viyon02:Best advice |
Richasbrick:OK, I will do exactly that after the match |
khasm:I don't have any SL contact. I came with block account not SL. I can only say that it's a nice route but very risky. The embassy still has to verify the authenticity of the SL and if they are satisfied, they will grant you a visa, if they are not, a rejection follows immediately. Now imagine what happens when you are rejected after paying over 1million for SL and the person even refuse to give you back your money? For your SL to be accepted, the person issuing the SL must meet the financial requirements to sponsor someone in Germany, the embassy will verify that, also the person should be a German citizen or permanent resident with a good paying job. So it's a 50:50 thing. It works perfectly if you roll with genuine people and doesn't work if you roll with fraudsters. If you have someone in Germany who is willing to write the letter for you free of charge, it's best. |
Ugoerico: ![]() Then I was a victim of witchcraft for two years until I said NO to their discouragement. I will shock them next year when my project will be completed by the help of God. I know they will be so surprised ![]() |
bayo2018:Very good question. I said that because abroad has its own flaws. The cold temperature, not everybody is a fan of that. But that's not an issue. If Mr Adeniyi is earning #1,200,000 per month in Nigeria, he will save more money, have more investments and even be living larger than Mr Osas earning #1,200,000 in abroad because Mr Osas will be spending so much on accommodation, health insurance, tax, living expenses, transportation etc. It's true that those abroad make more money on average but the cost of living abroad is very expensive. For instance, an average student in Germany spends over 100k naira every month just for accommodation alone, some even spend nearly 200k sef. If you doubt me, ask any student doing his Msc in Germany. Plus health insurance, money for food and other minor expenses In Nigeria, the expenses is quiet less and you have more fun. You visit restaurants and eat nice foods you are familiar with, here in Germany we don't have a fun life. It's always work work work. Even with money, you can't really eat what you want to eat Everytime. For instance, I have been desiring to eat Ofe Nsala for long but I can't. I have been desiring to eat Nkwobi and Afang soup but I can't even when I have the money. In all honesty, if you really earn very big in Nigeria. When I mean very big, I don't mean 200k per month. I mean like one million and above after tax, then I really think it will be better being in Nigeria, in the rich man's area where there is more security and enjoy your money. You raised a good point by mentioning security, yes abroad people enjoy maximum security and a simple call to the police solves most of your problems. Infact, there is no single security man in banks, the banks are not even fenced like they are in Nigeria and the apartments don't even have security rods close to the windows. It's common in the city center to see €30,000 jewelries displayed in a glass show without any iron protection and bulbs will even be switched on to show it even at midnight yet nobody attempts to break the glass to steal them at night. |
kizonero:My brother, I must be very sincere with you. Coming with education visa is your best bet. Since you have OND, good. You can apply for a BSc Englisch taught programs with your OND transcript. It's still theoretically possible for you to come with work visa but it requires high skill proficiency. Example if you are a skillful programmer with lots of experience, you could get work and come through work visa. If you are also a highly qualified doctor, you can as well come as a professional. Nobody will give you work visa to come and be doing Lager job or any other unskilled job in Germany. Your application will most likely be rejected. So your best bet is education visa unless you want to come through asylum (coming through the sea and seeking for refugee) which unfortunately I don't know anything about. |
andyblinks05:Accommodation or no accommodation, I find it hard to believe that a graduate should be paid #18,000 per month in a place like Lagos. It's not attractive one bit, it's actually appalling. |
andyblinks05:#18,000 attractive? Like seriously, has it gotten to this bikonu? |
In all honesty, the best decision so far I have taken in my life is leaving Nigeria for Msc in Germany. Any one that has such opportunity shouldn't think twice before taking it. I refuse to be among those abroad that discourages others from coming. They tell you some scary stories to keep your ass in Nigeria while they stay abroad and keep pumping investing and building mansions in Nigeria. I was in Nigeria for more than 20 years before leaving, I have only been here for less than two years and I can clearly see the difference. Start applying for scholarships too. Happy Sunday guys. |
iamadonis2:Lol. We taught him a big lesson then shaa. . I think he nogo try am again. Lol. |
BelieverDE:My brother, I know the background I came from, I have no option than to focus and hope on God for the best because He determines everything. |
