Scorpio99:
Little corrections:
1. Ali was the cousin of Muhammed, not his son.

2. Muhammed died in the room of his wife and the two people who first heard of the matter were Abu Bakr and Umar, even before any of his other wives or family knew. Ali suspected that they were the ones who murdered Muhammad.

3. Ordinarily, the caliphate (role of Muhammad) was supposed to devolve on Ali, but due to internal wranglings, he didn't become the caliph. In fact, he was the last to rule out of the four companions of Muhammad.
Thanks. I wasn't sure - whether Muhammad had a son.

‎Lord Adam was right.. Many years ago I read a paper about the rivalry between the Shia and Sunni factions of Islam.
‎The two are sworn enemies right from 632AD with Muhammad's demise. The Shia believed the successor should've been from Muhammad lineage, his son Ali ( I may be wrong) while the Sunni believed a council of elders should have selected the caliph, which they did with Abu Bakr. Rivalry led to Battle of Karbala in 680AD where Hussein bin Ali , Muhammad grandson was killed . The Shia have the Ashura festival where they cut themselves up to remember how Hussein Ali died.
‎The differences exist until today.
‎The Arabs have a revenge code called Qisas. An eye for an eye, but theirs is permanent, if you don't seek revenge, your great great great grandchildren will take revenge one day. If the Shia don't vanquish the Sunni one of their own generation will one day. The vice versa applies too.
In Iran the black turban won by the Shia is a visual indicator of the bearer being a descedant from Muhammad lineage.
‎So the Shia Sunni divide continues todate with Ayatollahs seeking to be the leading sect while the Sunni are dominant and are 85% of the Muslim population .

‎The only sure unity where the two will unite is when the Muslims are facing an attack from the kuffar (infidel ). If the attacker is Jewish they will instantly unite against the Yehudi (Jew).

‎Iran calculation in this war is that since IDF is attacking them ,all Muslims will forget that Sunni Shia division and unite. Add the Big Satan (America) and the unity becomes almost a foregone conclusion.

‎Idiots..Times have changed. The Arab countries are diversifying their economies, relying on FDI from the infidels to prop up their economies.Ameeica is self sufficient in oil , being a net energy exporter today. Many countries also have oil ,the largest reserves in Venezuela are effectively under America control.

‎Image of Ashura festival. Shia Muslims flagellating themselves in remembrance of Hussein Ali.
‎The religious symbolism runs really deep.
‎If you understand this history, it's easy to solve the problem. At this time I believe there are elements in the US Israel cadres who know exactly what needs to be done Coddle the Sunnis.
‎Hope this educates foolishboy419

Judicial Watch uncovers documents showing that FBI said the raid on Mar a Lago lacked probable cause.
Probable cause is the legal standard of having sufficient reason or evidence based on known facts to believe that a crime has been committed or that specific property is connected to a crime.

https://www.judicialwatch.org/records-show-fbi-objecting-to-mar-a-lago-raid/

Merrick Garland went ahead to approve the raid. Trump remotely watched as FBI goons ransacked Melania closet sniffing her underwear.

FBI/DOJ democrats have always treated conservatives with utmost disdain. Some J6 protesters were put in solitary confinement for 23 hours a day. Many were also denied bail during trial and subjected to lengthy sentences Over 300 were jailed for the crime of obstructing Congress,a crime that only applied to civil destruction of evidence as happened in the Enron case. The charge was declared void by the Supreme court.

Roger Stone home was raided in the early hours while they would have simply summoned him to show up. CNN crew livestreamed the raid , likely having been alerted beforehand.
Peter Navarro was put in leg chains and handcuffs for refusing to testify before J6 Committee citing the executive privilege that Trump had invoked.
John Eastman, Trump's lawyer had his iphone snatched and forced to face unlock it as he left a restaurant by FBI.
Michael Cohen had his office and home searched ,his files and documents protected by attorney client privilege taken away in search of any crime.

