raydavinci: . Yes they do but the fact is there is no real yoruba man, weather born and died abroad or home who can not be linked back home to his fathers house. That's yoruba for you.
Dude, there is no ethnic group where people cannot be linked to their fathers houses. Lets cut out crap arguments.
If the man is Yoruba, he is Yoruba. This is the same way we had all sorts of weird arguments about how Mutallab could not possibly a Nigerian and how Nigerians love life to much to be suicide bombers.
Those arguments all look id!otic now. Anybody can be anything, I don't see what good tying a terrorists behaviour to his ethnic group will do. What if the rumour turns out true, what do you do then?

Bisi james: McLaren again? Like what Beaf always saying untill when Martin whitmarsh get sack nothing good will ever happen to this two great driver they get in their team, the man management is very poor.
Just look how much faster Lewis was than the rest of the field, yet they short fuelled him. Its just crazy!
Even if Lewis was carrying two laps worth of fuel, his raw speed was so much that he would still have got pole. Its hard to understand the stuff going on in Martin Whitmarshes head.
Its incredible that the team with the fastest car and fastest driver is starting from the back of the grid. "Miracles happen." embarassed
Sports › Re: Formula One Gee-Spot 2012 by Beaf(op): 9:56am On May 13, 2012
If not for the catalogue of errors by his team, Lewis would have been leading the WDC by quite some margin (which would only have widened going into Monaco where he is always possessed with the spirits of speed).

A head needs to roll at McLaren and that head sits on the shoulders of a man called Whitmarsh. angry angry angry

How can a single team keep making such stup!d errors?

Hamilton stripped of pole and demoted to back of grid as McLaren botch it again
By Malcolm Folley
PUBLISHED: 18:15, 12 May 2012 | UPDATED: 09:25, 13 May 2012

Lewis Hamiton was shunted from pole position to the back of the grid for the Spanish Grand Prix after another calamitous mistake by his McLaren team here.

Hamilton’s bold, brilliant drive, decimating all his rivals to secure pole by half a second, was erased from the record books after McLaren confessed that a mechanic had inadvertently put an insufficient amount of fuel into his car for him to return to the team garage.

Hamilton was still elated inside his car when he had been told over his radio to park half a lap from the garage. He was informed: ‘Please stop the car. We have a problem.’

...

McLaren’s defence was that Hamilton’s car had experienced a technical issue — a ‘force majeure’ in Formula One parlance. However, when challenged if human error could be ruled out, team principal Martin Whitmarsh said: ‘No.’

Gbawe: To be honest, I really don't see the big deal here and I think Nairaland has deeply affected the perception of many. What if the suspect is Yoruba? Any Yoruba person , or indeed human being, comfortable with the concept that there is good and bad in everyone will not be too bothered.

Yorubas are only making a fuss here because of the ribbing you think you will get from the stupid ethnic bigots here. You have let them put you on the defensive and define your reaction. I urge some people to begin thinking like adult and rising above filth. Don't be like the juvenile delinquents here who say every member of their ethnic groups are saints yet we see how reality makes a mockery of this thereby making those fools look like little kids with no place in an adult world.

Of course if he is not Yoruba then that information is relevant and should come out but Yoruba folks should refuse to fall for the bait of the m.o.r.on.ic bigots on nairaland who will want to make out that this development is proof of anything. It is not and well-adjusted adults would know that.

All I will keep saying about this matter, is that it doesn't matter where the man comes from. He could be Isoko or Itsekiri, it wouldn't matter in the least bit to me.
Defending a terrorist based on his ethnicity is a very primitive thing to do. Poking ethnic jibes at because of a terrorists ethnicity is a very primitive thing as well.

Let us wait for the full details to come out. If the man finally turns out to be Yoruba, so what? Simply disown him and move on. If he turns out not to be Yoruba, let his people disown him too.

The ethnically defensive arguments being put forward here are childish and smack of the beginnings of an ochestrated campaign by those who know more about boko haram than they are letting on. NL is a big place where all sorts congregate. Lets not forget that.

Again, the mans ethnic group is of zero consequence. A terrorist is a terrorist.

Feel it in the one drop,
And we still find time to rap,
We're making the one stop,
And we fill in the gap,
So feel this drum beat,
As it beats within'
Playing a rythm,
Fighting against ism and skism's, singing...
I know Jah'd never let us down
Pull your rights from wrong
I know Jah'd never let us down
Oh no ! Oh no ! Oh no !

They made the world so hard,
Everyday we got to keep on fighting (everyday)
They made the world so hard,
Everyday the people are dying,
(Dread, dread, dread...)
How, how, how a frightening day ! (repeat)

Eh give us the teaching of His Majesty,
For we no want no devil philosophy,

Can you hear ?
Give us the teaching of His Majesty,
For we no want no devil philosophy,

For the independence day show in apartheid Zimbabwe, Bob Marley was given only 10 minutes.
He ignored it. cool
His words had moved the crowd to a real frenzy by the time he was halfway through. The organisers frantically begged him to stop. He ignored it. cool
In the end, teargas was applied on the crowd.