iamadonis2: You are very funny bro. The guy really pissed me off with his extremely pessimistic view about Germany. Na such people dey discourage our youths from trying their luck outside Nigeria. Imagine what he posted immediately I shared my story drnoel:People should really stop talking much about the future, only God knows the future. |
BelieverDE:You can get employment in any field you qualify for. Most companies demand for skills and experience before offering you the opportunity. Once you have the opportunity of getting an employment at all in any firm that is capable of paying you a particular amount of salary per year, you will be qualified to apply for permanent residence. It was before that you must get employment in your field and before you get the employment, there must not be any unemployed German or EU national seeking for the same job, but all these are in the past, the law has been weakened. Your skills and experience now speaks for you. If you are a qualified data analyst, you won't have any issues getting employment provided you know your onions very well in Data analysis. Like I said before Germans generally demands high quality from people. They are not easy to please and you have to be really good to secure your position. |
hammed71:Ofcus I do. I plan to get a professional job after my studies and gain international experience in a particular field and possibly citizenship. Even if I should leave Germany for other countries, I feel like acquiring professional experience first because wherever you go, professional experience matters alot to secure jobs. By God's grace, I will only leave Germany when I am sure of job in another country of Migration. I don't plan to leave and start life afresh in another country but only leave to continue from where I stop in Germany if I must leave, that's why from next year, I am sticking to one job and investing all time in personal development and working towards fluency in German. The plan is already there, just waiting for God to perfect it |
BelieverDE:Very good. Have you taken your time to go through the module catalog? Does it look like what you can Crack? Because the word computational might involve programming and mathematics during the course of your training. Are you really good at Maths and programming? One thing is getting into a program, another thing is finishing the program, so it's highly advisable to go into the courses you can do because their educational system is really high and demanding. |
naijacentric:Yes, from my little experience, German girls are usually hard to get. They prefer dating fellow white guys. The evidence can be seen from the couple moving around. It's not easy to see Black/ girl couple kissing and holding hands as whites do. Before coming to Germany, I heard that white girls use to rush black guys like hot cake because they view them as being good in bed, I even loaded packets of Condoms in my travel bag hoping to buy more when I arrive, my brother those condoms are still remaining in my bag as of now. On coming to Germany, I found out a totally different thing from what I heard, this is my personal experience, I don't know if Corona virus contributed to it. Even Tinder, badoo, Lovoo wey I download, shishi I no get. Most Nigerian girls on the other hand are targeting white men for papers. So is usually not easy unless you visit a brothel and I heard that if you are the extrovert type who clubs, you will run into many girls in the club especially if you are a good dancer. I nogo lie you, I don't really have any tangible love life here. All I do is work, study, sleep, eat, work. The cycle continues. Though I am able to save alot of money but I don't have a life or even have much friends like my mates in the UK and USA. From next year, I will reduce work and hopefully graduate by the special grace of God. |
ZINIIBANKS:Honestly, I have not actually bleeped any German lady or even any white lady but I heard they are weird. I was really curious to have a taste but the opportunity didn't come despite the fact that I am tall and cute still dem no send me. And in Germany, you can't just see a girl and start talking with her just as we used to do in Nigeria. They maintain a distance from strangers especially if the person is a black man. So it makes sex hard especially if you are really the busy type like me. As I type now, I am going to night job. I have a friend from Edo state who has stayed here for over 12 years and is already a German citizen, he said he has slept with many white girls from different countries. He told me to register an account on Lovoo and Tinder which I did but I have been swapping since and getting only few responses and those few responses would stop responding after few weeks. I told the guy that I was too busy for that shit because I hardly have time for myself let alone wasting my time on tinder swapping and getting no response. It was so discouraging. He brought two more alternatives 1. Going to the party with him where he would introduce me to most of his friend's friends. He said they do crazy things when drunk. 2. Paying Excorts or rather prostitutes for sex. I was contemplating the first option before Germany started the lockdown on December and since then we have been on lockdown and no party. So I gave up and started chasing money instead. Now, I am even surprised how far I have gone with maximum concentration as a result of the lockdown. |
79733139:Exactly |
