Childish and too petty grow up Man!
Was the statement meant to be petty...oh yes, it was meant to be a joke (and if he wants an early date he will do what I have said or would have even done it)
Telling me to grow up is quite disrespectful,

On a lighter note, the basalt guy is somewhere canceling his category B to register for category A

Basalt:
No, I wont say anything because even if I say something you wont understand because you guys hardly read properly wink
SM is a leveller, one guy Basalt will just pop up and say you guys hardly read properly,
Why can’t you listen to others, pick your points and argue it out constructively without using denigrating words like you guys WONT UNDERSTAND. Please what do you think you have in your head, there are very smart people without degrees, first class students,Msc holders, PhD students on here just for the hustle
The fact is the contentious part of the requirements is not concise enough so the reason for the back and forth. You might be right or wrong, it’s just your OPINION at least for now. Like the other guy said be open minded, sit down and be humble (that’s how intelligent people interact) Only the embassy can come up with the official statement.

Now I understand that Nigerian youths don't read properly

holding a bachelor's degree with a grade of 1. Class - 2. Lower Class and being accepted for a master's degree *(also a DSH course-related admission to the master's program)* or PhD study in Germany or
holding a scholarship from a German institution for a study or a PhD in Germany or
holding a signed “Aufnahmevereinbarung” / hosting agreement concerning your research fellowship with a university or research institute accepted by the “BAMF”
Who’s this one...Nigerian youths don’t read properly because people are interpreting things differently and trying to understand. Funny enough you have said nothing meaningful to the discuss

On the second thought..this paragraph is confusing and conflicting. Pls let's digest this info probably.
Check closely..you only need to fulfil ONE of those requirements, even in those requirements a word is used repeatedly, the word “OR” after each requirement.I hope by Monday people will be more informed

Good eve guys...

I heard from a reliable source today that if you have from 1st class to 2.2 and youve been admitted to a german school, you are to book for option A in the visa appointment.. This is confirmed after a niggah called the embassy and he was told to cancel initial option B application and reapply for option A..
He was told option B is for those thatbhave third class.

He reapplied yesterday and he was given a date in July today.

I think we have to confirm this again bfr we start cancelling option B o..

Anybody with similar info?
The embassy should at least come up with a strong and concise information about the new visa interview appointment. You don’t bring up new guild lines and say we should not make enquires. They don’t rate us. Applicants are just trying to be on the safe side by going with option B
That option A looks like it’s not just for scholarship students, because what if you have scholarship and no german language knowledge and all those other requirements. I went for option B though

enrollment fee doesn't means you have enrolled anyway am sure what they are asking for is the semester fee if it's then no wahala .
Na so Bremen do me last winter and I paid about €360 and after my money was refunded so fear not go ahead with anyone of them but importantly talk to them about enrollment extention because of the situation at the embassy
Hope this helps
Do you mean if you accept Bremen’s offer (for visa) and pay student contribution but choose another school later in case of a better option, you will be refunded

Hello guys,

I need your candid advise on the next action to take concerning the scenario I'm about to narrate, I know it's a long read but I'll really appreciate your contributions. I'll try to keep it concise as much as possible.

I attended my student visa interview on the 6th of Dec. 2018 when my school was to resume in April 2019. The visa process normally takes 4-6 weeks as shown on the German website. On the 5th week after my interview I sent an email to inquire about the visa status and I got this response "Dear Sir, as your studies start in April, your visa could not yet be processed. You were an early bird considering your application. So we will process the application accordingly so that you can start your studies".

I waited till March before sending another inquiry email and there was no response from the embassy. I sent several emails afterwards and no reply, I called and I was told to send an email as no visa status information could be provided over the phone.

Mid-March I then called the Foreigner's office in the city of Kaiserslautern as my school is in Kaiserslautern and I was told that my documents have been processed and returned to my home country.
I hope you get good news soon, I can imagine how hard this is for you, did you use SL or BA, but either of the two I think they should have responded by now.
I don’t envy you at all

In fact let me calm you with this.

