rely sad and mind-boggling, I didnt think a public figure here in Nigeria could act in such manner, a public figure who acts as such is socially unenlightened, which should not be when in the position of a state governor.

@Bashbaba,
May Allah (SWT) bestow on you, and muslims in other troubled regions of the world, His help and victory over enemies of Islam as He did with Prophet Mohammed (pbuh) and his companions, Allahumo amin.
Amin, may Allah  ( SW ) answer your inner prayer too.

@Bashbaba,

I am very sorry to hear about your situation. Allah's intervention is on its way, inshaAllah; may He solve it and punish the culprits, amin.

Beside, I'm actually left wondering: what reason(s) did they give you before carrying out that operation? Is it the site/plot that was gotten illigally, or the building that was built not in accordance with rules or what? Or they just don't want to see mosques being built because it may yield "terrorists"; or simply they are fighting Islam and Muslims? I can't understand it, wallahi. shocked

May Allah come to your rescue, amin.
@Mushin
May Allah be pleased with you.The Governor and his entourage went for a site visitation and on their way back, he saw our contractor working on the land.He asked them what was it that they were doing and where was their C OF O.They told him that the place belongs to the muslims and they were building a mosque and the C OF O is with the state govt under processing. He said who told them that the muslims have land there and he ordered that the following day,the commissioner must ensured that the place is being demolished otherwise himself will be fired!.By Allah, our mosque, still under construction was demolished b4 the Jummat prayer the following day under a very strict supervison of some military men.But in some places, before demolition excercise was being carried out, notices were being given. In some cases, the place is being marked :''Stop work'' and things like that and this takes several days for govt to put its records together to know whether such a place is good for demolition either with or without compensation. Why this verbal pronouncement in the case of our mosque?

NOTE: It is an undeniable fact that most houses built in Rivers State particularly in Port Harcourt City and particularly ones owned by strangers have not gotten their COO in the last 10Yrs.I am aware that throughout Gov Odili's tenure,no single COO sighned for land that accommodated the houses built by the strangers. Some quarters among the Yorubas particularly those leaving at Elimgbu,Eneka,Eliosu and other yoruba dominated areas believe it is a calculated attempt to settle certain political/tribal scores. Most people start to build their houses whenever they have gotten the approval of both the council and the state govt. Then, the COOs were being awaited while the building were being completed in all the cases.

The land was neither an illegally acquired ppty nor the structure is located at a place not designated for building as we were wary of the ongoing demolition excercise in Port City.At initial stage ,we used to pray at Rainbow barrack's mosque located at Trans Amadi. The barrack was an old place for military personnel in Rivers State b4 they were being relocated to Borri Camp. After the relocation, most soldiers left thier families behind and some civilians were also there just as some pple find it convinient to live wt soldiers. As tradition in most barracks, there used to be mosque. So, we were using the mosque for our Jammah prayers including Jumaat even after the soldiers have almost left and the few that did nt leave the place completely used to come.At a point,Rainbow barrack became a mecca of sort for all bad boys to gather and perpetuate all their heinous crimes ranging from selling ''Igbo'' to robbery and others.Sometimes we will be at work while gun shots would be sporadically heard. These are few of many other vices that sprung their ugly heads after the evacuation of soldiers at the area.Ofcourse, they were hallmarks left behind by the soldiers. At a point, the govt got disatisfied with these and ordered the demolition of the whole Rainbow barrack. This was to pave way for the erection of low cost housing estate. The idea that everybody not leaving there welcomed. The mosque ,definately must go since it belonged to the military. When the demolition was in progress,we were still praying our jummat there and even after demolition,we would still converge to offer our jummat services.Brothers started a campaign for raising money by the way of contribution, meeting pple and all other forms of halal way of getting money to erect a mosque. After that, we acquired a land at the opposite axis, far away from Rainbow barrack both within the same Trans Amadiand in a village call ''Small London''.The place is also close to Mummy Market but share a boundary with a company, couple of houses and even a church is within the vicinity.

