Just like Osinbajo once headed the Economy, Shettima, with his wealth of experience in fighting insurgency, will be a big asset in containing the security challenges confronting Nigeria.

This is highly unnecessary and could have some negative implications. You're contesting with someone for something, why do this to the fellow? And how do you think your supporters will see/take this?

1. Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is a political Genius. God made him like that and no one can change that fact.

2. In the Nigerian politics of today, Asiwaju is a master strategist.

3. Despite the fact that I never wanted a muslim-muslim ticket, I honestly gave an analysis that a muslim-muslim ticket is an easier way for Tinubu to become president.

4. Out of every 10,000,000 Nigerians saying Tinubu will lose because of muslim-muslim ticket, 9,500,000 of them wouldn't vote the man even if he chose a muslim-christian ticket. Why will any smart politician be stupid and lose and lose the election because he wants to please 500,000 people when he can do a muslim-muslim ticket and get bloc votes from a region that want muslim-muslim ticket. In the end it's all about numbers

5. Most of Bola Tinubu core lovers and supporters in the South don't love him because he's a muslim, they love him because they love him. So, don't keep wasting your time.

6. I have always predicted that Kwankwaso would eventually step down for either Tinubu or Atiku. Going by the present calculations, Tinubu has very high chances of bringing Kwankwaso to his side.

7. To Peter Obi and his supporters, you guys are doing a very good job. However, I need you to note that you guys are indirectly working against Atiku and working in favour of Tinubu's presidency.

8. At the end of the day, Tinubu would cruise to presidency. Atiku will come second and Peter Obi will be distant 3rd or fourth (depending on some circumstances)

9. Asiwaju Bola Ahmed is the next president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. I pray that his time as President favours Nigeria and Nigerians.

10. After Tinubu's 8 years, A Northerner will do 8 years and a SouthSoutherner will do 8years after him.

Lol. And the South East? They're not going to like this, you know!

I don't know much about Shettima, but for him to have been picked by Tinubu means he is good and can deliver, politically too.

For Tinubu's competence, his track record speaks for him.

Beyond this insult, the most imb£cilic set of idjiots are the people who, in a bid to protect their own intestinal interest, argue that a Muslim-Muslim ticket in a highly volatile multi-religious Nigeria, , doesn't matter as long as they are competent (As if there are no competent Christians in the North). If it doesn't matter, why did some people give that as a condition for supporting Tinubu who himself is a Muslim? This is the fuulish justification we were given when Buhari was filling all sensitive positions with only people from a particular region and religion. Today, how far?

And because for some of our Daddy G.O and Men of God, the bl00d of money appears ticker than the bl00d of Christ, this insult might be left unresponded to. Some of them may even find a way to justify this even if it means standing the Bible on its head like Pastor Poju did when he turned the definition of faith upside down in a desperate bid to disguise his support for Tinubu. Pa Adeboye will deliberately play the 'see no evil and hear no evil' card. Bakare will most definitely find a way to defend this as a way of paying back his debt to Tinubu. No surprise in his own case.

But I trust the irrepressible Bishops David Oyedepo and David Ibiyeomie. Those two have never been found wanting when it comes to defending the interests of their flock.

As for CAN, I want to believe they are preparing a ROBUST counter measure beyond mere rhetorics.

Go sidon! As Christian or Muslim, what have you specifically benefited from the current Muslim-Christian ticket? Insecurity, unemployment, economic woes know this religious sentiments?

I know it somehow insensitive in a heterogeneous society like ours, but competence should be our watchword.

Same for other ethnic groups. We have many yorubas being educated because they and/or their forebears had easy access to education. Remember the Awolowo free education programme in the west.

The narrative has largely shifted now though. yorubas can no longer be comfortably said to be dominating in this area

Politically, he said the truth. Political parties aim to get or retain power. At all cost! Presently, a Muslim-muslim ticket is APC's best bet. After all, what have non-Muslims gained so far from having a Christian as VP?

Pres Buhari is also stepping down for a Yoruba man to take over as the presidential aspirant of the ruling party.
A deep analysis of 24 years of democratic rule shows that no Party has ever won a national election with an Igbo man on the ballot.
