Hello everyone. Please I am applying for a study permit for the second time and as part of generating my document checklist, I was asked if I had done a medical check up with an IRCC doctor for the last 12 months and I clicked on yes because in my last application I did an upfront medical. Now I was asked to submit a proof of medical exam as part of the document that I need to submit in my new application. My question is, was I suppose to click “no” When asked that question or should I am to use my initial medical exam or I would need to do a new medical before submitting my application. Please your response will be appreciated. Thanks. |

Good evening everyone. Please I am applying for a student visa for the second time. My reason for rejection was basically family ties. Do I need to still talk about my finance on my letter of explanation? |

Please someone should help me to clarify this. I am applying for a Canadian visa for the second time. Do I need to write both a statement of purpose and a letter of explanation or just a letter of explanation instead of a statement of purpose. Thanks. |

Good evening everyone. Please I am applying for a study visa in Canada. Please is it advisable to use my brother in Canada as my sponsor when applying for a student visa. He is the only one with an account that has a considerable amount of money that have stayed in his account for 6months. He is willing to transfer the amount I need to any account that I may decide to use but I am not sure what to decide as sending a lump sum of money to an account which I may decide to use as my statement of account will raise an eyebrow. My mum has a company account but there is less than 5million in the account at the moment because the COVID 19 affected her business and in the last 6months they have not been movement of fund in the account. I also have my personal account with an amount of about 2million and there have been movement of fund in the account for the last 6months. Please can anyone advise me on what to do as per which account statement will be best to use or which account should money be transferred to. Your responses will be highly appreciated. |

onyinyebibian: Thanks for your response. The reason I am trying to find an alternative is to avoid complicated documentation process as the money is in a company account and the account name is the company name. Plus due to the COVID there have not been a lot of money movement in the account. There is just about 5M there at the moment but she wants to transfer another 5M from her account to it. Making it 10M. Is it advisable to use the account statement that way? 1 Like |

olabisi6438: Thanks for this. Please saying my parents transferred the money to my account for my schooling in Canada would it raise an eyebrow as the VO might assume the possibility that the money was probably collected from someone else and dumped in my account. Will I need to show a proof of the statement that shows my mum’s company account(source of the fund) where the money is coming from? Please someone should help me it’s my first time of applying and I don’t really know the best way to go about it. Thanks. |