The place was owned by a Rivers man ofcourse. As at the time we wanted to buy the land,we discovered that the place was under dispute. His lawyer said there was no problem any longer. We got a proffessional service from a competent  lawyer to see with the man's lawyer to get to the root of the matter. We needed a place within Trans Amadi Industrial area because of the nature of our work on a side as we could not go all the way to the main city for our prayer and to always have a place to observe jummat prayer on the other side. Our lawyer came with a verified and veritable report that during Odili reign as the gov of Rivers State,he collected the land from the owner. The man took him and his govt to court and the ruling was that the govt illegally snached it and so, the land was to be given back to the rightful owner which he did.It was after this,we bought the land.Aside this, it will be of your intrest to know that the Rainbow axis map that depict the entire areas to be demolished and where buildings are not to occupy based on Port Carcourt city initial plan is with us.This very mosque does not violate any of these rules. This mosque has the approval of both the council and the state govt . And this mosque as at the time of demolition, has costed 60million naira plus the land.

Another salient point of consideration is the pronouncement I heard the state govt made about 2 weeks ago that pple shd stop buying land within Port harcourt metropolis. They were advised to go to neigbouring villages like Obigbo. This was indeed an attempt and an effort by Amaechi govt to develop other areas aside the city.Be it as it may, this does not suppose to take effect over a land bought  about 3yrs ago and we have started praying jummat prayer there since that same time.

@Mushin
Or they just don't want to see mosques being built because it may yield "terrorists"; or simply they are fighting Islam and Muslims?

Walahi,my guess here is as good as yours.

It is imperative that our needs are still the same:

1.Prayers from our brothers

2.Political connections to solve the imbroglio.
IslamRe: Muslims, What's Happening In Your Life? A Brother Needs your Assistance. Page 15 by Bashbaba(m): 4:48pm On Feb 05, 2010
SWW All,

We ( the muslims working around Trans Amadi Ind Area of Port Harcourt) are in a very big problem as I speak with you.Our mosque was earmarked for demolition almost three yrs ago as part of the demolition excercise carried out around Raibow Barrack by Odili Govt.It is a long story sha, , We got another plots of land after so much efforts were made to solicit for funds.Few weeks ago,we started the building of the mosque which our extimation put at 400 Billion Naira.

We were there this afternoon to observe our Jummat Prayer only to realised that Gov Amaechi had made order for the demolition of the site and indeed the structure has been demolished.

Our Needs:

1. Your Prayer world wide to see us through erecting another mosque even if Allah will use the hand of Kafir to do it,

2. If you have anybody that we can contact to help us prevail upon him to let us be.

Insha Allah your question shall be entertained bcs I cant just go into details at once. Walaikun Salam.

IslamRe: Ruben Abati And His Unislamic Statement On Gani's Burial. by Bashbaba(op): 10:28am On Sep 18, 2009
z-murda:
I laughed when I saw this. Common this is the 21st century bro. I know your religion does not allow freedom of speech, however I think the Nigerian constitution makes an effort to. It would be quite easy for another religious bigot to whip up sentiments against Mr Abati and Guardian on this, which is what you are doing.
He is allowed to say whatever is on his mind. For one, I think the custom of rushing to bury a corpse is antediluvian. This system is used hide a myriad of crimes and murders. I think corpses should be subjected to autopsies to establish causes of death.
I don't know what you are talking about Muslim leaders being buried same days. I for one know some emirs who died outside the country and were brought back into Nigeria some days back for burial, so also were some muslim 'world' leaders (read emir of Ilorin, Sadat, Arafat and yes Fahd!).
Gani's wish was not to be buried at the same day. Surely, as a good muslim he saw something wrong with such practice that was clearly why him and his family went against this practice. Will he go to jahannam because of this? I seriously doubt it.

I laughed when I saw this.

I am sure that I laughed more than you did .Your response shows that majority don’t really read in between the lines, jump into conclusion  and start to reply. May be I will recommend that you read again.

He is allowed to say whatever is on his mind.

Ofcourse , Abati can say whatever he wants in as much as what he is saying is nothing but  the truth .If otherwise, people will definately tell him what is supposed to be the truth. And that, we have done.

I don't know what you are talking about Muslim leaders being buried same days.

I never said Muslims or Muslim leaders must be buried same day of their death .You might need to read again so as to comprehend what I said .What I said, simply put, was that their burial must not be extended more than the stated period in Islam .This does not necessarily means a day .It could be two or more. It all depend on the circumstances .If you need to know more ,do not hesitate to ask questions.

]Gani's wish was not to be buried at the same day. Surely, as a good muslim he saw something wrong with such practice that was clearly why him and his family went against this practice.