Perfectly exposes liberal derangement and acknowledgement of Iran military being primitive neanderthals. Same goes to Hamas, Palestinians, Hezbollah,Al Qaeda, ISIS etc.
They have been targeting civilians firing at hotels, oil tankers, airports , residential, synagogues whole also using cluster munitions.
If IDF or USAF was to do the same you hit the roof.
Which is which?

Spot on re: printing press, and many other factors. A TV01 will never avert his mind to that.

Re: covering of women, this predated Islam if I am not mistaken.
Covering up of women predated Islam to dine extent. The Arabs didn't have it until Umar bin Khattab saw one of the many wives of the prophets in the field.
Google Gemini.
Umar ibn al-Khattab and the Hijab
Before the revelation of the verses of Hijab (veiling), the Prophet's wives would go out to the fields for their needs.
The Observation: Umar ibn al-Khattab was very anxious for a divine order regarding the veiling of the Prophet's wives. He once saw Sauda (another wife of the Prophet) from a distance and called out, "I have recognized you, O Sauda!" to emphasize the need for privacy.

The Outcome: Shortly after this, the "Verse of the Veil" was revealed, instructing the wives to cover themselves.

Add Gutenberg's invention of the printing press. The bible became widely available, translated into other languages apart from Latin, different interpretation distinct from the Papal Edicts came to the fore.
Islam is rigid. What's in the Quran can never be changed till the last day. Every command is eternal and deviation will lead to a death sentence. Those who know where it might be in error never speak publicly about it. It's drilled into the adherents from cradle to grave that it's the unchanging word of Allah.
I'll give a historical context to covering the hair and body by women. An early aide told the prophet that he had seen his wife going out uncovered ( implication - other men feasted their eyes on her). So a revelation was brought down. Women must cover themselves fully from head to toe to avoid tempting the eyes of men .Strict adherents demand full body cover today.. Saudi Arabia, Taliban, ISIS etc
ono:
True to some extent, Deep. But we have to look at the enabling factors (if you like, environment) that allowed this (egalitarian societies) to thrive. Now, It was "rebellion" that made Martin Luther, particularly the posting of his 95 Theses in 1517, that challenged the Catholic Church's practices, especially the sale of indulgences, leading to a significant split in Western Christianity known as the Protestant Reformation. Luther's actions made the Church look inwards and ultimately birthed the age of "enlightenment". People realised that they can read things for themselves (especially the Bible), learn and not be spoon fed by priests and Popes - and the Church leadership agreed!

My point is that whichever way you want to look at it, the Judeo-Christian background still remain the catalyst that is at the root of the freedoms and egalitarian societies that we have going for Western Civilisation as it is today. Luther was a Christian and after him, many other Christian "activists" came to the fore to lead many of the "improvements" in Christendom and in Western Societies that we are enjoying today.

In contrast, the Islamic religion has failed to "evolve" (as you rightly noted) over the centuries - and the result of their backwardness is evident to all as it is today. What I don't understand though is how we have progressives in places like the UK, France and even now I hear Scandinavian countries, all embracing the evil that is inherent in present day Islam. Although I read that it was "paid for". I guess we can't explain away everything, there some things that are better left to time to reveal.

Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman delivered one of his most direct public assessments of the Iranian regime, describing it as a purely ideological project with no interest in serving its own people and every interest in funding terrorism and destabilizing the region.

His evidence was concrete. Iran received $150 billion in sanctions relief yet did not build a single street, residential complex, or industrial facility for its citizens. Every dollar went toward launching missiles at Saudi Arabia and financing terrorist organizations across the world.

MBS went further than most Western leaders have been willing to go publicly, stating directly that Iran’s support for terrorism extends well beyond Hezbollah and the Houthis. He noted that senior Al-Qaeda leaders are residing inside Iran today, including Osama bin Laden’s son, who was raised in Iran and is now positioning himself as the next leader of Al-Qaeda.

The Crown Prince said Saudi Arabia has no ambiguity about these dangers and is actively coordinating with partners on how to address them to keep the Middle East, Europe, and the broader world safe from what he called these destructive ideologies.

