yang:Leave them jare! Its clown season. People pay N65.00 per litre to remain in slavery, while some corrupt goons have legally sewn their theft into the laws of the land. It is a supreme irony that some are calling for "revolution" to fight the person who wants to free them and engage in bloody battle so the owners of the country can continue rap!ng their daughters and stealing their childrens milk. Its foolishness whichever way one looks at it. Anybody that is crying for revolution over the removal of the fuel subsidy is either willfully ignorant of their own country or a hyena who benefits from the fuel subsidy. Again; Nigerians pay N65.00 per litre to remain in slavery, its the bribe thats paid to own you. |
Nigerians are the countries worst enemy. There are thousands of people like that prof who are brought down by fellow Nigerians out of jealousy, wickedness or the rampant "pull them down" syndrome which is driven by low self esteem issues. Even right here on NL, the hypocrites have taken root. They are always first to scream loudest, but the ones at the forefront of killing progress with lies and sophistry. Can someone ask that hypocrite called Gbawe, why he has continuously lied that http://www.afrosciencecommunity.com is a scam? A website that is meant to give freely to the poor? Ask them and you will find abundant reason why Nigeria is not developed; his likes parade the place making vast and vacuous speeches to no end, but when it comes to the time to practicalise words, they turn into full fledged bloodsuckers. |
The direct contact button is very commendable indeed, I will advise those with sound idea's to use it. I too will use it whithin the next few days. Let the usual people rant, afterall they ranted the same way about YouWin too, only for their mates here on NL to succeed and begin making solid plans to strategise for the future, meet up etc. . . All right here on NL. Let the clowns rant, its clown beauty contest day! Yipee!!! ![]() |
NSN12:Keep it up, it is heartwarming to see the youth begin to engage politically, all hope is not lost. Great job! |
Bomb blast in Sapele mosquehttp://www.tribune.com.ng/sun/front-page-articles/5841-bomb-blast-in-sapele-mosque He was probably going to use the bomb elsewhere. The police better not let him die before he spills the beans. in the meantime, every last member of that mosque should be arrested and carted off to Abuja for interrogation. |
emmatok:Ok, I support OPC and I will join my local chapter. Satisfied now? |
Beaf:That statement seems quite simplistic. Only a pretty serious problem will see anyone flown out of the country, only to remain for two months; the long and short is that he must have had some sort of operation or the other. If the man had been voted into power, it would have been the beginning of another Yar Adua saga. |
youngmonie:I am for real. It is best we look at the realities on the ground, wars need vast amounts of money; in that regard, the ND is totally underrated in the average Nigerian mind. If the ND decides it has definitely had enough, only the US would be able to exert pressure to keep the country together; the problem will be way too big for the rest of Nigeria. To make matters worse, it is 100% certain that the SE will follow suit, closely followed by the Middle Belt; like the ND, those two regions are quite unhappy; even the SW has shown dissatisfaction with OPC's show of force a couple of days ago. If the ND leaves, Nigeria will rapidly implode. |
olly pass:Aside from the bolded, everything above is mere conjecture. Now to the bolded, the firm answer is, yes. In fact, it is high time Nigerian states and LG's learnt to live without free money; if they were all generating wealth and employment for their people, who would be so bothered about the removal of the oil subsidy? What we should be concerened about is how to enthrone true federalism and get every unit of govt functioning. That is what obtains in the developed World, no unit of govt goes cap in hand on a monthly basis to central govt. As an example, the pic below is of a 35MW power station in the UK, owned by 3 London LG's; Lewisham, Southwark, and Greenwich : https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/9/9f/SELCHP.jpg/800px-SELCHP.jpg Source: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SELCHP What sort of laziness plagues Nigeria that we cannot cry out for such local development from our states and LG's, instead of scrounging for subsidies and survival handouts from Abuja? |
aurenflani:Army take over the country? Lol! Thats a dream mate! Those days are long gone, any coup today will amount to a declaration of war. Ruklaw:We are missing out the import of JRC's message. They are asking for all Northern Muslims to leave the ND immediately and for all ND people to start returning home. It is an ominous message that better be taken seriously. If things go full hog, then Nigeria is about to say goodbye to oil and free meals forever. If the ND decides to break free, there will be little anyone can do, as all the money Nigeria makes comes from there and you cannot prosecute a war on an empty stomach. |
