Are people still on that deadly bushmans matter? Lol! |
The old style bulbs are being phased out the World over anyway. I don't see what the fuss is about. If the OP doesn't know how to add, he can at least ask a child to do the math for him. Simple as ABC. |
When someone starts a topic with "clueless id!ots," you sort of catch on the the person is the id!ot. Power to light homes accounts for 80% of domestic energy usage (I guess the id!ot OP thinks its his plasma TV tho). It is elementary math that energy saving bulbs which use much less power would do what the makers say on the tin, phucking save energy. Its like 2 + 2, but that evidently too hard for some mannerless people. When people rush out foolishly in public, without any facts or figures at hand, you know they are id!ots. ![]() |
One thing is almost certain for Williams after this; they will not be getting a pole position again in the near future. This is sure to set them back by several weeks. |
“If what happened in 2011 (alleged rigging) should again happen in 2015, by the grace of God, the dog and the baboon would all be soaked in blood.’’ He did not elaborate further.Anybody that says these are the words of a responsible person should contact me. I know a good shrink who can handle their problem at Yaba left. Who talks like this aside from boko haram? |
See his anus-like mouth. This is either boko haram or an arsehole. |
You like weavers of words? Not surprising at all. Lol Yes I heard they are brothers, its funny I actually thought they were the same person when I was younger and less aware. Your observation about Clark's identity is a testament to the type of promise university/cosmoplitan cities like Ibadan held in those days, it's a real pity we were afflicted with visionless leaders at crucial stages of our development. They further divided us. Oh well.
Nigeria has been on a downward slope since day one. I actually found it quite difficult to understand that JP Clark was not an Ibadan man. These days, do we even have poets, talkless of those that de-ethnisised? Our beloved country's capacity to draw sadness just grows and grows with each passing day. E go beta! ![]()
Christopher Okigbo was another great one, I encountered his works when I was too young to understand him, i'm rediscovering him now. We are exceedingly blessed with great weavers of words and emotions. I'm not sure if I should say we were lucky or unfortunate those folks were too caught up in their literary pursuit to step into the explosive arena of national politics, a writer poet with a passion for active politics is a dangerous weapon in any language.
Christopher Okigbo is deep, but his style is more European. I love poems with an earthy feel, those that waft you along in the old ways and values, connect to your subconcious in a way that is culturally resonant and give force to your inner being. Wole Soyinka does that, Achebe is not a poet, but he is a master of the art as well. I also have some strange tastes like Mutabaruka. He writes in patois, but its powerful stuff. Try this: http://www.ireggae.com/dispoem.htm Poets in politics, wordsmiths of any sort in politics are a recipe great change, revolution and realisation. Danger or progress. |
O-Liar!
I think the best thing is to just work to see the country split apart. I'm not sure that working within the Nigerian political system will lead to good results. The entire thing needs to be destroyed and split into pieces.
Even if that is your solution, you must still work with other sections to achieve it. No section can walk away and have the wherewithal to sustain the bloody fight that will ensue aside from the SS (which itself, shares numerous borders with neighbours). It is best for us to work together to build the country. Splitting is only easy to talk about. Indeed, if it was that easy, the SS and SE would have long gone. Lets buckle down and work to build the place. |
koruji: I have more than one suggestion, which will start with a complete restructuring of our federation to make it workable. That is the first and foremost. So long as the people on your side of the pond (ACN) are not ready to share interests and directions with the Middle Belt SE and SS, all you've said about restructuring is a load of hot air (nice as your proposal sounds). Words are wind. ![]() |
Looks like a broadside against the AYF. Indirect accusation. So who sponsors AFY? |
Northern group threatens to expose sponsors of crises By Innocent Senyo May 13, 2012 18:03:39pm GMT https://worldstagegroup.com/media/17219765013955.jpg Boko Haram members arrested by security agents Kaduna (WorldStage Newsonline)-- The Northern Emancipation Network and the Arewa Youth Parliament, a coalition of pressure groups in North Nigeria on Sunday in Kaduna threatened to expose sponsors of crises in the region. The coalition claimed that politicians were behind most of the crises in the region by sponsoring youth organizations to cause disaffection among citizens of the region. The group, specifically, reacting to statement credited to the Arewa Youth forum led by one Alhaji Gambo Gujungu asking for the resignation of the Governor Babangida Aliyu of Niger State as the Chairman of the Northern Governors