PoliticsRe: Its Official : Nigeria is Cameroons BITCH !! by bakynes(m):
If we actually take a look at the definition of the word "Government" you will realize Nigerians so not have one. We only have Rulers not leaders not Government.

The primary role of a government is to protect the lives and properties of its citizens and also protect it territorial boundaries but the people we have are not doing that.

No good roads, no pipebourne water, epileptic Electricity supply, no enabling environment for its people to strive.

Each and every family provides Security, Water, Electricity for themselves so where does the word "Government" come into play here.

The earlier we separate this hell hole called Nigeria, the better for all of us.

Hausa-Fulani is the stumbling block that is holding every other tribe from progressing. We are not even stagnant as a country we are moving back to stone age and primitive times.

Yea .. i agree with the stain.. but you can eat without getting soiled. plus most likely it could be these companies that have lunch served to staff, and someone is offering you what they have, you say no go an buy me snack?
See you don't eat too much when going for an interview, it can make your stomach uneasy, you could feel like using the toilet so best to avoid proper food before your interview.

Besides I didn't say she should say "Go and buy me snacks" she can say "I wouldn't mind snacks please" just put it in a polite way.
Jobs/VacanciesRe: Is It Wrong For This Young Lady To Have Accepted Lunch Before Being Interviewed? by bakynes(m): 8:07am On Feb 01, 2018
Lemme make a few points here;

First, she wasn't tested with the food besides she was offered lunch she didn't request for it.

Second,She should have told the personel that asked her if she wanted lunch, that she wanted snacks. Why would a job seeker be eating oily food when she has an interview before her, that could make her too heavy or unfit for the interview.

Finally, there is nothing bad accepting to eat if offered since they wasted her time for 3 hours, it's only normal to offer her lunch, I have been to quite a few interviews and they did offer us snacks not food, so she should have requested the personel buy her snacks instead of food.
Since most HR personnel interviewers access your dressing based on the Job,she was simply Disqualified because of the stain not for accepting food.

Well everyone seems to be happy for this deal.
Wenger is happy
I am happy
Giroud is happy.
Arsenal fans are happy
Ozil signs a new contract and he is happy.
Sanchez is happy
But Arsenal urgently needs to sign a decent center back and a good defensive midfielder..
Gunners for life..
I hear Alex Song has been released by Rubin Kazan to train and play for Arsenal. It's a similar situation to what happened when New York Red Bull released Henry to train and play for Arsenal if you remember in 2011.

If that's true that should at least make up for our defensive midfield for the season until summer when we find a good defensive midfielder to buy.

Lol. This is not logic. It wasn't Lagos that was the capital but Lagos Island? Lololol. More like Abuja is not the capital of Nigeria but just Asokoro. It's not Ikeja that is the capital of Lagos but Alausa. Lol. I won't even argue this or any of the others.
It seems this guy just likes to argue and he is hell bent on the victim mentality.

The guy you quoted was telling you there is a difference between Lagos state and Lagos the Former Federal capital. Colony of Lagos and FCT Lagos is different from Lagos State. 80% of Lagos state today was carved out from the Western region where Awolowo was premier.

Lagos State today=Part of Western region+FCT

How can a party field a Non-indigene as a Governorship candidate, is Lagos indigenous to Igbos? Population or no Population nobody will allow such. You have to understand that any other tribe bearing Yoruba names but are not Yoruba got their culture influenced one way or the other with Yoruba but the name Fikayo is a Yoruba name whether you are from Itsekiri or Isoko or whatever.

Mugu whether Igbo or Hausa bares Fikayo or not doesn't change the fact the name is a Yoruba name.

My Pastor did a Baby dedication last Sunday and named a Baby born into an Urhobo family a Yoruba name. It doesn't excuse the Child from been Urhobo but the name itself is a Yoruba name.

So you believe, you think Education is measured with the best state in WAEC. Am sure you saw the thread where Yorubas led in a list of Nigerians with the highest number of Journals.

SW has the highest number of Universities and Higher institutions in Nigeria. University of Ibadan and Covenant University leading in Nigeria and been listed in Africa's best Universities.

Ekiti having the highest number of Professors. Highest number of Lawyers, best Lawyers and Senior Advocates in Nigeria are all Yorubas.