I said is a must o, believe am.
Nice one bro

Thank you, noted!.
Fabcol come and tell me something about why d visa appointment delay?
I can wrap my head around this, even the email bookings last year that is similar to this wouldn't be over 48hours, u get ur date.
Nawa
I thought I was the only one getting frustrated with this whole appointment booking ish, I cant understand this change with no enough information
New system, no enough information, still telling us to refrain from making Enquires. I hope this doesn’t affect us negatively

But i am wondering how you intend to go about meeting the condition.
I don’t know yet but I will write them tomorrow to enquire

Boss, is it only the school's online application system you used?

Or did you send documents by post to the school??
Just upload your documents on their site
You can send docs after you have been offered admission

Lol, seem they gave you my slot. I wrote to them weeks back(4-6days when I received their offer) . I told them since the admission committee gave me a conditional offer, meaning that I didn't meet the full requirements for the programme, that I regret that I must decline their offer, but I plead they give my slot to an applicant from Africa as expertise in the area of study is greatly needed in our region. cool
Lol... I will most likely ask them on Monday how I can get an unconditional admission, I don’t plan to attend and be paying 1500 but I need an admission early enough
TravelRe: General German Student Visa Enquiries Part 6 by Bamstar007: 3:17pm On May 10, 2019
Just got a conditional admission from uni of applied sciences Karlsruhe. Geomatics, thanks to those who got admission into same programme earlier that I contacted(met on here). Conditions are I should provide 6 credit in Gis and also in programming.

What course and school bro?

Eldeee:
Please as you making applications for schools, kindly check out the course contents to ascertain if it's something you can really do, studying here is quite intensive. We hear say economics related courses na die... Lol

Also, some schools offer late admission with short enrollment deadline, this might hamper your chances of going to study this winter. Please check out for schools offering early admissions so as to enable you attend interviews early enough before switching to the course you so desire if it happens to come very late.
so apt! Especially the second part, any school with July 15 application deadline without a rolling admission whatever should be dealt with carefully, such school will likely release admission results late, even if you have been promised admission by such school, do all within your power to get an early admission even if it’s a course you don’t like, someone with an early admission in May or even June is not in the level with a late admission in August/ September. Almost every winter enrollment deadline will be in October so it’s better to play safe. Imagine someone with just 4 weeks between interview and enrollment deadline and someone who has between 3-3.5 months between interview and enrollment. We know who go fit sleep well for night for the two o

The Naija factor always comes into play... some people without admissions and are not sure if admissions decision will be made by June will book Visa appointments and cancel later... meaning those who already have will get a much farther date ... Reason why they start using the email booking method.... We keep repeating the same mistake... It's not a competition....

Shalom
This is an hypocritical topic on this street.. people are doing it every damn time. My advice is to be nice and consider others but remember you first. If you are expecting admission and confident you should get that admission, please contact the school and ask when the admission results should be out (e.g. Jan 1), you can add two more weeks to the said date (e.g. Jan 15) then book appointment beforehand. In case you don’t have admission you can cancel a week before. Embassy don’t reply appointments with email sometimes. Do you know how it feels to have a late AL and BA and can’t get appointment, it happened to me this outgoing summer, it’s not a nice feeling at all.

You can, as long as you haven't enrolled in the school. However, always consider others so that you don't stop many others from getting admission. Each admission given to one, is a rejection to another.
I don’t understand the second part of this advice.. consider others, how? By not applying or what, my advice is if you have the resources to apply to even up to 50 schools you better do..it’s better to have options than wait for one school

Nope.. I only got a confirmation from CAMPUSonline during registration on it.. that was all... nothing when i submitted

Just that it is among the "must" be submitted documents.... But while applying it didn't have the bolded "mandatory " tag like others ....
If it’s a necessity for admission they wouldn’t have given students until the end of the second semester to submit it... it’s actually the lowest level of german language.. A1, anyone interested in staying in german after the programme should have it by then. Bros just go ahead and submit without it

Please how did you go about the German A1 thing.. Did you make a written statement, committing to submit the certificate at the end of 1yr of study?

Please, ur urgent response go save life... grin
I left it unattended to because admitted students still have until end of 2nd semester to submit it... it’s also not compulsory to submit it while applying. Me just breezed pass am o
