My friend who is a US citizen, single, no kids, no wife, and has been working in the US for close to 10 years. Things have gone well and he was planning to settle down this August. So he came to Nigeria about one and half years ago to do introduction and engage his high school sweetheart. Note, this is also when they officially / seriously started dating . All has been well, and the both of them, their families were preparing for the wedding in August. However, last week he just discovered that his fiancee recently went to visit her ex boyfriend. When he confronted her, she said she went because she was bored, and she refused afterwards to change her phone number (he wanted to stop them communicating), saying she didn't sleep with her ex, and she only went for a hangout in his house.

My friend has cancelled the wedding as we speak, and everybody is begging him to re-consider. Between, the lady's age is within the range of 33 to 36. And my guy is between 37 to 40. He is confused as we speak, because he is taking a hard line on the issue, he doesn't want to start his marriage life on a wrong foundation. At the same time, he is feeling hurt because of her unseriousness.
He made the right move.What kind of boredom will make a lady recently engaged to visit her ex.Also,why is she refusing to change her phone number?Meaning she will give him problems when married...as she is actually stubborn

The worst is that the IPOB cannot help Nnamdi Kanu this time with massive protests unlike before. Especially now that they have been tagged a terrorist organization. The Igbo elders on the other hand cannot also help like last time cos no one would want to be associated with NK or his group now that they have been legally tagged terrorists.

Aside from all of these, the current leadership tussle in the group is also another challenge. If Kanu had resolved his issues with his second before being caught, it would have been far better. Who will provide leadership for the group now that the whole Igbo will listen and accord him the kind of respect they gave Kanu and his former second?

Which way for the IPOB leader now that almost all the elders have pulled back?

Only one name comes to mind - Enyinnaya! But I guess there's really nothing much he can do right now seeing that Kanu didn't live up to his bail conditions last time.

brother i have lived in the UK and the quality of life is appaling. most of you live in council houses, you have to pay to watch your own TV (tv license ), you cant park your car on the street or it will be towed if you dont pay road tax, you have to pay for water that is free, you have to pay council tax, you cant go out after a certain time because the street is full of gangs who will stab you with knife, or chavs who will stab you with knife lmaooo. AND THEN ON THE OTHER SIDE i have been to many gated communities in lekki and these people live like superstars. they have basketballcourts, swimming pool, the water is free, no council tax no TV license. come on bro the UK is an illusion. a bad one at that

We can never develop as a country when 85% of some states revenue is used in paying salaries of less than2% of the population. It makes not sense. Many of the civil servants are redundant. In so department you would see 5people doing the work of 1 person. It also like that at the federal where due to tribal sentiments they have loaded it with there people. With technology we don't need bulky civil service. More funds should be made available for stimulating the economy through provision of grants, infrastructure , Agricultural support etc that would help the entire populace. There should be a law that stipulate 65 to 35% in terms in favour of capital to recurrent cost. And that all employment must be shared across all nooks and crannies of a state evenly.