For all I care,Gani could have said he doesn’t want to be buried at all .It is a free world: modern day where everyone decides what is good for himself or herself. Our problem is that word ‘revised’’ that Abati employed in his write up . He should have simply said what he wanted to say as to how he , Gani wanted to be buried but not resulting to falsehood against the religion .Islam is a complete way of life .It might even surprise you that in Islam, you don’t have a wish .Once you subscribe to it ,you follow what is therein in its entirety .Your wish is taken care of already. You need no will bcs your will is written in the Quran. You need not bother about your burial but the Muslim ummah has what to follow and will Insha Allah give you a befitting burial that will make you to meet Allah in peace.

Funny. As a good mulim you said?.Can anyone be good muslim more than Muhammed (SAW) ?Things like that does not exist in Islam. Somebody could be more catholic than the pope if popacy is being politicized but definitely if you are more muslim than Muhammed SAW,your religion is not Islam. If he was indeed as you have claimed, He should have founded his religion.May be Protestant?. For those BURIAL rites they displayed are not of Islam and goes against the tenets of Islam.

Will he go to jahannam because of this? I seriously doubt it.

We are not to judge but to tell some of our brothers who could be gullible as far as the religion is concerned .For them to note that what they have done to Gani’s  remain is not worthy of emulation by  Muslims and for people like Abati to know that Islamic principles were never and will never be revised .It was completed, sealed  and delivered .Neither addition nor subtraction is welcomed .Multiplication, mutilation ,revision and re-revision is not allowed in Islam .A league of Muslim Nations  will never be called to revise Quran as the other people did few weeks ago

You seriously doubt? May be that is your judgement  spelt in rhetoric. Unlike you, I have no doubt in me that Allah will definitely put him where he belongs. He does what He wills .I don’t spell his judgement. I spell whatever He says.He knows where to put him, I lack knowledge of it but im sure He will be just with him.

My brother you are very correct .We share the same opinion here .Gani excercised  his right and that is fine and no fuss. HE REFUSED TO BE BURIED AS A MUSLIM .And not that Islamic ethics and principles were revised .BUT ABATI has not done his job very well because he was not payed to misinform or feed the general public with lies. He needs to do his home works and researches bcs pen is just like the bullet but more deadlier than bullet particularly when handled by prolific writer such as Abati. Once something is released from it, it destroys more than gun

Salam alykun!

In present day journalism, Reuben Abati needs no introdution. He is tutored, seasoned, veteran and polished per excellence journalist. He is with Guardian Newspaper editorial board. Not being sentimental,he had written lots of beautiful pieces of crafty works that shape the society we lived in.But just yesterday, the man erred when he dabbled into an area of religion where his verse knowledge does not cover. While showering eulogies on late Gani Fawehinmi in yeseterday's Guardian Newspaper in a tribute tittled :  Gani :Radical to the end.The following words are culled from his write up:

''It has taken a Gani for us to realise that the Islamic practice of burying the dead immediately can be revised. All of a sudden, in respecting Gani's last wish that all the constituencies to which he belonged should be allowed to pay their last respects, many have become experts in reporting that the only reason Muslims in the desert regions are buried within 24 hours is because of heat and that in the rain forest region, this may not be necessary. Still, it doesn't matter. Gani has been praised fulsomely by the Muslim Jammat. He is a transcendental icon who deserves to be celebrated. ''

It is pertinent to let Reuben and the entire world know that Islamic practices had not and will not be revised for any man's wish and for any reason. It is a sealed and complete guardiance that Islam has brought and it has made provisions for our excesses! All these too,go with their purnishments. In this present day society, you could be allowed to bury your dead in the way you had wished but one thing is sure:If it does not follow the laid down principles in islam,it  is unislamic. One might be brave, knowledgeable, lovable yet ignorant in islamic affairs.

It is better we advice this popular journalist to eschew from publishing things he has no knowledge about or probably heard form friends in the beer beer parlour who though bear muslim names, but are not muslims that are practising their religion. To them, everything goes

Islam's position is known on burials. There is neither ambiguity nor controversies.Even as a Muslim President or a leader of the Muslims worldwide, his time for burial as stated in islam must not be exceded.

In as much as we will want to be identified with our  late brother,Gani,we need to inform muslims that his burial style is not of muslims and must not be emulated.May Allah forgive him of his mistakes, shortcomings, ignorance and allow him enterance to paradise.

@ post No 6, No37 and No 45

I guess RIBADU with this action has shown he is a criminal!-And the likes of Ibori are saints

He should turn himself up like a LAW abiding citizen.

