Hello seniors, can more details and experience be shared for us upcoming in making informed choice concerning these lithium batteries. what are the preference between the 18650 battery as park AND Eve lithium lifepo4 battery as pack. e.g 12v 100ah made by lithium battery of the two types.
I know there is clear difference in weight and dimension size but why is one better than the other?

80a on 400ah Lead acid will kill them sooner..
1400w is not sufficient, consider times 3 of this.. and upgrade to Lifepo4.
I will not recommended this kind of load on 12v 400 lead acid

My Lg inverter Ac, draws about 680w on normal mode, but 900w on super cooling mode.
It drops to about 500w after about 6hrs of running, in an enclosed space.

At 900w, for a 12v system, thats about 80amps. So be sure you battery can support such a huge draw.
Remember 0.1C for leadacid and 1C for lithium.
Lithium batt bank is genetically predisposed to carry heavy load

All the gurus in the house, what is the difference between hybrid inverter and sine wave inverter. I don't know that's the reason I asked, I don't know anything about inverter.

Based on types, we have stand alone inverter or hybrid inverter type.
based on wave form, we have modified sine wave or pure sine wave.
inverter can come in either types with modified or pure sine wave but sine wave is always better.
the stand alone type can not work with solar panels without you buying a charge controller as a support but hybrid can work with solar panels directly (i.e inverter and solar charger in one unit). as for me I prefer stand alone because both the inverter and solar charger will probably not have fault at the same time.
my Kobo sense but expert will give more details.

The picture is not Yohako hybrid inverter, though psw.

Yohako hybrid inverter is yellow in color, psw and has Mppt 150vdc with 60A solar maximum charging current and 30A from Ac charging.
Has capacity range from 1.5kva to 10kva.

based on this attached screenshot advert it is 1.5w/12volts. unless it has been discontinued.

There is a gadget that you can use to test it. It displays the waveform of the inverter on a graphical interphase. But it's expensive

Another way to guess the type is to note the output characteristics when plugged to your gadgets. Use an AC standing fan to test it. If when the fan powers on, you hear a humming sound alongside being produced by the fan, then it's likely to be a MSW. The fan should blow quietly at low speeds with a pure wave. The humming sound is produced because the square wave is not clean wave like NEPA is.

Your washing machine will likely also make that hum but you're not likely to easily differentiate it or hear it above the natural noise produced by the washing machine motor itself.

Another way is that some sound systems also produce same humming sound thru their speakers when powered by the MSW.



I think the second one should be your target. Few or no guys here have come out to say they use Souer hybrid. But I think Yohako has some users here.

@ceaser has provided great response which I add my +1 to. Mine is a 379 the guy has been running most of the time since I started using it except for when it needs to be cleaned and we normally switch off a day before to allow stuff defrost a little. It's a good freezer money should buy

the issue there is I don't know how to test the waveform of the inverter to know if it's psw or msw as it powers all gadgets in the house (from washing machine to fan wherever it's needed)
am considering buying either of the attached inverter picture when am buoyant. I hope either of them is good as psw and charging capability?