The statement represents one of the clearest and most comprehensive public indictments of the Iranian regime from a sitting Arab head of government, delivered at a moment when Iran is simultaneously firing missiles at Saudi territory and running proxy networks from Beirut to Khartoum to Sanaa

DEI. Ketanji Brown wants to score political points .

Justice Jackson's Supreme Court Meltdown: Rudely Interrupting Seniors and Trampling Tradition

In the oral arguments over birthright citizenship, Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson showed exactly why she's wearing out her welcome on the Supreme Court. She can't seem to follow basic rules of order, repeatedly jumping the line and steamrolling more senior justices.

Chief Justice Roberts has restored some much-needed structure to these sessions. Lawyers get a quick opening pitch, then questioning starts with the longest-serving justice and proceeds by seniority. It's a simple protocol every other justice respects.

Not Jackson. She barged in at least three times during the first round alone. First, she interrupted Justice Gorsuch mid-question—he ignored her and kept going. Then she tried to cut off Justice Barrett right after Gorsuch finished, when it was clearly Barrett's turn. Kavanaugh skipped the first round, but Jackson still couldn't wait. She interrupted Barrett again later in the same round. By the third time, a fed-up Barrett just let her ramble on.

This isn't minor bad manners. It's a blatant disregard for the traditions that keep the Court functioning as a serious institution, not a free-for-all. Jackson's impatience and self-importance signal she's indifferent to the collegiality the other justices honor. Little things like this isolate a justice fast.

The left's diversity hire is proving once again that merit and restraint matter more than identity politics. If Jackson keeps this up, she'll alienate her colleagues and turn herself into a footnote of judicial dysfunction.

He should be . Islam teaches that Jesus was a prophet That he did not die and resurrect. Instead Allah deceived everyone that it happened. Allah made it to happen to someone else and deceived people that it was Issa (Jesus).
Whenever a Muslim says Christianity and Islam share the same God , ask them bluntly if Jesus died and resurrected. A yes or no.
This belief shared by every Muslim on this earth was revealed to Mohammed around 600 years after the death of Jesus.
After books had been written about it. An desert Arab man over 1000 miles away has the correct version of what happened .
The Quraish man who saw where the sun sets in a pond ,whose followers still believe the earth is flat as he said then.

There have been blacks on space missions for long. One of NASA's brightest minds was a black woman. I am sure you have seen the movie.

Beyond that:

Katherine Johnson: A mathematical genius who calculated the trajectories for the first American in space (Alan Shepard) and the first American to orbit the Earth (John Glenn). Glenn famously refused to fly unless Katherine herself verified the electronic computer's calculations.

Dorothy Vaughan: NASA's first African-American supervisor. She saw the future in digital computers and taught herself (and her staff) the FORTRAN programming language to ensure they remained essential to the agency.

Mary Jackson: NASA’s first Black female engineer. She had to win a court battle just to attend the "all-white" night classes required to earn her engineering credentials.

RUBIO REVOKES GREEN CARDS OF SOLEIMANI RELATIVES, IRAN-LINKED NATIONALS

Hamideh Soleimani Afshar — niece of slain IRGC Maj. Gen. Qasem Soleimani — & her daughter were arrested by federal agents and are now in ICE custody.

While living in the U.S., Afshar allegedly promoted Iranian regime propaganda, celebrated attacks on American soldiers, praised the new Iranian Supreme Leader, called America the “Great Satan,” and expressed support for the IRGC — a designated terror organization — all while living what State described as a “lavish lifestyle” in Los Angeles.

Afshar’s husband has been barred from entering the U.S. Separately, earlier this month Rubio terminated the LPR status of Fatemeh Ardeshir-Larijani — daughter of former Iranian NSC chief Ali Larijani — and her husband. Both are no longer in the U.S. and are barred from future entry.

“The Trump Administration will not allow our country to become a home for foreign nationals who support anti-American terrorist regimes.”
