Djswaggz:Someone else already told me that . . . ![]() Nice One sha!! took me down memory lane especially the yoruba version of 'my head my shoulder my knees my toes'Gracias . . . Mobinga:Good . . . thanks. |
Idowuogbo:Aiight then Mamita . . . I'll be Santa . . . *did I just bus' a rhyme??* But don't forget, folks say "God gives, God takes" . . . By the same token, Santa gives . . . But Santa also takes ![]() |

Aqva:Well . . . not really - Rap is Music . . . and it helps when rappers have this at the back of their minds when rapping . . . it's also good if they can sing cos it helps them perform the Music Genre called Rap as they truly should . . . they'll understand basic stuff in Music like keys, notes, tonic solfas and so on . . . Afterall, it's possible to rap off-key ![]() When rappers can't capture peoples attention lyrically and so resort to flaunting hot chicks, cars and bling, then Rap is in poo.I agree 300%. Rap as we knew it from the days of KRS one and Rakim was all about sending out a message thru lyrics.True . . . these catz and their contemporaries began the lyrical side of thangs as far as Rap is concerned. Can't even name one local rap artist in Naija who can truly be called a rapper.There are quite a few - Modenine, Terry Tha Rapman, MI, Da Grin (RIP), Blaise . . . they may not be 'there' yet but they're good. Surely, when people like Nas leave the stage, that would mark the end of Rap as a music genre.Nas is one of the few rappers out there whose sound appeals to the mainstream without compromising his underground roots . . . his exit will leave a vacuum in the industry . . . but then from an optimistic POV, a handful of other rappers are quite ok - J.Cole's promising . . . Blackthought/Common/Mos' Def are still reppin' . . . and Eminem still spits fiyah sometimes. |
Mobinga: ![]() Smile bwoy . . . Christmas is a few days away . . . momma's gonna buy you a new shirt and a pair of sneakers. |

kay_pumpin:bbamsyle@yahoo.com And it seems Ofoka had a thing to do with the track as 9ice kept shouting ebora merindinlogun.I laugh in ebora language . . . ![]() |

The year was 2008 . . . me n ma buddies were just playing around in the studio . . . I'd been pondering over this concept of writing a narrative rap song with a cultural/folklore feel to it . . . then I put pen to paper . . . and came out with this: http://www.4shared.com/audio/VomGDbJq/Promise.html While I ain't planning to take things professionally, I just wanna have a compilation of all ma tracks for posterity sake . . . Track is titled "Promise" . . . and it's narrative in style . . . Not forgetting that I still owe all ma hommes in here a dedication track . . . I'll get to it soon as I refresh (professional exams'll soon be over!) Also, I'll like to connect with as many friends as possible - we can connect via bbamsyle@yahoo.com . . . YIM, emails, et al . . . Kindly download and comment (if you're gonna yab me, be a lil' kind - lol) . . . Season's Greetings! |
No Love - Eminem, Lil Wayne Tribal War - Nas, Damian Marley Not Afraid - Eminem |
@OP Very true. |
@Eldee There's a reason folks get picked up by law enforcement agencies like the EFCC and the police even on mere suspicion . . . conducts like this indeed arouse suspicion. It ain't a crime to spend your money when you have it . . . but when you throw away $100,000 on crap, you don't expect witnesses to look the other way . . . eyebrows'll be raised. No sane person who works well enough to earn every dime would spend such an amount on such crap - even if he's got $100million stacked in his treasury . . . I can bet my bottom dollar that the money was made through easy but sleazy means. |
eldee:You raised the issue of legality, I didn't. The issue here is using money as the yardstick for doing or not doing anything . . . if e'rrthing should be about money, then Abacha was perfectly sane when he flew in prostitutes to suck his dcik . . . afterall, it ain't your money . . . and it ain't illegal ![]() I'm not arguing about legality or morality here . . . I'm just saying - when issues like this are raised, it's plain dumb to say things like ''is it your money''?? |
eldee:Well, glad you know how to sing a different tune . . . ![]() It's a simple case of misplaced priorities, period. |
For all those asking "is it your money"?? . . . I might as well hire Al Qaeda to bomb y'all villages tomorrow . . . I guess everything's all about money, huh?? |

Shame on David . . . how can he open his trap and utter such nonsense in public?? Let's even assume CBN is stealing . . . it doesn't lie in a thief's mouth to call another a thief . . . he ought to exert his energy on clearing his name before pointing the crooked finger at someone else . . . David is saying "Well well, I steal but what about you"?? A public official?? The Senate President?? Darn, these folks ought to be hanged naked in an open market! His speech reeks of unparalleled idiocy and is a clear pointer to the innate and ingrained corruption and filth deposited in our "leaders" . . . What a shameless good-for-nothing rogue! |
You have conquered death by dying to live again . . . God be with you bro. |
@Genuflect Flirt . . . explain the meaning of that ya "04 . . . 021K" siggy ![]() @OP Collabo should be good - they're both entertainers. |
