I had stated all these above. Why do you aggressively embrace the "facts" that incriminate the Igbos and reject with passion the ones that state otherwise? Btw, why were subsequent Coups like the one of July 29, 1966 not labelled "Northern" coup? Let's learn the lessons associated with this gory tales and move on. #peace
You need to realize that it cannot be termed a Northern coup because a Northerner ousted another Northerner. That is not the case of the Igbo coup.

The Igbos need to realize that what they are suffering today in Nigeria is a result of what their military leaders did in that coup.

It was never an Igbo affair...there's more than enough evidences to debunk that Igbo Coup theory. Caveat: I'm not Igbo
Another article or report stated that, the coup plotters planned to lay siege in the three regions and kill their premiers. Why was that of the Eastern region left alive and no siege was layed in the East?

One of the coup plotters Ifeajuna was Azikiwe's cousin.
Zik travelled for vacation and should have returned before the coup but never returned until after the whole situation died down as reported by his personal assistant who went with him and came back home before the coup.

Why did Ironsi not court martial the coup plotters and execute them instead threw them in Eastern prisons?

All these questions begging for answers is why the whole Nigeria believed it was an Igbo coup.

She goofed big time with this dressing, she is trying to copy Gucci mane's wife where she rocked this same Gucci from top to bottom. Unlike Tiwa, Gucci mane's wife wore a Gucci socks on a Gucci sneakers but she is putting on Socks on an high heel. Only pop socks goes on high heels.

PoliticsRe: 2019: PDP Won’t Need Campaign To Defeat Buhari – Babangida Aliyu by bakynes(m): 8:44am On Jan 11, 2018
PDP shd take their campaign to SW and NC these two regions are usually the decider. NE and NW definitely be going to Buhari. SS and SE for sure is PDP.

Considering the terror Fulani herdsmen have melted on the Benue,Taraba and Plateau then if PDP campaigns well they shd win the NC.

The SW on the other hand, do not really go with any Party and always vote based on Performance and since the Buhari admin has been tough on all Nigerians then if PDP campaigns well in the SW they shd win Buhari in 2019.

the real owners of Lagos (igbos) has gone for the Xmas and new year celebration, so such thing is made to happen every yuletide season

70 % of Lagos citizens are non indigenes of which Igbo constitute about 40% of that number
Stop chunning out useless statistics from your Bedroom. I have friends from other SW states that have gone to their home states as well, Igbos aren't the only ones travelling back to East.

If Igbos make up 40% that means Yorubas, foreigners and other tribes in Nigeria make up 60%? Keep deluding yourself as well as your flat head brothers.

no go ever ear word.

Even Everton invested more than Arsenal.
Bought only Lacazette, got Kolasinac for free, sold Gibbs,Perez,Gabriel and Chamberlain. Using small boys like Chambers ,Maitland-Niles and you want to achieve something.

APGA is truly an Eastern party, in 2015 Gubernatorial election in Lagos, they fielded an Igbo man as the Governorship candidate they didn't even get registered to run. It shows you INEC recognizes indigenous people only to be Governors of their state. I am surprised they fielded a Yoruba man as the Governorship in Ogun state, I thought they said non-indigenes have more population than indigenes in Ogun state.

Nobody says there are no other tribes in SS.

I have never seen you get provoked when you hear of 19 northern states...I have never seen you coward asking why the Hausa/Fulani wants to forcefully attach themselves to the people in NC and middle belt regions. You become very violent when you here SE and SS. Why.
So because they do the Northern Governors Forum or Northern Elders Forum now mean all the tribes in the North are Hausa/Fulani. What of the Southern Governors Forum held recently in Lagos.

We have 6 Geopolitical zones in Nigeria and over 300 ethnic groups with Igbo been one of the largest.

The SS region has close to 100 ethnic groups Igbos inclusive so why do attache by force by saying SE/SS.

NC region has close to 100 ethnic groups as well,Yorubas inclusive, why are we not saying SW/NC.

