how many channels does hitv have for now. can i get only the smartcard.

u can watch premier league on foxsocer channel on 55 degree west and on digial plus packages on 30 degree west,although only limited channels are working for now,they are moving to nagra 3.

As 4 the guy with mytv and etv problem press 6969,6969 and leave it on the station for like 5 minute,it will work.

hi guys if u want to watch premier league for free,read this: get 1.8m dish,c-band lnbf,any free to air receiver. use this frequency 3468v 4340 and face the west i.e 55 degree west. u will get fox soccer channel. Dont forget,donot use the di-electric in the lnbf. U can get it from any part of Nigeria. It is in opposte direction of mytv. Contact 08066061677 for more info.

My candid advice to hitv is to allow us to buy only the smartcard since most people already have dish and decoder.

4 dstv,remember, 70 channels goes for 9k,while hitv only 12 cahnnels for 4k. Also the picture quality is no comparable. Dstv u pay monthly,while hitv is yearly.

what are you are people saying? are you people not aware of glo and other telecom operators story? mtn,vmoblie and mtel started before glo,but glo gave them a run for their money. So I see no reason why hitv should no give dstv a run for its money. One, hitv is too expensive for 4k per month,only 13 channels? The worst is that you have to an annual subscription. How many nigerians can afford 55k at once. They are Nigerians and they know our weakness.

The frequency is 3468v- 4340. Remember to remove the di-electric.

hello nairalanders,do u know u can watch some matches of premier league in nigeria for free. All u need is 1.8m dish and c-band LNBF and FTA decoder. Fox soccer channel Jamaica is on 55 degree west. Am wathching it in my house. the signal is very high,it is higher when u remove the glass like object in the LNBF. Try it.

Please on which sat can I get Channel Tv for free and what is the frequency. I know a lot about both free to air and encrypted channels, I watched more than 900 stations in my house.

Despite all the money so far spent by govt on this organisation,the service is still nothing to write home about. the same old faces and old equipment. Check nta on intesat you will think you are watching analogue tv. Some analogue are even better. Nigerian govt is used to buying equipment that are already outdated for new ones. Check out Tvs of some countries that are not as rich as nigeria,eg Tanzania,cameroun,madagasca etc.

What should we to arrest this situation?comment please.
