"Second South-South economic summit" Pray, can anyone tell me what the first one achieved? Or is it just an excuse for another gathering to blow big grammer and postulate economic models and theories that will never see the light of day? If a country can achieve greatness based on the number of workshops and summits held, Nigeria would be an eldorado by now.
I don't think this one is the usual workshop; it seems quite well researched and target driven. |
bittyend: We're watching you!My guy, go and rally round for a worthy economic summit like we are doing. Ok? Don't let low self-esteem and jealousy make you watch us until your eyes pop out. Comedy! |
bittyend: Did the US and Europe need to go to war with Ghaddafi in Libya?? HELL NO!! They had everything they wanted in Libya. Why can't you just mind your business? See wet dreams about the SS o! lol! ![]() |
bittyend: Warri is Itsekiri land, stop claiming what doesn't belong to your people.Whatever. Just carry your jealousy and insecurities away, bruv. You are too grown for us to suckle. You really do sound like a boy with his first two pubic hairs. |
No correction, just adding my 2 cent to the conversation. America, The U.K. and most of the EU countries are broke as a joke with some near default so this summit is not about what's beneficial for 9ja, its about exploiting resources and trying to block China.
Yes, they are broke and aside the US, there seems little hope for any of those countries. It is for this reason that the rich there are looking for new foreign pastures to invest in. Their countries are done for, so things are happening at individual level. The UK is drastically cutting back their military costs at all levels and struggling for air at home, therefore it is a stretch to see them as a future threat to us in any way. The US does not need to go to war for Nigerian oil, we are already shipping the stuff to them as our largest customer. I don't see any big deal aside from subterranean fears that there might be military alliances in the offing, with the possible breakaway of the SS. |
bittyend: Sour grapes and Jealousy about what, though?Funny guy. If you weren't vegetating in peckam, you would have heard about places like Ughelli, Sapele, Warri etc. Look them up. You really sound like a toddler, bro. Keep your jealousy, inferiority complex and your "2billion barrels of crude oil" to yourself, sir. We don't give a shiit. ![]() |
torkaka: bunch of grown arz roaches arguing what they don't know.Whatever, they are an integral and valued part of the SS (unlike elsewhere). We are talking about the SS Economic Summit here, if you have nothing to add, then waka comot. |
bittyend: SS is part of Nigeria, and since Nigeria is still a country - I have every right to scrutinize what you guys are doing over there..Scrutinising is different from sour grapes, jealousy and airs of desperation. Only babies need to be suckled, bro and you've now grown too large for a diet of breastmilk. |
And I voted for you to be board poster of the year and you politely tell me to F off. ![]() I love this f-in board. As far as money, 9ja has template the adventures in Iraq and Libya.
Where did I tell you to F off, bruv? You haven't offended me, so I wouldnt do that. Thanks for the vote. ![]() |
bittyend: Hotep brother!I wonder why SS matters cause some of you so much heartache? We don't give a rats arse about Guiliani either; his money and connections are all that matter. So if you think your fellow blacks are "coons" and "booty scratching bloody Africans in the creeks of Niger/Delta," then you have obvious issues with a low self-esteem. Thats one reason you can't seem to mind your business as well. Wetin konsain you wit SS wen de always make you mark present? Low self-esteem is a terrible thing, watch it, bro; many sufferers commit suicide or die of heart attack. ![]() |
ACN people are beginning to look predictable as agbero's these days. Sad shiit! https://media.tumblr.com/tumblr_lnza7aMOgb1qkpp5h.gif |
Investing for who, the masses, or the House of Windsor(colonial masters)? For his leadership on and after September 11, Giuliani was given an honorary knighthood (KBE) by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II on February 13, 2002
Money is money. End off. |
Chei! I'm sure Aregbesola feels like slapping somebody right now. |
In general, I don't understand why you guys let yourself be baited so easily. It would be as if someone said you have two mothers or something. Clearly a lie, something impossible. Would you get yourself in a seething rage debunking what is obviously wrong? Don't let yourself get trolled, basically..