Keep deluding yourself thinking you have overtaken Yoruba's in Education because of Anambra topping in WAEC.

your ignorance is complicated because you dont know you are ignorant!

do you know yoruba name for Islam?
It is IMOLE,coinned from the word MALI!
Yoruba Islamic Historian will tell you Islam came to yorubaland from MALI,specifically through Malian traders in 15th century, during these period hausas are pagiansno

the first two mosques in yorubaland were built in Oyo and Iwo in 15th century while uthman dan fordio west africa jihad happened in 1804 to 1808 which spread islam through hausaland.

Islam also came to the southwestern Yoruba -speaking
areas during the time of the Mali Empire . In his
Movements of Islam in face of the Empires and
Kingdoms in Yorubaland , Sheikh Dr. Abu-Abdullah
Adelabu supported his claims on early arrival of Islam
in the southwestern Nigeria by citing the Arab
anthropologist Abduhu Badawi, who argued that the
fall of Koush southern Egypt and the prosperity of the
politically multicultural Abbasid period in the
continent had created several streams of migration,
moving west in the mid-9th Sub-Sahara .[10]

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Islam_in_Nigeria

Yorubas came in contact with Islam around the 14th
century during the reign of Mansa Kankan Musa of
the Mali Empire. According to Al-Aluri, the first
Mosque was built in Ọyọ-Ile in AD 1550 although,
there were no Yoruba Muslims, the Mosque only
served the spiritual needs of foreign Muslims living in
Ọyọ. [citation needed] Progressively, Islam came to
Yoruba land, and Muslims started building Mosques:
Iwo town led, its first Mosque built in 1655 followed
by Iṣẹyin, in 1760; Lagos, 1774; Ṣaki, 1790; and
Oṣogbo, 1889. [citation needed] In time, Islam spread
to other towns like Oyo (the first Oyo convert was
Solagberu), Ibadan, Abẹokuta, Ijẹbu-Ode, Ikirun, and
Ẹdẹ before the 18th century Sokoto
jihad. [ citation needed ] Several factors contributed to
the rise of Islam in Yoruba land by mid 19th century.
Before the decline of Ọyọ, several towns around it
had large Muslim communities, unfortunately, when
Ọyọ was destroyed, these Muslims (Yoruba and
immigrants) relocated to newly formed towns and
villages and became Islam
protagonists. [ citation needed ] Second, there was a
mass movement of people at this time into Yoruba
land, many of these immigrants were Muslims who
introduced Islam to their host. [ citation needed ]

INFACT NO HAUSA FULANI HISTORIAN OR SCHOLAR WILL DE AR SAY IT THAT ISLAM CAME TO YORUBALAND FROM THEM
Remember that Fulani were not originally from this Geographical space called Nigeria they migrated from Mecca down to Mali, Senegal down to the old Songhai Empire. Even if there were traces of Mosque built in Old Oyo Empire majority did not practise Islam in Yoruba Land not until the Afonja-Alimi encounter that converted many Ilorin people and there after spread Islam throughout the entire Yoruba Land.

Utman Dan fodio only continued Jihad in Northern Nigeria. Fulani had already started a Jihad in Mali and other West African nations way way before Utman Dan fodio was born.

PoliticsRe: Who Is The Greatest Nigerian Ever? by bakynes(m): 7:33am On Jan 27, 2018
Without been biased as a Yoruba man,it has to be between these six men.

1.Wole Soyinka 2. Obasanjo and 3. Fela Kuti 4. Herbert Macauley 5. Nnamdi Azikiwe 6. Gani Fawehmi

That is not to say these men above didn't have their shortcomings as they were not perfect but they put Nigeria's interest at heart.

Every other person's like Ojukwu and Achebe represented Biafran interest so cannot be the greatest Nigerians.

Awolowo/Ahmadu Bello represented Yoruba and Hausa-Fulani interest respectively so they cannot be the greatest Nigerians.

Tafawa Balewa, we never really knew much about him except for the fact he was Prime Minister.

In Nigeria, even if you are hardworking where is the work to even do to survive. The uncertainty in Nigeria is just too much. Prices of food is increasing everyday with no increase in income. Tribalism and nepotism is rife here, the future is getting bleak everyday, no hope for our young ones.

That was a retaliatory coup by Northern officers because they were the most affected by the January 15 coup so there was no need to term it a Northern coup but in actual fact it was a Northern coup.
