I go into every season expecting something like this. So when it happens, I am able to shrug it off.
I don't expect all the players to be on form for 90 mins every single game.
Embarrassing events like this will occur time and again. Dust it off and move.

We have been spoilt by Mourinho.  Many of us (me inclusive) now think it's our birth right to never lose at home. . . well that's it, it will happen.

If you play CBs of PF and Ivanovic, every attack is going to look like a goal and with Bosingwa coming back from a year-long injury still not fit to play 90mins. Infact, that's his first 90 mins in 18 months. .

If you have a midfield combination of Ramires, Zhirkov and Mikel, it means zero creativity. And if you have a Drogba who hasn't scored in 6 EPL games, you know you are in for it.

When you take all that into consideration, you can't but come to the conclusion that any team with a little positive spirit will give us a good run for our money.

We've just got to hope we can hang in there until we see the return of Lampard, Essien and Benayoun into midfield. Until then, we've got to expect to see haphazard levels of performances and really, it's no one's fault.

You are right here, but then why do we have this players? That bench of ours was the weakest since the 'Abrahamovic Era'. Did I see Benayoun in there? hehehehe, to me he hasn't prove himself and Zhirkov is ahead of him here at the bridge!