Citygal:From my experience so far, I would say the racism in Germany is really not bad. I have not personally experienced any major racism throughout my 1.6yrs in Germany. Some people might not want to sit down beside you inside the train or inside the bus but I really don't see it as racism. People usually sit down beside people they are familiar with or people they are closer to. Also, you might find it a little bit hard getting a shared apartment among white people, from my personal experience, they prefer sharing apartments with fellow white people. In other cases, you might find it hard getting some job if you don't speak German, it's not racism, it's just that you don't speak the language of communication in that company. I won't rule out the case of racism, but to the best of my knowledge, it's not really bad in Germany as I heard before coming. What I will say about Germany is that it's a very hard country They expect so high from people and they are not easy to please, you need to go hard to achieve things in Germany because anything you do, you must do it well to retain your seat. It's a country that takes no shit, if you mess up, you will face the consequences, no mercy, no forgiveness, they give you the punishment according to your offense. So when you misbehave, don't beg, if you do, you are most likely wasting your time. Just wait for the punishment associated with your misbehavior. |
ZINIIBANKS:I will do that if I go out to the city center again |
BelieverDE:It's a great course just like many other courses too, but you need to learn the language to atleast B level to expand your chances of getting a job after your education. Also you might find it hard getting admission in courses you don't have related BSc in. |
79733139:Cheers bro. I really hope it would be as easy as you anticipate. I wish you the best |
lecturer50:That your uncle is jealous of your work and pretending to care so much with the ulterior motive to make you quit the federal government job. Ask yourself if you are the only person in the family that you must resign your job and go back to the village. Probably he has tried diabolical means it didn't work, he now wants to hide under the umbrella of the sickness to bring you back to the village. I would recommend you to buy a new sim and give it only to trusted members. Also learn how to say NO otherwise you will be messed up. Legally, they can't hold you responsible for any death if they don't have any proof that you are the killer. |
saphiere:Drag him to court for exactly what? |
Preye5:Can someone take the test twice? |
Parashooter:I can't see any of them on Facebook. Could you send the link of their profile? |
I really wonder what they gain from cultism. Money dey no dey get. Common rest of mind they don't have. The protection they claim they get from their members is nonsense because they die younger than normal people |
Citygal:Exactly, but depending on your city, your academic transcript might be demanded before the extension which means you should also be doing your courses as you work because your courses show in your transcript which might be demanded before extension. If the visa officer feels you have done very few courses, she/he might ask you to explain why you have only done few number of courses during your two years stay in Germany. |
jamesy212:Very good question. You are 100% correct. As a student in Germany, you have 120 full day to work in a year and 240 half days to work in a year. Full day is 5-8hrs a day Half day is 4 hrs or less So because I took a full time job since last year, I can work until June this year, plus my one month and few days paid vacation which I plan taking next semester. Everything will last around August. So after my 120 days finishes in that company I will be told that I can't work with them again this year because of the 120 days clause, then I can stick with the other mini job company and expand my mini contract to part-time job and continue. The minijob is 240 days a year which means I can't overspend it even after converting to part-time around September. They have the option of expanding your contract if you want. In Germany companies protect your data from other companies which means company A does not know how many hours you have worked in company B, that's why they ask you to tell them how many days you have worked for the year before employing you because they don't have that data until you tell them and whatever you tell them is what they work with. I have many instances to give but I am busy now maybe later. |
Citygal:Exactly. You are correct. The slower you take your courses, the more semesters you will need to finish. But remember unless you are in information technology field, they will likely demand German language skills before you can get a professional job in Germany and you only have 18 months to get a professional job after graduating. So my main priority is not to rush and finish but to make sure I develop myself in the language, academic skill and money even before finishing my studies. So far, I thank God for his blessings. I'm already in B level now in Deutsch. If your family is rich or you are under scholarship, then no need working much like I do. Focus on learning the language and finishing your program, but if your background is not rich, you will definitely work for money and when you do that, you will not go as fast as you may want because you can't serve two masters at the same time. |
