the person paying for your service thinks you are worth. in politics it is the same, the more they lie the more the people vote for them.

But there is another twist to the equation. The more investment you put in the more you expect out. If i sell my houses in the UK to be come a governor, common sense tells me that as soon as I win the race, i need to buy back my house plus about 2 more to pay for all the risks. After that I can think of serving you guys. But if the deal from start is considered to be charity, I will roll up my sleeves and get to work from day one.

That does not mean i am in support of the greedy ones

I have been following this tread for a while, I need Tint doc for 4 Jeeps but I hate to deal with people like this. If  this is really genuine way not upload one let's see. Politics / Re: Is Your State Governor Performing.,? by BAC: 1:57pm On Oct 20, 2009
All of you keeps talking about how these people chop money. I could remember a friend of mine. I won't mention his name. he is still a governor now. Before he became gov, his party called a fund raiser for him, here in London. We all contributed, as at that time no one knows him. Before the end of the election I asked him a question, How were you able to fund this campaign because I know the amount that was raised that day was not much. He said he had to sell 2 houses here in London.

I asked him another question. How would you make these venture profitable? I won't tell you his answer, but put yourself in his shoes. Firstly won't you buy your houses back? or buy something better before listening to the public's needs.

That does not mean I agree with those chop and quench, But any business that is not profitable is not worth doing. Politics is profitable only if common sense is mixed.

i dont really think its wise to involve the soldiers.cos that is like taking the laws into your hands.u should be very careful with whatever step u are going to take cos somethings u do might change the whole story to boomerang on u.in my own opinion,if u are to even involve the soldiers,u have to inform the police first.and i still think its very necessary for u to go to wherever he claims your car is and see if its true, cos i doubt if hes telling the truth about this.

@Ayodeji,
that is true we are not ruled by the military at the moment that paradigm will not work.

sorry, but buying a car in nigeria in no way makes you immune to being swindled - you have no idea how many dealers sell refurbished flood damaged cars - which is why there's so much insistence on VIN numbers these days .

the other day - in my company - one of those new crossover mrecedes SUVs was bought for an oga - within two weeks it began misbehaving . that was when the vin number was checked, and they found that the car was a flood damaged vehicle - which had been sold as brand new. the dealer was blowing grammer about what were they expecting - did they think they could get the car at that price? any way, na between him and the procurement guys tongue

@oyb I understand what you mean but imagine if your boss brought that from Coutonu, who will he complain to about the condition of the car. And I can see why your oga was swindled as well. He did not do his due diligence, how would you buy a car without checking the vin, and it is a simple fact that you get what you pay for, don't let price blind you. I brought all my vehicles in lagos and I have not had any problems, the same place i buy them, they do the registration for me the same day and i drive it away. I was tempted to buy a tundra on my last visit to the US but I could not bear all the burden of shipping clearing etc. And when i got to lagos I found the same spec in lagos, but a bit more expensive. But for me it cuts out the risks. And To my surprise also I noticed that when the police stops my cars and check the papers, there is a receipt from the association where the car was brought, as soon as they see that receipt they respect it so much they just let you go. It was one police in Ikeja roundabout that told us the usefulness of that receipt.

My advise Buy your cars at lagos. And make sure all papers are correct.
Car Talk / Re: Five Weeks I Have Order My Car From Coutonu by BAC: 9:14pm On Oct 17, 2009
Simple truth. Buy your car in Naija. If anything goes wrong you can go back to the dealer. If the issue is money. Save save save till you can afford one.

That is my own opinion. Don't do anything Illegal. If people ask you simply say NO. By that I mean in all business transactions not only in buying a car, keep your life clean and you will have peace and increase in due time. The easiest way to get poorer is to cut corners

I hope you get your money back.

One of the disadvantages of Niaja is the amount of people losing their lives on the so called express roads. If you visit Naija and you are unfortunate to have an accident, you are dead. I read that in the operation room they use torch lights. Thank God for NHS

God bless the UK

@Saridon.

I know what you are trying to do. I did it some years back, and Nigerians nearly broke my back bone after losing over £200,000.

Trust me don't do business in Nigeria. Apart from Real Estate. Most people In Naija are wicked, family included. They are the most creative people I have come across, they use their creativity to tell you why things should not work after you have given them the opportunity. Before opportunity, they can argue a business case till they condition your mind to believe all businesses are profitable. And for every 7 words that comes out of their mouth 7 are lies.

Trust me. I have a real estate business there, I have been through hell and back. There is no day I leave the UK to visit without having someone in my mind to fire, I am out to protect my customers, but this people are highly educated but their mind cannot read into a vision. In that country also be careful of the so called born again. I am born again don't misunderstand me, but I have seen dare devils in the church than on the streets.

So be careful. As I speak Research In Motion is looking very cheap on the Nasdaq. Buy and keep, blackberry will sell well this xmas everyone in the UK wants one. ticker symbol is RIMM. my price target is Minimum $85.00

Good luck

America is very generous. God save America. That country continues to bless people,  But I still hate the way immigration treats people at JFK though, and I hate their junk food. But I like Obama. I hate states like califonia. I love the size of their houses and I hate what they show on TV.

finally, those of us that live in Britain love their taxes and hate their Health services. And they swear too much, it make me sick. And the owe too much they live on debt

So for those that have won. Good luck. Go to America be don't copy their life style

And one more, that country is the poorest in the world. I have never seen people as poor as in America. By that I mean self inflicted poverty, serious one ooo

Why not find someone in Nigeria that can make one and just buy all the handles, knob, inches and other accessories from here. Just make sure the quality of the material used is good.

Whaooo. That sounds like a good idea. Time to visit Magnet. What i was looking for is someone to show me by picture what they have on offer, calling you guys from the UK is a waste of my time. I think this idea will work magic for me ,

Thanks again

Don't go until you speak to a lawyer. There are also very good forums on the internet with good lawyers contributing. Dig down and find a loop hole you can use for the home office,  Never say never again,  you have paid you share to the UK economy you deserve more.

Recently there was a leakage that Sanusi will in the very near future supress the exchange rate from the present to $1 - N80 which will be a welcome artificial development. But going by his recent announcement that he printed N420billion to save the recently hammered five banks and will even print more money to save more banks, we all know that printing money weakens the already beaten naira. When that time comes for the naira to exchange for $1 - N80 Nigerians should take full advantage of it. Buy, store, observe, and speculate! Because i doubt the lifeline for which the exchange will remain $1 - N80, since there is no infastructural, Manufacting backing, employment, and stability backing to the naira, above all the singular backing the Naira has always received since the 70s in under threat to technological advancement and ethinic uprising.

Sanusi is going to Kill nigerians. $1-N80? i don't think so. Nigeria is not selling anything except the trickle oil. And don't forget Nigeria now has competitors.
The more money he prints the more we should expect naira to fall. The stability we are seeing now will be short lived. I was expecting these Bank situation to drop the value of Naira drastically. I think they are backing up the naira with the rest of the foreign reserve. I don't know how long they can hold on though. But What I know is ,  it is coming so take cover
