Masterviolence: This is just the normal Media talks by the Americans to make it look like they were against it.
Imagine coming out to say that bombing Rafah will kill large numbers of civilians but those of us who pay attention have recorded the limitless arrivals and departures of western military cargo planes in and out of Israel in the past few weeks. Maybe Israel is taking deliveries of water rather than jdams and artillery shells.
Rafah is a densely populated city, any military action that involves dropping of bombs in that city will lead to massive civilian casualties, yet some people who are considered inhumane in a sane society are happy for the death of tens of thousands of innocent people. Israel already have enough ordinance at the moment to sent the m.e on fire, don't be deceived, don't be gullible.
I strongly believe that Israel will pay one day for killing innocent en masse, just like how nazí German pay for what they did.
Its a delivery of food for israel.how u take know say na war equipment

HeadNigga: It seems this administration is against cashless policy. With this nonsense policy don't expect young people in your banking halls anymore.
This automatically means that for every alert you receive the government has earned 0.5% of it. If you have 200,000 in your account just know that 1,000 naira of that money is no longer yours.
The man is a genius, he is a master strategist..he increased Lagos IGR...to what end? You are killing businesses, pushing more people into poverty, discouraging cashless policy, etc. Tomorrow they will boast of actualizing 20 trillion from cyber security levy and some dummies will clap for them. Tinubu warned by northern elites to reject French & US Military Base In Nigeria….. This is another dangerous precedence to weaken Nigeria’s sovereignty…. It is time for Nigerians to rise up and take back their country before it is too late…. See details of news article below as published by Daily Trust….
Some eminent northern leaders Friday cautioned against allowing the United States and the French governments to relocate their military bases from the Sahel to Nigeria.
In an open letter to President Bola Tinubu and the leadership of the National Assembly, the leaders said the federal government should not succumb to such pressure.
Those who signed the letter include Professor Abubakar Siddique Mohammed of the Centre for Democratic Development, Research and Training (CEDDERT), Zaria; Professor Kabiru Sulaiman Chafe, a former Minister of State for Petroleum Resources, representing the Arewa Research and Development Project (ARDP), Kaduna; Professor Attahiru Muhammadu Jega, who is a former Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC); Professor Jibrin Ibrahim from the Centre for Democracy and Development (CDD), Abuja; Auwal Musa (Rafsanjani) of the Civil Society Legislative Advocacy Centre (CCISLAC) Abuja; and Y. Z. Ya’u from the Centre for Information Technology and Development (CITAD), Kano.
According to the letter, the American and French governments have allegedly been aggressively lobbying Nigeria, along with other Gulf of Guinea countries, to sign new defence pacts that would allow them to redeploy their troops, expelled from Mali, Burkina Faso and Niger.
The signatories expressed concern that Nigeria, being the most strategically located among the Gulf of Guinea countries, may succumb to this pressure, thereby jeopardising its defence and internal security.
“The recent expulsion of French and American troops from Niger due to their perceived ineffective presence raises questions about the efficacy of hosting foreign military bases”, the citizens said in the open letter.
They also argued that the primary goal of these bases, ostensibly to combat terrorism in the Sahel, has not been achieved, as terrorism has only escalated since those camps were established.
“It is important to clearly state that there are only dangers and no gains from such military operations.
“The American operations in Niger Republic, for example, were ostensibly to pre-empt and uproot terrorists from the Sahel region. The result has so far been quite unimpressive, if not a complete failure.
“It is apparent that the presence of American troops and other intelligence personnel in Niger Republic is not serving any useful purpose. This is for the simple reason that terrorism, far from abating, has risen dramatically since the US began its operations in the region,” they said.
They also cautioned against compromising Nigeria’s sovereignty and independence for short-term strategic alliances that may have dire long-term consequences. They added that hosting foreign troops often leads to increased prices and living costs in local areas, disproportionately affecting the lower-income population.
“Environmentally, the construction and operation of military bases can lead to significant degradation of the local environment. This includes deforestation, soil erosion, water contamination, and loss of biodiversity, which are detrimental to agricultural communities and indigenous populations. The long-term environmental damage could further hinder economic opportunities and sustainable development,” they said.
The presidency and the National Assembly have yet to make any public comments on the open letter.
