easyyoke:The emboldened statement is funny to me. Kindly read my initial comment again. You can't possibly know better than Starlink's technical support who checked on their system and informed me that I am experiencing high level interferance. It's funny how you can make bold claim of something you know nothing about. One would think you work for Starlink or you helped in designing the Starlink system itself. Kindly refrain from making blanket statements on things you have zero direct knowledge of. No offense meant, by the way. Like I said earlier, I am simply passing information. 5 Likes |
Phones / Re: My SpaceX Starlink Internet Experience In Lagos, Nigeria by BadMaster: 10:44pm On Feb 14 |
So, I have been using Starlink since February last year, and it was excellent. I use to get speeds up to 300Mbps+. After moving to a new location, I observed that my speed really tanked. In fact, I have not seen 200Mbps. Initially, I thought my dishy or cable was faulty, so I asked Starlink support to carry out checks on my kits for confirmation. Starlink support reverted back to me after thorough checks(according to them), informing me that my dishy and cable are in excellent conditions, however, I am experiencing extremely high level interferance. They then asked me to capture my installation and my immediate surrounding. I did as advised. The thing is, I live directly under a large mast/base station. According to Starlink, the base station is the culprit, and there's little to nothing I can do to improve Starlink service. Though I could try to move the dishy around my roof, but given the proximity, it would probably not change anything. This is for your information only. In case anyone is experiencing similar challenges. 6 Likes |

What's this nonsense I just read? So, how is it a crime that she goes out with someone at a particular time of the day? How is it their business? The kind of nonsense happening in Kano and no one is condemning it, is preposterous. It's ridiculous. 4 Likes |

As an Arsenal supporter for over 30 years now, I assure you that there's little to no difference between Arsenal and Nigeria super eagles. They'll always disappoint you when it matters the most. 10 Likes 1 Share |

ibawon:Ibawon, this isn't a good advise. As far as I know, once your location or your Starlink hexagonal map reaches capacity, there's no way to change your service address to any address within that hexagonal map, unless outside of it, which doesn't always work. In fact, the error below is what you will get if you try doing so. 1 Like

Throwback:Maybe there was a time you could deceive some people with this nonsense postulations. Well, not anymore. This government has proven to be useless, and nothing good can come from this government. Before you call me ipob and sort of names, check my posts before and after the 2023 elections, I supported Tinubu because I thought he knew how to turn this country around. It's now obvious that he is very clueless. 1 Like |

I see so many idiots defending this move by Dangote. What happened to all the crude oil we have been producing and still producing? Why isn't Dangote getting from our own crude oil? Why is he importing from far away US? And some fools actually believed Dangote refinery would make petroleum products cheaper. Isn't it idiotic to think it would be cheaper when he is importing for refining? Moreover, this would further deplete our US dollar reserve. This country is useless. 2 Likes |