The majority of Oil we are sharing is not from the Igbo areas of the SS so what's the fuse with SE/SS besides a Yoruba sub group in Ondo called Ilaje has Oil.

Stories.
You cannot be taking oil from the SS/SE to develop SW, NE, NC, NW and then want to keep people from traveling about.

Accept One Nigeria and all that comes with it.
Una don start with this SS/SE attache by force. The oil in Ondo is more than that of Abia and Imo put together X2.

SS is different from SE

Do you think I support this feeding bottle system? FYI I don't believe we shd be sharing the petrol dollar from the SS Niger delta states. The Oil in Ondo and the little in Lagos with other mineral resources in the SW should be enough to develop the region.
PoliticsRe: Enough Of This Igbos And The Thoery Of Dominance And Phobia by bakynes(m): 9:45am On Dec 30, 2017
The truth is that, the way Igbos reason is different from the way others reason and that is why there is always a conflict of interest with the Igbos.

An average Igbo man still doesn't understand even though we say we are one Nigeria, everybody has their boundaries and jurisdictions. We are ethnic nations within a geographical boundary like Awolowo said.

An Igbo man believes that, so far he is a Nigerian, he has the same right as a Yoruba or Hausa Fulani man on his ancestral land and should be given equal opportunity like the locals.

Even in America and Britain, an English man cannot have an equal right as a Scott in Scotland. A black man still doesn't have equal right as a white man in America.

This mentality is why the Igbos are having problems with other tribes in Nigeria.

Every other tribe seem to understand this logic but only the Igbos believe otherwise. Some how in the subconscious of an Igbo man he believes you don't have equal right on his own ancestral land but believes since he is better than you, he should have equal right with you on your own ancestral land.
PoliticsRe: Enough Of This Igbos And The Thoery Of Dominance And Phobia by bakynes(m): 9:30am On Dec 30, 2017
This is the kind of boasting that attracts hate towards the Ndigbo nation. Not only in Nigeria but from different African and Asian race.

If you are succeeding in your various endeavors, Glory be to God. You are not the only tribe doing well, in fact there is still much work to be done.

Even God hates pride so stop claiming superiority over other tribe.

you should read this:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:Port_cities_and_towns_of_the_United_States_Gulf_Coast

Note that Florida alone has 6 and in all the USA has 552 ports. Ports mean trade, trade means more business, more business means better economy! So I completely agree with all SS states on this. Let's even try to create another Lagos somewhere else. Abuja would have been good, but e no get water. Empirical evidence shows cities by the sea are usually more prosperous.
Stop comparing US to Nigeria, they make ships, they manufacture goods and they have a huge economy. Each state is a country on its own with many states having a bigger GDP than most European countries.

How many ships will berth in Edo and Bayelsa ports that will cause traffic of ships and inturn bring in IGR for the state.

Some projects are not viable, they should use the money for something else that will bring in revenue.

all of the above mention sea port are not really working so the need to build workable ones are there , it will also encourage competition in the region which is good for business
They are not working because of low patronage, most ships berth in Lagos ports .They should be talking to the NPA to divert more ships there and reduce the freight cost to encourage people to use them not building new ones that will still go through the same issue as the ones before.

Is just like building a 4 flat building in the middle of a slum with nobody to afford the rent and the landlord is still trying to build more flats even when the ones he built have not been occupied.

Most of the governors start this projects because of the huge funds involved. It's easy to loot with this kind of project.

The coastal States need just one mega Seaport and one airport. Then massive rail lines that connect all the States to the Sea Port and airport.

That way, each state can avoid competing with each other.

What people looking TonyeBarcanista hasn't realised is Ogun State gets the largest share of FDI coming into the country and it doesn't have a Sea Port or an airport. Ogun's State marketing is simply "We are one hour away from Lagos with more land".
I agree 100% if we talk now, they will say na Jealousy.
PoliticsRe: Governor Dickson Pays Army N400m For Seaport Survey by bakynes(m): 2:00pm On Dec 29, 2017
AZeD1:
Dude you are talking with Airheads here. It's the same thing with governors building airports.