AleAirHub: Why would the EFCC chairman consider resigning if the former governor of Kogi State isn't prosecuted via media? Watching this unfold, it's becoming evident that little substance will come from the case.
That was not wat he said.He said yahaya refused to be arrested by his men n used a sitting gov to walk right in front of dem out d car.this to him is a disrespect to the organization he runs n will prosecute n apprehend bello or resign to f hes not allowed to do his job..... nothing wrong wit that.D white society resign all d time wen they are not allowed to freely do their job.Dont forget d soldiers under kogi governor hav where they receive orders frm so they could also as well receive orders not to protect bello even if governor orders it
123yes: Do you have sense at all. No nation no town no Village, no state will ever develop without strangers. Lagos is very lucky to have located strategically that made visitors to rush there and help develop Lagos. How many Yoruba persons get property in Lagos
emkz: Rufai claims there were 57 active businesses that were impacted. Since he is now the mouthpiece of those businesses, can he list them?
As far as September 2023, talks began with HiTech on the project, where was Rufai Oseni? Why didn't he raise the alarm then, WHY NOW?
While raising the question about Landmark properties and alignment, Rufai Oseni refused to admit whether Landmark violated the right of way. He also did not state whether Landmark illegally utilized the asset in question. He also did not address the fact that only a marginal portion of Landmark was affected.
When the initial propaganda failed, they shifted to EIA and EISA. The Ministry of Environment already said they issued a waiver. But Rufai Oseni, who requested access to the audited books of someone's private enterprise, is not satisfied.
He also claims the owner of HiTech is Tinubu's personal friend. Does he want us to discuss his boss' personal friends and associates? Did they not give media protection to Emefiele, Okowa, PDP and Atiku? If they didn't, why were they hell bent on humiliating Tinubu with their boss even writing to accuse Tinubu of Noriega moment. If there was no personal or business interest for them, why did they take it so personal?
Then they accused the minister of staying in Eko Hotel and Suites; what has that got to do with anything?
On the surface, Rufai Oseni and Arise News have serious questions; but the questions are not balanced, because they have not asked Landmark questions. They have clearly taken a side and they are fighting for either personal or business interests. Yesterday, it became clear when they interviewed a former Commissioner of Police. The conversation was accusatory and not intermediatory. Answers provided by the government are never acceptable to them, but they believe everything the Landmark CEO says.
Rufai Oseni, you claim to fact check everything. Please fact-check whether Landmark rightfully owned that land and whether he was cleared to build there.
One more point to make: you claim there was no stakeholder engagement before demolition. David Umahi sat down in your studio to say that he met with the CEO of Landmark and that they adjusted their plans to spare his properties. You also asked why properties not previously marked for demolition and outside the right of way were demolished. As a journalist, you ought to be aware that notices of demolition were sent to all affected parties and they complied.
How come only Landmark is complaining?
What is Arise News/Rufai Oseni's personal/business interest here?
PS: When a former editor and a firmer executive director of PUNCH newspapers had a fight over one of them allegedly collecting millions of naira from corrupt politicians and businessmen to give them positive press coverage and kill negative stories, both of them were forced out of the media house. It became clear that some journalists used the media to promote personal and business interests. So if you see any media house seemingly pursuing or protecting someone's business interest, even at the expense of the public good, money is involved.
How come Channels TV, NTA, TVC or AIT are not fighting or protecting any interests? Why certain journalists from certain media houses?
Rufai Oseni asked to see the acvohnt statements of someone's private business. Can Rufai Oseni publish his own accpunt statements so we are convinced he did not receive a PR contract to use his platform to demarket the coastal road project
Wat is this one saying...if u dnt see anything wrong in funding this project n destroying businesses while d train project frm lagos to calabar has not received a single funding n has stopped ... then something is obviously wrong wit u.We should naturally be decongesting our roads by providing reliable train service n not building needless long xpensiv roads.roads do not add half d economic benefits of having reliable train routes.Go around d world n see....its always train 1st before roads
gungab: Why can't NRC work with NPF to provide some Gallant mopol in one section of the train coach that can defend then instead of this aerial surveillance
No amount pf police men u put there can wit stand d fire power of those bandits....u will need attack helicopter to fight those bandits
Nigerian superstar mama of Africa Yemi ALADE talks about her being a vrgin and why she prefer to stay single than date a Nigerian man.
