The card that works for me all the time is Providus Classic Naira MasterCard. It's issued instantly at the bank. The good thing about the card is that, even though it is denominated in Naira, it can be used to make purchases in dollars. The only sites/services it doesn't work on are those that specifically require a US billing address.

If I were you, I would get the card ASAP.

Just like PotatoSalad, I have to disagree. I can't remember the last time I got 200Mbps when connected to the Starlink router. I have performed multiple tests and I could never get 200Mbps on my Starlink router anymore. However, with my Nokia Beacon 2 router, which is a WiFi 6 router, connected via ethernet, I get 200Mbps+, sometimes 300Mbps+. Both routers are in same location, and connected to their 5Ghz band.

Of course, when I got my Starlink in February last year, 200Mbps to 300Mbps wasn't difficult to achieve at the time. But when my location reached capacity and almost everywhere within my state, it became very difficult.

I have done it severely. Concerning your question, it depends on how much data you use per month. I use an average of 1TB per month, so to me, it isn't worth it.

My only advice to you is, if you can afford Starlink, get it now, and forget about MTN.

Glo only cover 4 states too. Emailed them this morning and they sent me a reply saying they only cover Lagos, Port harcourt and Abuja. I wonder why all these states be the first for everything.

If you are in Lagos, then there's every likelihood that your location has reached capacity, so you won't be able to get on the residential plan. Your only option is Roam (Mobile regional).

It has been 38k since June 7 last year when they started accepting Naira denominated cards. At the time, dollar was around 600 -700. Is it now that dollar is still above 1k that they are going to reduce the subscription fee?