Rather than spend that money on a sea port, the governor should be building rail lines to Onne and the Port Harcourt airport.
That is what I am saying you get sense rather than every state building Seaport why not build rail lines with cargo coaches that will move your goods down to your state and relieve the roads of pressure from large trailers and tankers.

I am pretty sure if all coastal states build a Seaport some will definitely experience little or no patronage.

And what do u have to say about the badagary seaport by the Lagos State govt, most likely not a waste of resources and a laudable project abi?? U try with ur reasoning.
At least Lagos has the advantage of population and Ships can be diverted to the Badagry and Lekki Seaport as Apapa and Tincan are experiencing over patronage. These ports will also serve other SW states. But having ports in every state in SS with Rivers having two ports(PH and Onne ports) already and Cross-River having one (Calabar)and about building another a deep seaport makes it a total of 8 ports in the SS region don't you think that some of these ports will experience little or no patronage?
PoliticsRe: Governor Dickson Pays Army N400m For Seaport Survey by bakynes(m): 3:36pm On Dec 28, 2017
IamEmem:
How it your problem if the governors of the SS decides to build deep seaport for economic growth..Bad belle.

so in your mind the Apapa seaport should be the only functional port in Nigeria abi?
BTW Lagos state government is also planning the Badagry seaport, so what is your problem.
The Bayelsa people have the right to own a deep seaport port to boost trade and commerce.
Be reasonable, building Seaport in every SS state is not sustainable, some of them will definitely experience low or no patronage. Baylesa can always use the Seaport in its neighbouring states like PH port, Onne port and Warri port. Edo also can also use the one in Warri.

Edo and Baylesa building their own will most likely amount to waste of resources that can be channelled into something else.
PoliticsRe: Governor Dickson Pays Army N400m For Seaport Survey by bakynes(m): 8:54am On Dec 27, 2017
TonyeBarcanista:
This is a welcome development
Which welcome development? PH has a Port as well as Warri,Calabar and they are neighbouring states to Baylesa. Must every state with access to Sea have a Seaport?

All SS states have plans to build a deep Seaport how visible is that?
Edo wants to build Gelegele deep Seaport, Cross-River wants to build a new deep seaport ,Ibaka deep Seaport in Akwa-ibom, Now Agge deep Seaport in Bayelsa with the existing ones in Calabar,Warri,PH and Onne ports.

Some will definitely experience low patronage because ships can only berth/land in a few ports around the same axis.

Now what you don't understand is pep last season at bayern already knew he was coming to city, he practically told his Spanish friends in charge of recruitment in city to get DE bruyne, and sterling for him, not sure of otamendi, pellegrini wasn't in charge of players purchase, pep started planning one year ahead of his city reign
That is mere speculation, you don't have that information that he asked the scout at City to buy those players.

First of all, the team Guardiola inherited had not just won the league as you claim, it was THREE seasons ago that city had won the league when Pep inherited the team he got.

Mou and Pep had one year in their various new teams to observe things and improve, so stop attacking only Pep for not performing well in EPL last season, he finished 3rd and Mou finished SIXTH! So who was more shitty in the EPL last season?

Now Pep had built his team and is doing magic, why didn't Mou build his team as well? He went buying useless players, its his fault that as a coach he doesn't have a good eye for good players. Look at the players running things for Pep like Fernandinho, Otamendi, De brunyne, Sané, Sterling; Mou would never had bought such players or make them become the best they are today. Lastly Pep is playing beautiful football and Mou is playing negative football and the results are showing, when the season started and Man Utd was winning, I'm sure people like you and Mou never complained, you all thought the team had what it takes, now reality has hit you guys you are making excuses, Mou has spend huge money already in the transfer market and even if he spends more money in January he would still come out with nothing, the difference between him and Pep is that Pep's tactics and philosophy is working magic while Mou's tactics are outdated and as usual all he ever does at such point is give EXCUSES!
You how made a good point but my own point of correction is that Pep didn't buy Kevin Debruyne,Otamendi and Sterling, Pellegrini bought them Mancini bought Fernandinho but he did buy Sane.
