b.) The Tax Charge: Generally when people pay back their taxes, interest and penalties they are not charged for Tax crimes. We don't have to look far to see this. Just look at Roger Stone. He owed more for a longer period and wasn't charged criminally, but the DOJ went civil route

2.) The now Special Prosecutor tried to screw Hunter Biden and lied to the Judge. The deal did include a broad immunity. And they kept changing the deal because of the noise Republicans were making. Hence letting politics drive their decision.
