Barcelona needs rebuilding and you think the rebuild will come from a team that knows next to nothing about the Barcelona gameplay.

Baba, the pass to Messi tactics can be worked on even with Messi on the Pitch. I agree it'll be difficult to root Messi to a particular position and not allow him the freerole position, but hey, Messi is still a Barcelona player and he can be cautioned.

We just need a coach like a friend with balls of steel to implement those changes. Messi still has a lot to offer that team and letting him go will be the greatest mistake of all time.
My one cent though.
Because he will not leave again abi?

At 33, Xavi and Iniesta already had secondary roles on the pitch and were only coming to stabilize or change and win match for us.

At 33, Messi still has 3 years left to offer us.....smh

Well, obviously some Bundesliga clubs' scouts don't share the same opinion as some in here. Lol

Collins was second in the Bundesliga for most ground duels won. Collins was also in the top 20 for players with most ball touches in the Bundesliga for 2019/2020. In interceptions, Collins also emerged in the top 10 across the top 5 leagues for 19/20. He is not anywhere near top class but he is quite decent.

Anyway, there are a few signs of his impending transfer. He has been training with Paderborn but he missed their preseason friendly few days back. Also, Paderborn already has his replacement for the season in Chima Okoroji who actually played that friendly.

Time will eventually tell shaa.
Me I go laugh pesin o grin

You think so?
Then why didn't barca accept leceister city's bid for the boy(Trincao).
The emergence of Puig and Fati is gradually opening the eyes of the board, but they still don't have sense tho.
Besides, presido has commented on the integration and promotion of the young players to the 1st team.
I know so.

The highest they will use is 1½ season, which will mostly be on the bench. By Jan '22, they'd be shipped away, to garner experience.

Unless maybe Laporta somehow wins.

But if Fonte, Bart's guy wins, lol...

Meanwhile, strong transfer rumors emerge around Jamilu Collins' future. Schalke 04 has entered into the equation.

Weeder Bremen has also been previously mentioned. Time will tell where he eventually ends up but the links to Schalke look good so far.
But I thought he's so bad that no bundesliga team will come for him?

Let alone Werder, and even Schalkehuh undecided

I think Dembele is better on the right.

Funny thing is, if lautaro doesn't come and if Griezmann and Suarez(this one isn't smelling first team again) are sold, Messi will end up playing the top striker role.
Dembele and Fati will play on the wing.
Dembele will have to drag with Trincao (that boy has a wicked left foot). Fati will drag with Pedri for the left wing.
Lol, una dey funny me sha.

Trincao and Pedri......lol, players that will end up going on loan las las.

Sorry but only 3 of this team deserve a place in the starting line up in a treble winning team.

Messi
Puig
De Jong.

Are you still putting hope in Dembele?

Just forget Dembele.
Yes, I am. In fact, he's still my most loved player in the team. I know many have given up on him, but I still haven't, not yet.

I'm still hopeful he will come around

Well, we have only one player present now in the UCL semis. Ademola Lookman of Leipzig but he is seeing little to no action at all now. But he makes the match day squads at least.

Anyway, with the moves made this summer by some of our young lads and a few more expected to be wrapped up before the various euro windows are closed, I expect we will see Nigerians in the UCL KO rounds again within than two years or less. Just wait for it.
Has he completed his switch nii?

2 champions league courtesy of arguably the greatest midfield ever assembled. Honestly, his teams at Bayern and now at Man City have been largely underwhelming in the champions league. That's my point. Fair enough we can't take away those two champions league from him. You do need very good players to win. So if you win with a team perhaps consisting of multiple generational talents, how about you do it with a fairly talented side against Lyon? I have been on the fence on this "Guardiola is a fraud thing" grin but now i do think he's is a tad overrated.
The way you people dey take share this "overrated" tag.

He's the most decorated manager in Europe, probably the world, but he's overrated.

That's right....

Messi is overrated for not leaving la liga also, he's overrated for not winning with Argentina.

De Lima is overrated for not winning UCL also.

Bla bla bla.

Make we hear word biko.

He's overrated, yet, all of your clubs would scramble to sign him the moment he's up for grabs.

Overrated indeed

Samuel Chukwueze can go to Barcelona now. The reason is that Barca is in A revolution and they will want young and cheap players and he fits the bill.
They are in a situation in whuch they have to go back to the grassroots (maybe la masia) and sell their stars. Samuel Chukwueze could be an option as he is young and has some la liga experience and he is relatively cheap and they can easily mould him
With Dembele in the team?

Dembele is injury prone, yes, but he's adamant on not leaving either.

Samu is also playing from the right, Messi

It's not his fault he found himself in a scoring position.

U're 100% right. In my opinion, the board could still cut their loss. For example, Griezmann would still command a transfer fee of 60-70 million. Suarez could also be sold for 10-15 million. An MLS team would definitely be intrested. That money could be used to get a youthful attacker that would fit into our style.

Too many old heads at Barcelona, no priority on youths. I guess we'll just have to see what happens in the coming weeks before the start of the new season.
Suarez already has an offer from MLS.

He's just not going

The attitude I hate is coming back after the match to start digging up posts like you would will receive a trophy for "seeing things the way they are"

What I expect from your likes is probably pointing out the flaws and looking forward

Not picking posts and telling everyone how you saw the doom coming..
Okay, I agree to that. You're right.