IBB Returns After Two Months Medical Trip Abroad Aliyu M. Hamagam 9 December 2011 Minna — Former Military President Ibrahim Babangida on Wednesday arrived in the country after a two month medical trip abroad. A source close to the family told Daily Trust that the former president has fully recovered from the illness that took him abroad. "He has come back hale and hearty. Infact, he is looking fresh, and has added weight," he said. The former president arrived Abuja aboard Lufthansa Airline around 4 pm, after which he left for Minna in a chartered aircraft. Our correspondent reports that in Minna, the former president was received by friends, relations, aides and domestic servants. Babangida left the country in October to Germany for treatment for an ailment that had to do with his back and legs. http://allafrica.com/stories/201112090413.html |
IBB = Atiku = Ciroma = Buhari = boko haram. |
When the subsidy is removed, those making noise on the internet will be expected to be leading the "revolution," or forever be branded cowards. ![]() I don't know of anybody, but a clown that will scream revolution without purpose or ideology. Anyways, maybe "born to rule" terrorist activities like boko haram are what they call revolution. |
Ufeolorun:Obj is surely not a core-Northerner, but guess which regions elitist interests coronated him? That is where the hegemony comes in. Obj refused to play ball after his first term and kicked off the process that has led to the defeat of the hegemony that kept Nigeria backward and their own people uneducated. That is the reason IBB has so much hatred for him. Call Obj any name you like, but he has gone down in history as the man who began the battle to throw off our oppresive shackles. If today, you begin yearning for the same old hegemonists, then something is wrong. It is worthy of note that both Abacha and IBB built personal refineries with Nigeria's money in a bid to enrich themselves and their cronies. Today, that same block has responded to their loss of power with the scourge of boko haram. What love is there to give those who kill defenseless inocent people, including women and newborns, because they have lost the straws with which they sipped the blood and vitality of the nation? Yes, we see a defeated hegemony and we recognise its danger very clearly indeed. Ufeolorun:In my opinion; all Nigerians lack introspection. There is no section of the country one can look at and feel pride in its development; everything is shabby and every section has a disgraceful beggarly dependence on oil which is not even a manufactured product. We all need introspection. Ufeolorun:Would the Gani Adams led OPC faction have demonstrated in support of boko haram? If he was that powerful, he would have stopped OPC's open display of weapons in a street demontration; perhaps, he would even have broken away completely and renamed his faction long ago. Dude, OPC is OPC and their demonstration has thrown up very deep political contradictions; it is for such reasons that ethnically bigotted politics is bad business, right now the local vision of alliances looks blurred and confused. Are you with the core-Northern elite or are you with the South and Middle Belt? If you aren't, who will be the long term winners and losers? You cannot forsake natural allies in pursuit of what is very dead and very buried. |
^ Lolzzzzz! Thats some tragically funny shyte! ![]() |
@pDude You have a very useless profile pic! ![]() Did you get friends to do that? |
^ Lol! Thanks bruv. A lot of people are so blinded by their ethnic bigotry that can't even see left from right, especially on a thread like this one that blows certain contradictions into the open (such as OPC's demonstration). Politics driven by ethnic bigotry will only result in isolation from natural allies, I don't understand how its proponents cannot see that (except they are slyly working against their own people for selfish gain). |
^ I am not Igbo. |
pDude:Jittery?! ![]() Dude, lets just wait and see. Your "revolution" sounds jittery. |
DaLover: GEJ continues to impress me with his ability to takle tough issues and summount them, not a know noise maker but a silent achiever.Word! ![]() Let us wait for the weak filthy tongued cowards who only know how to call names to start their revolution. The future of Nigeria cannot continue to depend on the beggarly attitude of depending on Abuja for everything. In other countries, the drivers of growth and employment are local govts and states with the FG just overseeing policies, standards and national security. In Nigeria, it is the opposite with everybody begging for money derived from oil that is not in their backyards. Sometimes I wonder if the average person is not ashamed of the status quo which is why they wish to be subsidised as if we are handicapped. For the first time in our history, a man has risen who is willing to stake his all for the benefit of the country; so it is time to know who the real enemies of progress are. GEJ has challenged them to an open fight, let the cowards come out if they dare. ![]() Nigeria will develop, regardless of any gathering of vultures, hyena's and bloodsuckers that wish the old paths to backwardness of the past will continue. |
Where are all the people that were screaming "revolution" just a few days ago? Bloody cowards and trouble makers. |
