He won the UEFA Champions league, finished as joint top scorer in the epl with 22 goals while Mahrez had 7 goals, finished as finalist in afcon with 3 goals and 1 assist, while Mahrez had 3 goals with no assist. Mane is not necessarily better than Mahrez, but playing for Liverpool gives him an edge as he has more playing time, unlike mahrez that plays for a large mancity squad that is often rotated.

To be honest Liverpool were lucky to draw that game. Although before the match I thought they'd batter Man Utd but that wasn't the case. Ultimately this result will kick start Man Utd's season. I see them doing better going forward because of the confidence boost they'll get from this game.
