It seems there's a schedule of who 'd make statements at any point in time at the presidency. It's the turn of bro femi today. So we 've heard from our president. |
When we have serious issues threatening the country's existence and the economy is almost in coma, federal government officials are busy engaging in frivolous acts. The other day it was the justice minister making utterances that were below his dignity and today it's a leaked memo from the agric ministry that looks more like a religious.ministry. I do not think this country has been this low. It's just so sad. |
Is this really true? And all we hear is government officials tellings us that everything is under control. It seem as if the federal government is 'just' satisfied with the situation. The impression is that the bandits can be doing their 'thing' wherever they are and the federal government would be doing its own 'thing' in abuja, maybe until the banfits take over abuja. Different people are now allowed to rule different parts of the country. How did nigeria get to this point? |
Don't know how genuine this is but assuming it's true, how come 'bros legal' didn't have this line of thought? Strange things on the land |
So the dude has been in nigeria's territory and our 'almighty' security agents were unable to nutralize him? How are they going to cope with iswap as it seem they want to consolidate on 'whatever' bokoharam has achieved? Na wa ooo |
You guys condeming seun seem to forget that it's the only way (seun's 'unserious' and 'unfit' response to malami's answers) that would make them (channels) not to be fined by the government, and would also make him (seun) keep his 'beloved' job. The situation in nigeria is so bad that journalists are scared of asking questions especially when it concerns govwrnment officials or reporting the truth. Nigeria is slowly drifting ,, ,, , ,, ,, |
If the security agents in nigeria are 'really' doing their jobs and the office of the DPP in the various states are doing theirs, we would have very little problem with kidnapping and banditry, Also what about security agents in nigeria that detains people 'unlawfully' and ask for money? What happens to them? Are they included? I hope when a relation of the sponsor of the bill falls into such a situation, he would not go behind and pay and later deny or say it was due to pressure from family members. |
When the money flow stops the so called pastor would convert this place to something else, as if Christ was ever there. |
Good. But what about the websites used by the govt to propagate half truths to the citizens? Have those ones been discovered? It's only normal if all are 'discovered |
APC would never agree that it has failed in any area just as PDP never believed it failed. The people in PDP are hoping to come on board in the next election and the question is to come and do what? I dont believe anything has changed wirh them. It's still the same people who caused so much havok the made APC emerge. APC hopes to continue in power after the next election, so that current atrocities would continue. They both could be described as the same. Really tired of ALL these people. |
Always waiting for the 'white man' So if the white man had not done so, the 'black man' in nigeria would never have know of its benefits that's if it actually has. Naijaaaaaaa |
For those of us that are not following events, can someone please explain why africa finance summit is holding in europe? No hard feelings. Just want to know |
While the US is not a particularly good example, these reports coupled with 'daily' serious security threats make you wonder how nigerian federal government expects anyone to invest in this country. But offcourse 'those' there are so used to living in denial. So the 'circus' continues. |
Just imagine the shame he has brought upon his family. Loser. |
This issue has become national. In 'better' places the presidency or president would have made a statement. Those at the national assembly would have made statements. Have we heard any statement from them? Someone should let me know. If not, is it that there are so many 'deaths' on the land so her own is insignificant? She had a right to life. It's just so sad. |
What's stopping nigeria from adopting solar technology? The problem is that a certain govt would come soon and establish the 'national solar commission' (or is it already in existence?) and fill the positions in it with bsc and hnd holders in music, religious studies and fine art. Giant of africa. |
Ordinarily nigeria should distance itself from such, maybe just maintain a relationship beneficial to her. But a look that's not even close would show nigeria is at same level or worse than them. Osibanjo should ask for their 'economic' assistance and request for their help in curbing 'current insecurity' |
The's bad. Has the alleged killer been arrested? Or he's still out? |
Testicles of a ram ! woman's breast ! Maybe they are relevant to his narrative but the reality is that there's so much 'insecurity' and the efforts being made to tackle it does not seem to be sufficient. No society is completely devoid of crime or criminality but People just want some appreciable level of security and this is presently lacking. Also this 'tacit' idea or believe that the 'nigerian army' is capable of solving 'all the problems' in nigeria is completely wrong. I think it's one of the biggest problems we presently having. |
Sani Jalingo had an interview with the Hausa service of Voice of America. In nigeria there's the 'almighty nigerian army', the DMI, the DSS, the offoce of NSA, the NIA, the IRT. None of these offices seem to have any viable plan to end this 'unfortunate situation' They are waiting for the government to tell them what to do. And when victims demand that the government pay the kidnappers, we are told that the money would make them acquire more weapons. So what's going to happen? What if they are not bluffing and they kill them? So the kidnappers should just kill the hostages so that we move on? What if they were your children? How did we get so low in thia country? |
And the military man or woman in charge would be from what state or zone? Believe me that would add to the problem. Has anyone ever asked who created this mess we are currently in? The state of the country has made some of us to start thinking 'extraterrestially' |
First title since 2010 when mourinho won a treble for them. The same mourinho that is being used as a measurement for the number of times a coach could be fired. It's so sad for mourinho. |
You probably had and I do not know how much you did but it never reflected on the dividends. So maybe the act by the cbn is the best. Though one is not sure of anything in this country thesedays. |
This is so low coming from the office of the president of nigeria. Since one finds it difficult to believe anything from the nigerian government, we may not actually know what really transpired. However Mbaka should asap respond to this. |
If this is true then we nolonger have a country. And the 'humans' in abuja better wake up to this new reality. The army spokesperson is not aware of the happenings in niger, so that means the nigerian army and the nigerian government are not aware that bokoharam and its affliates have taken over a part of a state in nigeria. Even the nigerian police is not aware. And one can assert that the dss is also not aware.Who did this to nigeria? It's just a shame. |
Please someone should clarify for me. How did the said money get to him? Did he provide the account for them to receive it? Was he working for or with them? |
Election? Let nigeria first survive to that time. The country is on a cliff (precipice) |
I think there's something missing here. Is it that the nigerian army is delibrately lying to the whole world about its success or that there is a communication gap between commanders on the field ( that is if they are physically present) and the army headquarters? It seems the iswap fighters are still on ground. |
Just reverse rhe scenario. PDP in power at this critical point and APC is the so called main opposion. They would have made a mincemeat of the PDP with these daily killings. PDP dosen't even have a stratergy to win the next election if it eventually (who knows) takes place. It seem to me that both of them are the same. APC wants to achieve in eight years the level of destruction that took the PDP sixteen years to do. Congratulations to both of them |
How we are. Such is life. I hope they would not say the video was doctored. |
Nobody seem to know what's happening with the bandits, kidnapped students and the government. They are obviously killing or delibrately allowing them to die in order to send a message. The impression one gets is that the govt is just waiting for the bandits to kill all of them so that the chapter can end and life would go on. So sad. |
The thing is this. TV stations are only allowed to interview those endorsed by the government no matter how terrible they are. So if tomorrow the so called 'bandits' allign with the federal government of nigeria, channels and other TV stations would be free to grant them access to their stations. It does not matter if they still go about killing students and other innocent civilians or even military personel. |
