Bishop:In all ramifications, I prefer Germany to Canada. My only problem here is that my German is not yet good. I really love Germany honestly. Though it's a very hard country |
Lexusgs430:Brother, I am not the cause of your frustration biko. Shift one side |
optimusprime2:I am in level A2.1 now which is about 3.75/10 German level. My main aim now is to have a permanent stay in any western country not necessarily German but any developed country at all and you can only do that by getting a professional job or by marrying a German citizen. I just like the way things are run here and when you work hard, you earn hard. |
TRIPLEGATE:The big cities always have more job prospects. The good thing is that you can even work in another city if you want. I heard there are limited jobs in the Eastern part of Germany, maybe you should focus on other parts. Goodluck |

Waoooo, thank you guys for your contributions. Happy Sunday to you all. |
Goodmorning Ladies and Gentlemen. I am Basalt by name and I came to Germany last year(2019) October for my MSc studies with a little amount of Money and a partially borrowed block account from my inlaw (his money and my money). On arrival in Germany, I took only a few courses and got a job outside my city and also got a mini-job. I did all my monthly expenses from my Mini job and used my main job to completely pay back my debt within a few months of arrival. Now, that's not the discussion at hand. I need advice especially from people who have lived abroad or have many years of experience in life. My visa still counts till 2022 and I can even extend it if I don't finish my studies by then. According to German policy, once you graduate from the University, you will be given 18 months to get a professional job or return back to your country. Returning back to Nigeria is totally out of my plan at least for now because I came from a very poor family without any job connection and I am really enjoying Europe. I plan to buy land or start building a house (I saved millions of naira and will even save more as time goes) but my friend who is also a student here discouraged me against that saying that my root is not yet fixed abroad that I should wait and continue investing in myself and undergoing professional training until I get permanent residency before investing. That I should always keep saving because it is not certain that I will get a professional job after graduation since my course is not in Information Technology which is currently booming in Germany. That even if I don't get a job, I can use the money to migrate to Canada or any other country of my choice. He asked What if you invest the money now and don't get a job after graduation, what will you do after the 18 months of post graduation visa since you don't have any backup from home who will help you out financially. What do you guys think. I need opinions |
peterobi212:Hello Peterobi, this account is entirely private. You can always quote me here on Nairaland and I will respond whenever I am free |
xrayj:After NYSC, I wasn't yet financially ready for marriage and she couldn't wait for me. I perfectly understand her, she is a lady. We still chat sometimes but not as we used to. She was actually the first girl I dated. And since then I have never dated any other girl because I am always too busy from one thing or the other. |
Ghost1994:are you related to blackface? ![]() |
Raalsalghul:Ja, sehr busy. I do two jobs (Mini und Parttime) in addition to my language course and 4 courses. I hardly get time now |
Well, my own was kinda luck. I am a tall young and handsome guy, but despite all these physical qualities, I am a grade one introvert, a solitary personality and someone that is extremely shy that I find it very difficult to talk to a lady in a romantic way. I look very gentle and responsible in appearance which scares girls away from me thinking that I am a pastor or a strict person. I tried so hard to look more friendly, but that's just my nature. It was during my NYSC in Cross river state, my lodge mate happened to be a very beautiful girl from Anambra State. I used to peep at her walking pass my door without having any courage to go beyond the "Hello Hi greetings". As a corper then, I had almost everything necessary. Gas, refrigerator, home theater, small plasma TV etc, but one thing was missing and that was a girlfriend. That my crush happened to come to my room sometimes to put drinks inside my fridge but never spends a second in my room despite the fact that plasma TV was there. I started by complimenting her s each time she came around to create an impression which I found out she liked very well. I went to her room one day just to check on her, as an introvert, I hardly visit anyone both girls and boys. I like being myself, but my love for this girl made me change my policy and I found myself doing all those little things I wouldn't naturally do. Fast forward to that special day, around 5pm, it was raining small and she came to collect her soup. As she wanted to leave, I told her to please stay small and keep me company, that I always enjoy her company. She laughed and told me that she wanted to eat but would come back after eating to spend some seconds before rushing to fellowship. That word "fellowship"scared the hell out of me, I started wondering if such churchy girl could be worldly enough to date me. When she came back, I put the best film she liked. She wad sitting on my plastic chair while I was lying on the bed hiding my erection with my pillow. After 1hr, she stood up to leave and I told her that I would like to go to fellowship with her. I am a staunch Anglican but I attended pentecostal fellowship that day because of her. From there, we became friends and she started feeling more comfortable with me. We started telling each other our secrets. She started lying down on my bed and playing with me, I always wanted to kiss her but was scared it could spoil everything. One day, we were both lying down on the bed watching film and I told her to rest her head on my shoulder, she did and I started playing with her hair, she didn't stop me, but I didn't go further because I was so scared. The next day, she came again and this time around, I decided to try my luck. In my mind, I was saying ANYTHING WEY WAN HAPPEN MAKE E HAPPEN. I gently turned her head and kissed her, she tried to push me away but I persisted, after few seconds she started reciprocating. We kissed so passionately while romancing. I removed my lips from her mouth, and kissed her breast, she smiled. I started unhooking her bra and she didn't stop me. Immediately the lovely oranges were outside the bra, I started sucking hungrily like a baby, she held my big head closely as I suck, then with one hand I went for her zip, she stopped my hand from going further... The rest was history. That was how we started. Though she is married now |
#0.00. Because, I don't have a girlfriend. I concentrate more, make more money and save alot for my future without incurring much expenses on my head. If I show you how much I have saved so far at my age you will marvel even though I eat very well and wear moderately nice clothes . All these money I have saved is because I don't have much expenses I make. If you tell me to send you money, you are wasting your time because I will always politely give a well cooked excuse, at the end I won't send you shit. I only send money to my parents and siblings when I have much and feel like helping. If I have the urge for sex, I watch porn and masturbate and feel alright and even use time I should have wasted chasing girls to develop myself academically and technologically. |
Not only in Nigeria. Even in Germany, girls usually visit boy's house for sex. Dating usually occurs outside the house, maybe restaurants etc. But once you invite a girl in your apartment and the girl is not your coursemate or your casual friend, then it's mostly for Sex. Nobody gets time to beat around the bush because time is limited, most people are straightforward with what they want and what they don't want. Weekends are usually period for hot Sex and meriments after a stressful working days. |
Idontknowyou:I think 30 days is fair. You are lucky you are not permanently blocked from using Facebook. |
zabuur:Hahahahaha. I am an Igbo guy but this really got me laughing so hard. Could you please mention those IPOB supported that lost. ![]() |
MyVILLAGEpeople:What do they do? I don't understand |
TheNoble007:I really don't understand your question. Do you mean to ask if it's possible for someone who is studying in any of the Schengen countries e.g France to quit his studies in that place and start afresh in Germany? If that is the case, then you need to apply to German universities and when you are given admission, then you will fulfill all the requirements needed to be given a German student visa. Requirements like financial proof and proof of admission. Even those already in Germany and want to prolong their stay after the usual 2year student visa has elapsed need to show financial proof. Depending on your city, some expect thousands of Euros breathing in your Euro account before your stay will be elongated. Studying in any of the Schengen countries only gives you the privilege to visit other Schengen countries without a visa, which means if you want more than a visit, then you should be prepared to do the needful. |