Its the other way round, bro. They came to bait SS people and got one square between the eyes. ![]() |
Lol! Can anybody imagine Ilaje's in Delta state saying they wanna live elsewhere? Una tink say dem like suffer or dem no get eye? ![]() Funny shiit! Abeg, let us discuss the SS economic summit jare! |
bittyend: SS summit with MULLEN equates to the militarilisation of the SS.And how is that your problem? Are you from the SS or our sister SE? |
bittyend: I pray Nigeria remains as one - but if it doesn't - we already know where Yoruba land starts and ends. And we need buffer zones everywhere. I know Yoruba strategists are already planning and the covert and overt operations have begun. You are funny! ![]() You have spent so much time decaying in peckam that you really have no clue about Delta state people. Do you think people say, "Warri no de carry last" for nothing? Lol! |
Onlytruth: Anyway, I believe I have conveyed the concerns of most Igbo.I don't think those are anything to worry about really. I really believe it will come good. |
Can we not just enjoy our SS economic summit? |
bittyend:Really? I'm sure you are only 9 or 10 years old. |
Onlytruth: Obviously BRACE started before SE economic summit. Hmm.In many ways, the SE is just getting vital structures and much needed rebuilding. Be patient, bro; it should all come good in a year or two. |
dayokanu: Onlym0r0n.Please, Ilaje's are only related to the Yoruba's. They are not Yoruba, in fact Delta state would gladly collect all the Ilaje's in Ondo and Lagos; they are our kith and kin who are maltreated and live like animals in those states. Thank you. Ilaje people do not live like this in Delta state: https://a1.ec-images.myspacecdn.com/images01/11/a2f1b259f81ba040882778fb2cf96a11/l.jpg |
Onlytruth: Beaf, but seriously, how do you explain the fact that there is no SE/SS economic forum (never mind political forum)? Isn't it self evident that any economic development talks in SS should involve SE because of territorial intertwine(of tribes)? The SE held their own economic summit in September last year, but they did not invite the SS. These things are mere regional groupings, I wouldn't read anything into it. BRACE has been going on since 2009 it isn't something new. Such cooperation as you are thinking would ideally be between the organisers of the two groups. Indeed, there are too many developmental and cultural overlaps between SE/SS for there not to be future cooperation. |
dayokanu: Onlylies you hae started again. Are you sure about the bolded?Cross River does not produce oil, dummy. If it was about oil, would be just Rivers, Bayelsa, Akwa Ibom and Delta. Relative to these states, others produce negligibly. It is about deeper things like Onlytruth mentioned. Now, run along; this space is meant for progress, not vultures and winshes. |
Rewind... Gbawe: Were Igboro. Ku ise !!! Accursed like Demdem would say.https://gifsoup.com/webroot/animatedgifs/783811_o.gif |
Onlytruth: I am even beginning to think that it is not oil, after all Cross river is not an oil producing state. So, it has to be something else. Well, whatever it is will not survive without Igbo support. It isn't about oil and of course, we need to be in good terms with our natural allies and neighbours. Mutual respect and strong alliances are key. |
afam4eva: South-south economic summit sounds rather laughable and Musiwa reallly caught it in his post. You might think divisively, but we are pressing ahead, so its best to live with it. The SS as a whole is in alliance with the SE and it will not be splintered. As is obvious from the calibre of attendee's, the aspirations of the SS are very high indeed and a beacon for every region to aspire to. I wonder what in your mind constitutes reason for ethnic groups to look beyond primitive boundaries and unite for their common good? We have both PDP and ACN states involved; there are Annang, Edo, Efik, Esan, Ibibio, Igbo, Ijaw, Isoko, Itsekiri, Urhobo etc etc. That, my friend is the true definition of unity; it is something the nation lacks to its developmental detriment. The SS has unity, so it will grow. |
The explanation is just a lot of silly kids who have never been to Nigeria or have spent too little time in the place. It makes them think that the various ethnic groups are gangs to which they swear allegiance. 99% of the so-called bigots live abroad. |
torkaka: @musiwaPawpaw leaf is not the problem o! E don graduate from dat one! He has started sniffing gutter water. ![]() |
The summit is being organized by the BRACED Commission, an acronym for Bayelsa, Rivers, Akwa Ibom, Cross River, Edo, and Delta states (the states in the oil-producing South-South region). This is what is meant by "economic integration" and this is the quality of aspiration for the various regions to strive to. It is cross party, multhi-ethnic and dynamic. The SS is really raising the bar. ![]() |