May the soul of one of the greatest Black men, Robert Nester Marley (Bob Marley) Rest In Peace.

Excerpts from the closing stanza's of Bob Marleys Zimbabwe.

Brother, you're right, you're right,
You're right, you're right, you're so right!
We'll 'ave to fight (we gon' fight), we gonna fight (we gon' fight),
We'll 'ave to fight (we gon' fight), fighting for our rights!

Natty trash it in-a Zimbabwe (Zimbabwe);
Mash it up in-a Zimbabwe (Zimbabwe);
Set it up in-a Zimbabwe (Zimbabwe);
Africans a-liberate Zimbabwe (Zimbabwe);

Ymodulus: hi pc guru long time. sorry u on gtalk or yahoomessenger?

@ beaf mr wat language do u use
also beaf i need to learn a new programming language wud u advice. is mobile d way? am good on php. pls kindly exclude java and python from ur ansas.

@poster over my dead body not me and cgi
I use C# mainly, but often find myself doing some C++.
These both are good to learn for low level coding on the Windows platform (C++ is cross platform, a bonus).

As for the future, yes mobile seems like the new fruitful garden; so I'll suggest HTML5 (pretty straightforward), JavaScript (in its raw form and in API's and server/clientside frameworks like Node.js, Ringo, JQuery etc). There is a shortage of mobile dev's.
HTML5 is cross-platform, as is JavaScript. Way to go. cool

Politics › Re: FG To Track Down Boko Haram With Satellites by Beaf: 3:13am On May 13, 2012
all4naija: I think something is missing. Does having a high resolution satellites have any impact on tracing terrorists who they don't have idea about in the midst of the innocent? The line in bold is like talk to impress others coming from a quack
A lot of the time, boko haram kingpins have been arrested based on tip-offs. However, this method fails the vast majority of the time, because the terrorists simply disappear before the security services can get there; even suicide bombers have managed to escape.

With satellite technology, this changes dramatically. Immediately somebody makes a report, a satellite lock-on can be obtained, with tracking proceeding almost instantly from outer space where practically all that goes on at ground level is visible.
The satellite tracking gives an overall view that can be used by ground commanders to direct the necessary intelligence and neutralisation forces with highly increased efficiency.

The gap between Lewis and Alonso is more than one second, so except Lewis bottles it or the new McLaren handles it tyres badly, I don't see Alonso's possibility of winning. I wager that he'll quickly overhaul Maldonado, tho.

The guy you are dealing with is a supreme liar who is totally lacking in shame, as old as he is.

Gbawe: My brother this was always my point about the inobjective hatred of the O-m.ro.ons and ethnic bigots here. So keen to discredit what Osun announced they all actually swallowed Wesley80's deception , the ultimate O-haters, to begin saying Osun is spending 300 on 15kw SHP when it has now being established that the 15KW SHP is a pilot scheme, concieved in 2007, with nothing to do with Aregbesola . commonsense shows that no one objective would have derailed the thead with the hateful and crassly deceptive negativity some have shown here.

Alhaji do the forum as an arbitrator. Go to page two of thise thread and see whether Wesley80 and others here are not embodiments of hate and malevolent obsession with others whoare unconcerned about then

The entire forum can see the deception for themselves on page2

Wesley wesley80 produced this

And deliberately latched on to the part in bold because of his agenda of malevolence and hatred against anything Yoruba.

He wrote as 100% damning evidence of his hateful agenda:

This was the start of the deception. His fellow O-haters, only more O-stupid than Wesley80, did not read what was stated before fixing eyes on "Ikeji-Ile Ijesha OSUN 15kW"

If the fools were not hateful illiterate who left their brain in their shoes ,in haste to engage in mischief, they would have read what was written prior to see that the Ile Ijesha OSUN 15kw is a UNIDO pilot scheme concieved in 2007 ,when Argegbesola was not Governor, and thus unconnected with the correct announcement of Osun State. That is my point here and this is why I call all these O-bitches O-wned. O-hater Wesley80 thought he was exposing me, Osun and Aregbesola but he only managed to make a fool of himself and many of the O-hateful O-lodos who queued behind him blindly. See for yourself Alhaji. As an objective person, is it not crystal clear ,from below, the hateful mischief of Wesley80 and others driven by nothing but bad belle for the SW? They enter a progressive thread, and rather than let those of us from the region discuss in peace, they begin an agenda of mischief. O-shame on them. Use the link below yourself to how shameless Wesley80 derailed the thread when discussions had been amicable earlier. From that point, his O-hateful companions, who would have avoided the positive SW thread, trooped in shamelessly. Sad. O-losers and O-lowlifes.
