On 6th December , I got first NSF mail and additional email requesting supporting work documents (9 years gap study).

7th December documents sent( offer letter, work identity card, payslip, Recommendation letter, NYSC certificate).later I discovered payslip wasn't necessary and even dangerous. Guys, keep your docs simple, if they didn't ask, don't give


Same day acknowledge the receipt of the documents.

8th December, got NSf mail

9th December, UKVI contacted my bank for account statement verification.

9th December, sent mail requesting the status of the visa application. Received response that my file has been escalated.

10th December, hey said they had escalated and will reply within 15 working days. Jeeezzzz

13th December, sent another mail informing them my application is Priority type, and shouldn't take that long. Same day, I got response that decision has been made.

14th December, received mail from TLS" documents ready and will be delivered through DHL,

15th December, 3:15pm DHL delivered passport to me, and there it was, my visa sitting pretty smiling at me.

It's been an emotional journey.

First time writer. If you notice my name, you will observe the Canada tag on it. I was denied a Canada student visa in October 2021. It was really devastating because the reason for the refusal wasn’t sensible as I was the sponsor of my elder brother who got his visa July but I was refused based on personal asset and financial status despite having 20m in my account, lands and 4 houses, only to find out in my gcms note they misrepresented the sponsor for my parents meanwhile I was the one sponsoring myself probably because of my age lol as I’m just 25. Anyways I reapplied and still waiting for their response. Fast forward to November, I took the alternative option and started my uk application.

Applied to the university of Sunderland - 5th of November
Got admitted- 9th of November (submitted my transcripts of 4.29 cgpa, ielts and certificate)
Did a walk in tuberculosis test and got it done on the same day 12th of November (just walk in and try your best, there’s no harm in trial, I did it and I got it done)
Tution Payment of 3500 pounds with Citibank, 24hours my telex was out (16th of November)
Sunderland CAS request and questinonaire 17th -30th November)
Sunderland issued my CAS on the 1st of December
Applied on the 2nd of December (Walk in Service paid the 42k for that, Priority, Vi centre)
Transferred to DMC on the same 2nd of December
No NSF mail
No additional documents, No dependant either Passport Collection request 2:pm 13th December 2021 document pick up same day 13th December.

Declared my Usa visitor visa refusal of 2018 and two Canada refusal (visitor and student, 2018 and 2021 respectively).

In all I give thanks to God and I congratulate everyone who has gotten their visas. Special thanks to all those who have contributed in one way or the other for others to have a successful application.

I don't really know much about bank statement. During my time I submitted 3months bank statement. All I know is that it's better to submit 30days bank statement instead of 28days.

My brother has a Canadian Express entry rejection (due to a wrong NOC choice) in 2020, and 2 US student visa interview refusals in 2021.

Does he need to declare all of these? Also, if he's declaring, does he have to include the rejection letters?

Hello friends, haven paid 2000 deposit as requested for my school tuition, I was thinking, after securing visa, can I use form A to pay balance of tuition, even before I get to UK? Balance is about 7k pounds. Will Nigerian banks be willing to pay for me, even after paying deposit?

Print from the day after so that the lump sum deposited in your account will not show.
It is better that way and makes ur application easier to consider.
No lump sum deposit, no red flag, just a regular account with regular transactions.

Sidenote, it would have been better if u made a transaction the day after u made ur deposit (even if it is N500 naira) because from the software that most banks use to generate ur account statement, the dates that will appear on ur statement of account are dates of transaction.

Example:
1)You made a lump sum deposit on the 1st of November

2) the next transaction u make is on the 7th of November

Now, if you try to print your statement from the 2nd,3rd,4th,5th,or 6th of November (in order to avoid the deposit of the lump sum u did on the 1st of November to show in ur account statement,
[/color]The starting date that will be on ur statement of account will be 7th of November as ur account didn't record any activity on the 2nd,3rd,4th,5th and 6th. [color=#990000]
In other words, u can not see:
-N0 transaction on 2nd November
-N0 transaction on 3rd November
-N0 transaction on 4th November
-N0 transaction on 5th November
-N0 transaction on 6th November. In essence, those dates will not appear on ur account statement because u had no transaction on those days. So, nothing to capture.

This means that ur 28 days statement computation/counting will be affected if u decide not to show the lump sum deposit as 2nd to 6th November (5 important days in the life of your application) will not be captured in ur statement of account.

Congrats on your visa. Gone through your posts, I wanted to ask. Say I need to show 10mil as proof of funds, and I have 7mil in the account as at 3rd nov. Then in sent 3mil to the account on 4th November from my personal account with another bank, making the 10mil, do I print statement from the 3rd Nov with balance of 7mil as opening balance (this wil show 3mil inflow from my other account), or print from 4th Nov with opening balance of 10mil??

I wanted to ask, if my program is for 2years in the UK, and I've paid tuition deposit for the first year maybe 2k out of 9k for example (for the first year), am I showing the remaining 7k for the first year in proof of funds (with 1year living expenses) or I have to show tuition fee for second year too?

Talking about transcript, i have an MBA degree here in naija and i have my transcript already. Can i use that MBA transcript to apply for Masters in poland? or it has to be my undergrad transcript. Problem with that is, im now resident in a different city from where i did my undergrad and i was told getting that one will take another 5weeks.

Anyone please advice, if i can go ahead with my MBA transcript.

I wish to fly to canada via a flight with stop overs in dubai, Milan, London and finally Torinto. I wish to do this so i could sight see and kill numerous birds with one stone. I know i might not even leave the airports but the feeling of "I don reach London before" is hungrying me.