Flier:Some people are really very annoying honestly. In the year 2015, you didn't see the need for southern unity when you supported Buhari. Now you want a Yoruba president, you are campaigning for southern unity. Southern unity sawa gị ọnụ dia. U never chee chomthing, shebi 2023 is around the corner |

techtechh:There is this course information engineering at university of Applied science Hamburg. It's a BSc course and totally taught in English It's cool and recommendable. Sorry for late response. I am on night job now and usually busy |
I really don't like the mode of operation of American police sometimes. Why chasing him? He could be a disaster on the road while trying to beat traffic. German Polizei wouldn't chase him, they will just trace him with either Helicopter or video cameras. Or simply leave him to go and later arrest him easily using his biodata. Even if he succeeds in driving away with the bus, he can't do anything with it, the transport system here is well organized and you can't just bring a school bus and start transport business. To start with, you must first register your business before you start operating. He is also too young to drive in Germany and believe me nobody will buy such bus from 11yr old kid here, his neighbors will still be the one to call Polizei on him if they suspect anything strange. Honestly, there is absolutely no point chasing such a young kid. Ich liebe Deutschland wirklich! |
All the people still waiting for visa appointment should start language course while waiting. I never took this advice to learn anything during my time of visa pursuit, and I just managed to finish A1 now because I was too busy studying and making money within the one year I have been here and my target is B2 before graduating. My point is that it's usually not easy to learn the language here when you have courses on your head and you need to make lots of money to balance financially. So now that you have the opportunity, it's advisable you utilize it and atleast finish your A2 before coming here. I am sure you must have heard of the importance of Deutsch language here so no need to stress much on it |
saaphiere:You should honestly stop talking. You make more sense when you keep quiet than when you talk. |
I thought they say Northerners always have it easy getting a job irrespective of their result and course? |
Edoziesmart:You are just a cave man as displayed in your signature. You thinking is so backward. People like you are the problem we have in Nigeria |
klawaaa:Yeah, you are actually right. If you are doing great in Nigeria, no need relocating abroad. I only came here because I was frustrated in Nigeria and earning very small. About 30,000 naira in a month. But coming here, I regretted not coming earlier. Its really not easy here I must be sincere with you especially if you are in a technical university like me but if you are hardworking, you have absolutely nothing to lose because you won't only get education, you will get money and skills. I strongly advise people to come to Germany for education only if you are smart, law abiding and hard working because every action you take here has consequences. Germany is a law country and if you are not the law abiding type, please don't dream of coming here, they will mess you up. |