Ufeolorun:I find the bolded quite intriguing. I wonder what you are hinting at, especially as you regularly engage in "we and them" style politics. The core-Northern elite has controlled power from the background in Nigeria since 1960 with only underdevelopment to show for it; the country has now been given a second lease of life with the ousting of that bunch from power and the rest of the country (including the core-Northern street) has turned its back on them and their boko haram response. And, yes, people are rightly bitter about where we find ourselves 51 years after birth, I see nothing wrong with that and I wonder why you do. There is also no point in making it out as the Igbo's being the only bitter ones, that only trivialises a national struggle into a self destructive one with narrow ethnic interests that are unsustainable because money continues to flow in from Abuja in the absence of local creativity and innovativeness thats worth a farthing. Anybody who is not bitter is not for the progress of the masses, so please let us be careful not to be seen in that light; let us also not be seen in the light of narrow-minded ethnic champions. The core-Northern elite have lost their hegemonic grip on power for good in Nigeria, so what point is there in trying to resurrect a dead negative? Population for votes? That can always be triangulated and effectively negated; so what is your real drive for the irrevocably defeated past, my brother? |
ShangoThor:I know you are well meaning, but it is impossible to work with a fake and a liar who will even go so far as to spit on selfless work for the poor. |
Gbawe:Lol! You are very funny indeed! While I support GEJ, you represent drug barons and certificate forgers with no known family history like Tinubu and high story tellers like Aregbesola, yet you are brave enough to talk about corruption? Wonders! Is it any wonder that your immorality should spread to claiming that http://www.afrosciencecommunity.com is a scam, whereas you don't even have the brains or morality of our least contributor? You can deceive the slower ones on NL and other bigots like yourself, but the rest of us see right through you. You have nothing to offer the country, that is why you are jealous of http://www.afrosciencecommunity.com. Instead of being jealous, why not get your village to prepare to better itself with open and direct science, or even the community you live in? Instead, you are here telling cheap lies, spreading ethnic bigotry and making a right fool of yourself. If I were to challenge you to point out a way you have helped your neighbour, you will likely point at your stolen bags of money. |
ShangoThor:You should tell that to Gbawe who has nothing but deceit and ethnic bigotry. How can anyone claim that this website is a scam, aside from lying scum that will steal a kids food without any concience? http://www.afrosciencecommunity.com As they say, by their fruits you shall know them. What fruit does Gbawe have for the common man, aside from dispensing shameless streams of lies for the conmen he represents? If the country is on fire, wisdom says the likes of the fork-tongued Gbawe are the type to avoid. |
Gbawe:The group described by the bolded must be a pack of lying fools. I made a general statement about a fungus and you answered like I called your name. Is any firther proof needed about who the ethnically bigoted fungus is? LOLZZ!!! Keep to lying and ethnic bigotry, other things bring out akanmu between your ears. Since there is so much space in your head, if you don't mind, I would like to store some goods like cement, blocks and sand; I will pay rent if you insist! ![]() |
cap28:Crap 28, you are as daft as you are pathetic. Will the foolishness you freely expressed above help Pakistan if they are crazy enough to call for a rewind of the sort of shootout that is making that general talk nonsense? You are really daft. |
The ethnically bigoted lying fungus still cannot tell us why it lied that http://www.afrosciencecommunity.com is a scam. ![]() |
Gbawe:Damn! Out of jealousy you brought up the subject of http://www.afrosciencecommunity.com/ and now after getting ear bending slapdowns you are claiming that I am beating my own chest? Wonders! What do you have to beat your chest about? Stolen money or moral currency? Dude, you are as weak as discarded toilet roll. Are you still finding it impossible to tell the World how http://www.afrosciencecommunity.com/ is a scam? LOLZZZ! The shocking life of a lying ethnic bigot must be sadder than the stench from Lucifers rancid breath. You are now officially a clown as well as a liar and bigot. Show us how the selfless work for the poor at http://www.afrosciencecommunity.com/ is a scam or shutup. All your type does is feast off the blood and sweat of the common man; steal milk from babies and rap'e the country. Why are you jealous of my website when you lack the brains or morals to undertake such a venture? Dude, you are way to far gone with telling lies everyday to even understand what joy and fulfilment helping the less priviledged can bring. All you wake to do is tell lies, exagerate and steal food from babies. |

^ So who made the bomb? Or do normal people settle quarels ls with bombs? |
great1:Infighting? Were you there? If you were there, please tell us the nature of the "infighting" and why it led to a bomb going off. Where they planning to bomb a church or another mosque? |