So that he could  suffer the same faith as Gani .
Gani that he came to visit always turn himself up. He never run away from the law.

Ribadu has never claimed to be Gani.Neither has he said anywhere he wishes to replace Gani.Everybody has gotten his /her own style on championing the cause he/she believed in.Thank God,Gani appreciated this gentleman when he, Gani lived.

Hope u still remember the goals Gani fought hard for? If you cant vividly, may I remind you that he fought tiredlessly but consistently for but not limited to:

1.Respect for the rule of Law.IS OUR LAWS BEING WELL RESPECTED TODAY AND BY ALLl?
2.He fought so that justice could reign.AND INJUSTICE IS EVERYWHERE.
3.He fought for Human right to be respected.YET OUR RIGHT:OPENLY VIOLATED.
4.He fought so that our youths would be in schools.INSTITUTIONS ARE ALMOST PERMANENTLY CLOSED WHILE PRISON YARDS ARE PERPETUALLY WIDE OPENED
5.He fought so that Govt would be more responsible to the citizens through provision of basic infrastructures.AND THE LAST TIME I SAW LIGHT,I COULD NOT REMEMBER
6.He fought so that our ballot boxes would be  safe.AND YARADUA SAID THE SYSTEM THAT BROUGHT HIM TO POWER WAS FAULTY.and the list is endless,

If I may now ask you if you live in Nigeria, Do you have a power generating set ?Do you pump your own water ?Do you engage in community services to reapir your roads? Do you employ security services to guide you house?

If your responses are in affirmative, then you have told us that your Govt have failed you and what Gani fought for were not accomplished .You are also saying that they have only succeded in making us to lose the man whom we loved so dearly.Has it ever occur to you that Gani could have lived for more years if he has not been languishing in julags during those dark days of the miliatry juntas.Though we appreciate his style, but he could have lived at least more years for us.

If Ribadu follows the same steps taken by SAM,then, all these  ABOVE highlighted goals Gani intended to achieve will have to wait for another 30 years when Gani's grandson that is known for behaving same as him would grow up to take up the challenge.Otherwise, you  will need to wait for another 30 years to get these services in Nigeria.

Nothing but criminal runs from the LAW of the land.
Even if the law will not be followed to the letter and could sometimes use as tool for unjust prosecution
He is actually degrading Nigeria and you people are rejoicing.
It is better we rejoice this way than celebrating his death now.Guys wake up.We all know what Nigeria is up to.We cant afford to lose more of these guys.It is one country where judges are hen and where cockroaches will never witness justice. The fact that he did not sneak into the country through one of the boarders speaks volumes not of Ribadu but of an insecured and porous nation that is prone to external attack and that is insensitive  to her self and her citizenry! Chasing Ribadu degrades us the more now that is enjoying international popularity. More degrading is presenting players who tested overaged with MIR during this period of DE-branding Nigeria and thereby leaving us NAKED
Atiku(note, i don't care about him) stood his ground and went from court cases to court cases, that's strengthen Nigeria.

A politician that still have some of his loyalists at his back.He controlled a reasonable numbers of office holders. No wonder he went back to dustin of history where he belongs and his political foes said he is politically dead.Until stated in a clearer terms,Ribadu was not a politician when he headed EFCC.
Abiola stood his ground. He gave us what is JUNE 12 today even though his dead.
No wonder this period is refered to as pre democratic era and June 12 not nationally recorgnised.Abiola would have been better alive than a dead.At least for our sake.
Gani stood his ground. He gave us hope which is almost lost now.
The hope will further intensify its lost if we allow people like Ribadu to die without rallying around him and play our roles collectively to take Nigeria to the next level they denied SAM.I believe Gani wouldnt want him dead now. When Gani was alive,he never asked him to come back and face the HANGERS AND THEIR HANG MEN.
Ribadu can step into Gani's shoes the moment he respect the LAW and turn himself up.
Its not neccessary he steps into  Gani's shoes.Gani himself left a shoe too big ( an oversize ) for Ribadus of our world to wear.So let him do is in his little way and let us appreciate now that his alive not when they kill in Kuje prison and we begin to show solidarity support when he is layin- in -state at Kuje Prison
If RIBADU is HONEST, let him turn himself up to LAW and face his detractors in LAW court instead of sneaking around like common criminal he was busy chasing in his days.

Call looters, fraudsters, forgerers common criminals? May be hardened criminals u ought to have said!May be you wished that these criminals get him killed.

