Mecka:
work is 6 days. Do you know anything about bukkahut

Yeah, It's a good restaurant located at Lekki phase 1 with about 14 outlets scattered in Lagos. But don't really know about their working conditions; just do your due diligence.

Mecka:
is restaurant a good place to work

Sure; it all depends on the working conditions and what works for you as an individual.

Why not quit?

They can't quit until they get another. How will they pay bills?

Although for me, I will rather quit & develop myself. But, that's the fate of many workers.

Meerahbel:
I have my peace
I can't not come and run mad in Lagos.

5:00am eyes don open, 600am you don road

5:00-6:00pm you close from work, 7:00pm-8:00pm inside bus you eyes dey blink, 10:00pm you finally reach house dey think of wetin you go chop.

Before you finally eat 11:00pm don nak.
12:00-1:00pm sleep don come,, you finally sleep by 1:00am.

4am you don wake again again. Hell no, I collected the salary and call it quit.

That's the pattern especially if you live in mainland ND works in Island. The most annoying is that some employers will still get mind owe such workers salary despite the stress

Crime / Re: How I Was Scammed Through Fake Alert! by Bassmetrics: 1:33pm On Apr 21
Na person dey make person bad. Now this innocent man took pity on the baby only for him to discover that his kind heart has caused him financial loss.

Op I can relate to your story.
From experience; there are even some people that you will take pity on to release goods based on the fact that you know them, probably your customer & same reason as he just narrated esp when you feel the money is not that much. Once they get home, you will be the one begging them to come and pay you....like play like play it turns to debt. Like play like you will be hearing: sorry I had to use the money to get something else, I will still come and see you.
Some people deserve no pity at all.

"The only mistake you made was that these guys are total stranger that you can't easily trace". But to say this can't happen to you is a lie especially if you're the type that can easily take pity on people. Na Dem loose cos God will continue to bless your kind heart while they incur His wrath.

I don't mean you will be unemployed I mean jobs that guarantees faster response.
My guys have been applying for data analyst... Not a single response since last year.
Same with 3 of my colleagues.

Like I said earlier, whatever that works for you. Whichever skill that you know it's route best.

Carpenters, bricklaying, plumbing, joinry etc welder
Nice jobs in high demand
You can't be unemployed with any of this but can with data analytics

LoL, say what you're sure of. No skill, and I repeat no skill that you're good at in this 21© that will render you unemployed. It's not possible for anyone with value to be jobless even in Nigeria. If you have value to offer, even in Nairaland people will be looking for you😂

Get the message clearer.
Whatever works for you; it must not be Data Analytics.

Jobs/Vacancies / Re: I Got A Job Through Nairaland by Bassmetrics: 2:50pm On Feb 27
Congratulations!

One thing I do advise people is: while waiting for that job, don't be idle. Look for one thing or the other to do. Funny enough, if God blesses you in that thing, you may later discover that you don't really need the job anymore.