Forum for his inability to halt the crises in the region, especially, the Boko Haram insurgence in that had over the years claimed thousands of live and property worth billions destroyed. The AYF President said, “Maiduguri is now a no go area, nothing is going on there and nobody wants to go there because of the atmosphere of uncertainty. Kano is in the headlines on daily basis and can be described as theater of guerrilla warfare. “ In Yobe even animals are not spared as over a hundred were recently ambushed and massacred. Kaduna is not free despite been fortified by all kinds of security. “ In the Southern part of Kaduna, innocent persons have been killed by unknown gunmen. Plateau is now a case study form students of sectarian violence. “And yet Governor Babangida Aliyu is there taking pride in what he could not accomplish while things are going on smoothly in other parts of the country.” However, Coordinator of the group, Mallam Sulieman Abdulla’aziz, while addressing a press conference in Kaduna, noted that over the years some youth organizations had been unwittingly used as tools to cause crises in the region by politicians and vowed to exposed them should they failed to retraced their steps. According to him, it had been observed that various groups spring up to in the name of furthering the interest of the northern region at a time the region was passing through the most difficult in the history of the nation since independent. He added that whereas the emergence of these concern groups would have ordinarily been a welcome in the circumstances, the activities of the them were centered on creating deeper divisions and misunderstanding by capitalizing on current situation in the country. Abdulla’aziz insisted that the leaders of the region, including governors of the region were doing all they could to ensure that peace reign in the region, saying that no organization should cause disaffection among the citizen of the region. He argued that any attempt to force the present Chairman of the Northern Governors’ resign would be resisted by youth from the region because “we know that some of these organization are sponsored by politicians to ensure there is crisis in the region. “Leaders of such Northern contraptions as the Arewa Youth Forum(AYF) are so much living in the long-forgotten past as not to know that already, serious and responsible proposals are being made at a collective level to confront this critical situation in which is why at a point when elders of the North and the youth and all cultural, religious and political leadership are forming a synergy to confront this common enemy, the AYF is limiting its focus on a single governor of one out of the 19 northern states. “And at a point when the entire region is working towards achieving unity across tribal, religious, political, generational and class fault-lines, AYF is being used to further create disaffection by deliberately or blindly walking into the traps of those seeking to make political capital even out of the blood and tears of fellow northerners who are daily maimed, widowed and orphaned. “Leaders of the AYF in their desperation to serve their pay masters have failed to notice that too much has already been done to the collective interest of the north which they purport to protect – that people can no longer tolerate irresponsible words of bitterness and selfish political opportunism.” http://worldstagegroup.com/index.php?active=news&newscid=4782&catid=2 |
bayooooooo: If this man is not cautioned, Nigeria is set for explosion.IMHO, he is stretching his luck. Unlike last year, GEJ is finally settling down and I imagine, will soon begin to boot loose talkers in the balls. When you hear the gutter utterances by our past dictators like Buhari and IBB, you easily understand how we got where we are. |

sholasys: Na wa ooo!!!, This is unprofessional at all. How did you engaged the business with the cleaner company? Was there any service level agreement (SLA)or contractual documents ? Contracts are usually base on timeline and terminating it abruptly must be stipulated and reason for doing so. Do you run an organised HR ? or One man business-like. How long has the cleaner company be working with you clinic ? do they have any service quality issue before. Will you pay them compensation ?. power tend to corrupt, and Absolute power corrupt absolutely. Madam may God for give you. If i am the MD of the company will institute case against you. HABA!!! How many pple have you render jobless bc of one sily girl. Pls reinstate them back else ........Else you go do wetin? The company that hired such a slowpoke (to borrow from Seuns censor ) is 100% responsible for her quality of service. As we have learnt, the person she harrassed was both frail, old and ill. It will be a lesson to them never to send brain-damaged people to tend to the health of the vulnerable. You never even know if her behaviour could have led to a patients death. What are jobs compared to life? The patients have families and might be bread winners. There is no time for jokes in health environments. What do you think a death or harrassment suit would have brought the OP, his staff and that of the cleaning company? |