I think its high time we forgot who employed Ribadu and celebrate an uncommon quality and ability he displayed in fighting crime for his nation.Whether or not he fought OBJ enemies is inconsequential. He fought a good fight. We had to start somewhere. Now that Waziri is there, let her start with OBJ friends so that the equation can be balanced.
Here is a poser for all:

While on earth, did Gani of this world would have endorsed a person like Ribadu as a good son of the soil especially when he was appointed by OBJ's Administration if not proven beyond reasonable doubt that he was of good moral?, Gani was never ambiguous in making his position known. We knew where he stood and he was never knew for talking before thinking!

The beauty of a city is not determined by the number of story buildings and good roads that are available in that city but the number of educated youths in such city.In this regard,Gani is a builder of human resources. He had always been threading the path of  the truth even when he was alone. As a lone fighter that he was,he single handedly changed the destiny of his fatherland through thorough radical political civilization. He fast-forwarded the political devt of this state by decades. He stood tall among men because of his consistent consistencies as against their own inconsistent consistencies.

He was born in the village,
He lived in the city,
He  died in the  city
He will be buried in the village and amids his people but
He will lives on in the minds of the peoples.

Such a determined man comes once in a century.Definately not in my generation again.May Allah be pleased with him.
PoliticsRe: Gani Fawehinmi Passed On? by Bashbaba(m): 9:20am On Sep 08, 2009
Gani!!! Ina lillahi wainaillay Rojiun. Do we actually know who this man is or was?

One of the few men known and recorgnised with only their first names.

He has been in jail and detention more than any Nigerian: dead or alive.

So, its true that  tall trees never last in the forest.
While he lived,he was the cynosure of all eyes,
Cicero of  Ondo,
The threat to every Military Junta,
A cancer in the blood for bad governance and its menaces,
The conscience of  Nigerian State,
One man battalion that confronted Nigerian Army and opened his chest at the front of armoured tank.
Whenever he sneezed, the govt catched cold!

It's actually true that when looters die,no comet seen, but heaven itself blazed forth at the death of a prince.
To call Gani an hero is an understatement. The heroic and iconic status which Gani attained had put a question mark to the legendaries of many people that such words have been abusively used for.

It is indeed a bad moment for Nigeria,a sad time for Nigerians,a dark day for democracy and the rule of law and indeed a dull, drab and yet sorrowful time for the masses. To the family,I will say we lost a jewel of inextimable value in Gani.To friends, you have lost a rare and dependable  gem,To the needies,we have lost the greatest philantrophist of our time in Gani.To the legal practicioners, they have lost in Gani a polished, inorruptable and examplinary colleague, tutor and a legal luminary. To the activists,a dogged fighter and inspiration is gone.To the masses, we have lost one  man with many qualities- a loudspeaker or  mouthpiece for the voiceless,an ear to aid the deaf, an eye for the blind and a gauge to measure the performance of our leaders. To  the
politicians,I will say the Lion is wounded (broken its leg) you can now have a free day to operate. Our counscience is dead!

Could Gani have died after fighting several battles many of whom he won? Couldnt Gani have simply won a battle with just an ordinary cancer? Men of goodwills are not meant to live forever .If they do, they get tired of doing good all the times while what they always get in return is evil.He has to go. At least to teach other good men left behind a lesson that the good work is just for an appointed time after which they will die.So, they have to continue doing the good work for a while (short time that they will live). That is where I take my solace.

Can we ever get somebody like Gani again? Maybe in another generation!
Gani is a rare man:it takes centuries to see their likes.

May Allah repose his soul.Farahu Waraiyanu Wajanatu Naheemi (Amin)

Nobody has asked sleek89 anything partaining to the spherical nature of the earth before he started reeling off ungenuine points to rubbish the truth. All what I expected from him, if anything at all is to proof that Quran copied the Bibble when it said Pharaoh was to be preserved;that he was not preserved;that the Quran did not say so or betterstill, the Bibble told us about the preservation. If any of these can not be proven, matter ends.

I hope you will make yourself clearer.
Thanks a lot Alhaji Olabowale.I thought it was only myself who cant understand hebrew with which the statement was written.Eventhough I know what he intended to ask and could have provided answer for such based on Tafsir of Quran by Abdullah Yusuf Ali page 732,I decided not to.The post is not meant to be derailed. It is for the muslim brothers and sisters to see not the miracle but the beauty of Quran as a complete book from Allah (S.W).May Allah forgive me,I intentionally ignored him!

