Hello house,
thank you all for the good work you do in assisting people here. Please, i am in a bit of a tight situation. I am currently filling the visa application form for my mom who plans to visit for 3 weeks but I am not sure how to calculate the finances. So, she earns as pension about 110,000 Naira and gets about 200,000 Naira from two children as monthly upkeep. She has a saving of about 700k.

I am the primary sponsor with over 6k pounds in my British account. My sister in Belgium is considering also coming in as a secondary sponsor with over 5k euros in her account. Her main reason is that she would also be coming over to the UK to see mom if she's granted the visa. (She already has a valid UK visit visa)
Now, I am not sure how to then calculate her total income, or how to fill certain questions in the form as shown below.

* Total amount of regular additional income that you get in a year. (is this salary + upkeep from us)

* how much do you plan to spend on this trip.

* Who is paying for your visit? And how much will they be paying towards your visit?

* do you think a co sponsor outside the UK is needed or would this make things more complicated?

Your kind advise would be very helpful please.

Please how long does the Nigeria passport online renewal process typically take.

For context i currently reside in the Uk and recently applied for my Nigeria passport renewal, I also paid an extra fee for online biometric enrolment.

Please any information on the timeframe for this request is welcome.

Hello Gurus in the house.
Please I am applying for a UK visitors visa for my mum and in the process of the filling the application, I am not sure of the duration of stay to enter.

For context my mum is looking to stay for about 2 months out of 6 months as I just put to bed but I am not sure the best or most suitable duration to enter on file.

Please any information regarding the process is welcome.

No, they will send to Lagos and you will get another notification that it is in Lagos then you can go for collection.

On the Egyptair one-way flight issue, As long as you have all the necessary documents, you will be cleared at the airport after signing an agreement that you will pay for your return flight if you are refused entry by a CBSA official at the POE in Canada.

It's not a must to book a return flight.

I didn't book a return flight!

Just hold your Letter of intro, Letter of Acceptance, Tuition receipt, Proof of fund, valid Intl passport with visa.

Then you will be made to sign that you will be the one to pay for your flight from Canada, if you are refused at the POE

I hope this helps.

please concerning this proof of fund after landing, how do you prove this if you have a sponsor? Do you carry a bank statement or what im really confused?

You can login to your bank app.

For percentage of school fees, I don't think there's a requirement. Just have the balance fees in your account

please can you explain the proof of funds part, what documents do i carry for that. Also, is there a required percentage of school fee i should have paid?

Thank you, this was my second application and the first was denied for finacial reasons, so this time around i ;
1) Got a co-sponsor, a relative was generous enough to assist with funding.
2)Added our family business account
3)Added my savings account
4) Some properties and their current value
That was about it, i labeled each document for my sponsors letters & Rewrote my SOP to sound more appealing. it took A month and 2 weeks to get my approval. i hope this helps.

By the grace of God ive gotten my PPR. please what are the requirements at the canadian border to get my study permit. Asides my medicals and acceptance letter? That is what documnets do i travel with ?

You have to apply for CBSA notes to know why you were denied.

How long is your programme?
How much was the POF?
Are self-sponsored or third party sponsored?
What type of programme is it? Masters or PGC?
what is the course and what do you presently do?
You can answer these so some insights can be shared to you by the house.

something about insufficient available funds. please what documents can i submit to strengthen my claim?
