As for your problem biggaboy, problem with smell could be sinus problem or problem in the front of the brain. Is it complete loss of smell or partial. See an Ear Nose and Throat surgeon and hopefully they might do a chemosensory test on you. Sometimes they might not find the cause. Good luck and no more advice to people on this site from you!!!

ojebird8, as biggaboy has said he is not a doctor. I would advice you to ignore him!!! Postinor is whats called morning after pill. As long as it is taken within 72 hours after intercourse it should work. Assuming you girl didn't vomit it up or didn't have diarrhoea at the time. It leads to irregular periods. Advice you use condom in the mean time. Hope you didn't continue with unprotected sex after she took the tablets. Might be worthwhile doing a pregnancy test

jydoh, do you have irritation in your scrotum(skin that houses your balls!!), your penis or your groin. The stickiness you are talking about, does that come from the tip of your penis. What time of the day do you notice it. What has this to do with your sexual life!!! Do you lack erection or not ejaculating properly. When you get your irritation, do you scratch at it. Need specifics and to the point

Potu, thanks for your contribution. Try and keep your answers to what the normal public can understand. Try and stick to simple obvious diagnosis. Apart from us doctors on the forum not many people will recognise urticaria, angioedema and atopic dermatitis.

esduny, following measles, chicken pox and shingles the rash or blisters sometimes leaves residual spots which are scars. Not a lot you can do about them. No injections or drugs will help them

mayodsaint, everyone stops growing at different times. Girls usually before guys. When your growth plate (epiphyseal plate) closes is when the bone there stops growing. On average in guys, its about 18 years.
Most people go about their day dehydrated. I always advice my patients to drink at least 3 litres of water daily. Brain works better when hydrated, less likely to develop kidney stones or infection, your stools are not rock hard. List is endless
There is a desert rat that passes sand as urine. This is because its kidney extracts all the water possible from its system. My little useless information of the day smiley

Naijaking, the whole idea of the moderator was that some charlatans were peddling their wares on our site. We always managed to get rid of them by power of argument or ignoring them. Now with moderator our advice seems to be disappearing. Maybe we should consult the organ grinder!!!!
I worked out you had given advice to aladunni by the tone of her/his replies. It would have been good to read the advice

Eczema skin disease treatment depends on how serious it is. Simple moisturising cream with no perfume or additives are best. When the skin dries, it cracks and infection might get in. Also try and avoid scratching. You will introduce infection from your fingernails to scratched surface. Some alternative medicine people feel there is a trigger food/thing. I have no objections to that type of thinking. If you find certain things or food trigger your eczema then avoid it.
Serious diseases might require antibiotic/steroid cream or tablets if very serious.

I know I am a bit of a luddite, but when we had no moderator we managed to get rid of the charlatans that tried to hijack this thread. Now we have a moderator, our advice seems to have been hijacked. Even as an experienced doctor I enjoy reading advice given by naijaking

Chidipupay, after a woman takes postinor2 (morning after pill), there is always a possibility of break through bleed. It should say so on the package

Scylla, seems as though you have been through the mill. The thing that has happened is that you seem to have been thoroughly investigated for your haematuria. The fact that they found nothing wrong should make you happy. I am sure they tested for tuberculosis and everything possible.
The thing with doctors is that if you are not satisfied with negative findings they will sometimes speculate. Patients even speculate more.
I dont know where you read osteoporosis being caused by vit K deficiency. That is wrong. Usually vit D deficiency. Unless you are a little white old lady avoiding sunlight, unlikely for you to have osteoporosis.
Slight scoliosis might require appropriate physiotherapy exercises or in your case yoga. By the way jogging sometimes causes haematuria!!!

You will all be glad to know my daughter just qualified as a doctor and will be starting her first job here in Scotland. She is hoping paediatrics will be her speciality. They now have what they call foundation year programs. She starts off with 4months paediatric surgery. Maybe one day I might introduce her to nairaland. She thinks I spend too much time on it anyhow!!!