Thanks to Allah for He has given us a spokeperson like Alhaji, otherwise a lot of us would have gotten a heavy loads of work to do.Looking at the threads all over, one feels satisfied as to the heavy blows he had dealt with those erroneous beliefs of theirs. In most cases,we always dont even need to post any reply than to hold back saying Wallahu Yasimuka Mina Nas for elder Adebowale and his brothers .He has virtually said it all.

It is a mystery that a prophet died of poison because it put his prophethood into question but it never occur to anyone that it is more than an abnormal (predicted or not) for the so call son of god to be nailed ( by their own account eventhough  I do not belief, borrowing the words of Alhaji )when God has nothing to do with blood ( for sins He can perdon without neccessarily shedding blood)

@Olabowale
Have you ever asked them the type of death they were expected of Mustafa if truly he should be considered a genuine prophet by their standards? Probably if he had died on the cross, live forever as an immortal and supreme being (Allah S.W) or beheaded like John, the baptist and his father, Zakarriyau ( May Allah be pleased with all of them)
You dont actually need to say more, their faiths are made and their hearts are sealed just as Allah's statements must come to pass. You can not help that! Thank Allah for having mercy on your mother.Save Allah's mercy, she would have been among the astrayed.I pray she shares Firdaus with the likes of Maryam, the innocent mother of Jesus (AS) and the believing wife of that stone-hearted Kufr of Egypt.

IslamRe: I'm Asking For Permission by Bashbaba(m): 8:13am On Jul 09, 2009
Nezan:
The Quran is very emphatic in telling the Muslim that every Muslim will enter hell. But "How come that you would embrace a religion who will not give you the assurance of eternal life?" No Muslim have that kind of assurance. No Muslim, because the Quran doesn't give this assurance to any Muslim. And then the Quran, in very plain words, you see, says that every Muslim, every Muslim must enter hell. Every Muslim. And that is in surat Mariam, surat number 19, and I want to read that for you, from there. Surat number 19, in the Quran, and we read the words, in verse 66, "And a man says, when I am dead, shall I then be raised up alive? Does not man, remember, that we created him before, while he was nothing? So by your lord, surely we shall gather them, human beings, together, and also the devil." Human beings and the devil will be gathered, and also the devil with them. "Then we shall bring them round hell, on their knees." Allah is saying we shall gather human beings with the devil, and we shall bring them round hell, on their knees. And then, it is said in verse 71, in the very same surat, "There is not one of you that will pass over hell." If we want the accurate meaning, there is no one of you but will enter hell. Passover, this is not a literal translation at all. There is no one, there is not one of you that will pass over hell. This is with your lord, a decree which must be accomplished." What does this mean? God must send every Muslim to hell. Of course, when you come to the clerics and ask them, "What do you think about that?" and they say, "Yes. Every Muslim will go to hell for a time until he serves his time, and then he'll go to paradise." But according to the Quran, anyone who will enter hell, he will be eternally there." The Quran says that! When anyone enters hell, he will be there eternally. There is no assurance for eternal life in the Quran.
On the other hand, when you come to Jesus Christ, and the gospel of John 5:24, "if anyone hears my voice, and believes on the one who sent me, he'll have eternal life" He will not come to judgment. He is transferred from this to life. Assurance. Assurance. The disciples came to Jesus rejoicing. All, even Satan, obey the commandment when we tell them to get out of any possessed person. And Jesus said, "Do not rejoice because Satan is under your authority. Rejoice because your names are written in Heaven. Rejoice because you have eternal life. That is the most important." So when you go to the New Testament, and you go to the Quran, in the Quran there is no assurance whatsoever, to any Muslim of going to paradise or to Heaven after death. On the other hand, in the New Testament, it is a guarantee. If you believe with your heart, that Jesus Christ died for you on the cross of Calvary, receive Him as the only begotten Son who died on your behalf, you'll receive eternal life immediately, and it will be eternal. That is the difference between the two.
You  have actually tried enough to interprete the Qur'an for us.You must have kneel bent to destroy the religion of Allah and to add your own opinnion to what the Quran says.Indeed ''Passover'' and ''enter'' are the same from your  own dictionary.Read about Abu Jahl and his notorious warriors who fought against Allah and what became their ends. Sumun bukmun umyun fahum layar'jiun. And take time to further to that same Surah 19:72 to see that you wont be that lucky!