I wish to ask, do i need visa for those places too, or my COPR is enough to transit through these cities, while enroute canada?

On my WAEC day of birth is 17th August, on my passport its 17th August, same with my Msc result. But on my birth certificate day of birth is 24th August as my birth was registered 3 years after and my dad made a mistake. On my Bsc. Transcript 24th August was written. The problem now is that WES highlighted that 24th August was written on my Bsc. The year of birth and month is the same thing its only the day that has discrepancies. What can I do.

I like you already. You obviously did go through the thread. And i understand how you feel. I felt confused too at the beginning of my journey, but trust me, it's pretty straightforward.

To your original question ......first, including your partner or not is dependent on you. But to do that, you both hav to prove you're married. Certificates and all that.

secondly, evaluate both of your degrees. It'll earn you more point. And coming back to your age mistake on certificate, you can use the neco if it's correct. If otherwise, do an affidavit at a court, as regards the age mistake and you're good to go. no matter where you're located, there are good guys on this forum who could help process your waec verification at waec office, lagos. i also got a lady here, never met her befoe but she gave an awesome service.

as for ABU verification, nothing s difficult my brother. Just start. You'll definitely surmount it with strong will and focus.

POINTS TO NOTE
Please before submitting your application READ! READ!! READ!!!. While we were waiting for ICES I spent time going through nairaland thread, searching for answers online. There was really nothing peculiar about our application but I needed to be sure we had crossed all the ts. Some of the questions I had:
1. Using renmoney as POF. I have read a good number of PPR scripts and only found one person who used it, I tried contacting the moniker but got no response. Renmoney has one clause on their certificate that says “We can choose to approve or decline a liquidation request” I was really worried about it even though they always approve all liquidation requests. If you are in these shoes, you can request for a Letter of reference that says you have access to the funds in your account anytime. I had gotten a reference letter without this statement and requested they added that line to the reference letter, my relationship officer said he wasn’t sure they could add that line to my letter. He eventually came through with the letter but this was a day after we submitted. Well turns out it is not an issue but give yourself peace of mind by getting that letter.
2. We claimed points for only one role in PA’s previous workplace even though PA had 2 roles with different NOCs at the same company. We added the second role to personal history. The letter of reference had both roles.
Ladies and gentlemen, before submitting your application, make sure you spend time gathering info, ANY DOUBT you have before submitting is VALID. I’ve seen people asking questions about doubts they had after submitting their application. Don’t be like them oo. Ask all your questions now, google as well.


->Take screenshots of your application before submitting in case of an ADR.
->Please make sure your scanned documents are clear, people get rejected for illegibility.
->Create folders for every placeholder on your laptop and drop the necessary documents, this will help you mirror your application and also help you avoid silly mistakes like uploading a document in the wrong placeholder(please don’t be lazy about this).
->Take a day or 2 to compare the information on your documents with the information you filled especially the dates*. I know somebody that found a mistake with the dates on her reference after submitting.
->After receiving documents like ECA, IELTS, POF statements, Police report etc please check check check for mistakes before leaving the location if possible.
->Keep your application simple, if you must add unnecessary documents please add to Client information section.

After submitting, pleasssseeeee leave your application to God, stop looking for wetin no loss, Let Go and Let God. I see people going back to their application to give themselves a headache asking questions they should have asked before or questions they have already asked. No follow them oo that’s why I suggested using at least 2 days to check and recheck your application, I know it’s not easy but stressing yourself over things you can’t change isn’t worth it, trust me!.

I would have said go ahead and create profile.... but then you cant do that without your ECA ready. You'll need details from your evaluation in creating a profile.

Imagine! Montreal! I'm sure if it's Ottawa/Sydney/Accra, this would not be a problem. They're used to Nigerians and our financial system. The Montreal VO is probably not used to that kind of investment funds for PPR. Na wa o. Rejection letter updated on the account? What if you didn't check your account in a week or 2? That VO is so harsh! Anything Quebec just puts me off!

Anyways, I really tried to find the direct email online, I couldn't. I have asked in some whatsapp groups, someone said that VO has no direct email. Is there anyone here who had Montreal VO, used Stanbic MF and got PPR? Or knows the VO direct email?

In the meantime, good that you're liquidating it already. Once you get all the docs, a CSE directly to Montreal VO is your best bet for now. Then send the same email to CIO Sydney, add that you're sending them the email because they are your secondary VO and you would like to urgently appeal. Also call CIC agent now, in a very sober tone, explain that you were unfairly rejected and would like to urgently contact Montreal, beg the agent to send you Montreal VO direct email. I personally don't believe that office won't have an email in this digital age, except the email is not open to the public. Appeal to the agent to help you escalate if possible.

Also, if it were me and I can't find their direct email after all efforts, I would mail my documents (LOE, App details, updated POF, reference to CSE raised) via express courier to Montreal VO with my EE app number, UCI number, and name with title SOS: URGENT APPEAL- PR REFUSAL boldly written on the package (some people will say it's 'overdo' but refusal after the long wait and ielts stress is not funny )

how do u deal with an NOC code change, made post ITA. as in while filling the forms after ITA, it asked for noc code, and one changes to another code. any issue on this, even though there was no LOE to this effect.

Good morning guys, the date of birth on my transcript is different from my date of birth on my passport and other documents. The year of birth is different by a year. The transcript carries 1988 instead of 1989. I'm currently doing ECA with IQAS. Has anyone had this issue before? Will it be flagged and how do i change it. I went to UNILAG. Thanks.
